Rendla Santhosh

Rendla Santhosh is the Bahujana Rajya Samiti President from Chalvai, Govindaraopet Mandal and Chairman of SMC Model School. He was born on 06th June 1976 to the couple Mallaiah and Rajeswari in Chalvai village.

Education Background:

In 1990, Santhosh earned his Board of Secondary Education at ZP High School located at Chalvai. He completed Intermediate from Govt junior college, Govindaraopet. In 1998, Santhosh attained his Graduation with a Degree from Ambedkar Open University. He received B.A in History Political Science.

Professional Life:

Initially, he ran a Cycle Shop after that Santhosh started his own Photo Studio i.e Manisha Photo Studio. Santosh expressed his humanity by providing free pass photos and xerox services to the disabled. Then after he gets into Business Real Estate at JSR Group Sun City. He worked at Narayana Goud, Chairman of JSR Suncity for many years.

A Career in Politics:

He has been active in politics since his childhood. Santhosh started his Political Career with the Telugu Desam Party(TDP). With the inspiration of Senior NTR, he entered into Politics. He grew up inspired by NTR’s speeches and followed in his footsteps.

TDP is a regional Indian political party active in the southern states of Andhra Pradesh and Telangana. The party was founded by N.T.Rama Rao on 29-March-1982. TDP was the first regional party to become the main opposition party at the 8th Lok Sabha from 1984 to 1989. TDP has a commitment to safeguarding “the political, economic, social, and cultural foundations of Telugu-speaking people”. Santhosh became a Devotee of TDP as he liked the successful party style in doing justice to all sections.

He was selected as President of Mandal Vidhyarthi Vibhagam in 1991 while he was in Intermediate. From 1999-2000, he worked as Mandal Youth Leader and duly performs his duty in order to fulfill his roles and responsibilities.

Santosh is a huge admirer of Megastar Chiranjeevi. With affection for him, he joined the Praja Rajyam Party(PRP) and served from its inception until its demise. He joined the PRP under the auspicious of Rama Chandraiah and Chiranjeevi State Youth Association President Karide Prabhakar. He was selected and served as Joint District Co-Convenor.

Due to certain circumstances, Santhosh left the TDP. Then after he switches over to the Telangana Rashtra Samiti(TRS) party in 2001.

Telangana Movement:

The Telangana movement refers to a movement for the creation of a new state, Telangana, from the pre-existing state of Andhra Pradesh in India. After several years of protest and agitation, the central government, under the United Progressive Alliance, decided to bifurcate the existing Andhra Pradesh state, and on 07-February-2014, the Union Cabinet unilaterally cleared the bill for the creation of Telangana. Lasting for almost a decade, this has been one of the most long-lasting movements in South India.

Santhosh played an active role during the late 2000s Telangana Separate State Movement spearheaded by now-CM, K.Chandrashekar Rao. He took part in Hunger Strikes, Rally, Protest Programs, Chalo Hyderabad, Vanta-Varpu, Million March, Bike Rallies, as a part of the Telangana Movement.

Santosh fought against the sale of Gudumba in the village he met Union Ministers also about the ban on gudumba. Steps have been taken not to even sell jaggery in the village as Gudumba is made with jaggery. Santosh fought tirelessly in his life against the ban on gudumba. As a result of his struggle, he was elected the State Founding President of the Gudumba Vyatireka Porata Samiti. Following his appointment as the State Founding President of the Gudumba Vyatireka Porata Samiti, Santosh issued a memorandum stating that he would take strict action against the ban on Gudumba.

He has participated in the 1000 Cars Program and went to Delhi with his Uncle TRS Leader Kula Janardhan, brother, Water Resources Department Chairman V.Prakash.

He fought on farmers’ suicides and held dharnas and rastarokos to stop their suicides. He even went to jail during the agitation. He went on Hunger Strike for farmers.

K.Keshav Rao invited Santosh into the Congress party wearing a scarf. But Santosh rejoined TRS the next day after joining the Congress party. He rejoined the TRS party under the auspicious of V.Prakash.

He becomes Bahujana Rajya Samiti President and currently serving in the position.

Career as Chairman of SMC Model School:

From 1992-1996, For the bright future of the students, Santosh worked as a Lecturer at Govt Junior College in Govindraopet Mandal for 4 years without expecting anything in return also told free lessons to students at Chalvai high School from 1996-2000.

He was appointed and worked as Chairman of SMC Model School for two terms also worked at ZP high school as School Chairman for two terms.

Santosh has done cultural programs at the state level. He took part in a Major Program with Ammo Bomma heroine. Volleyball tournaments are organized with the aim of taking students forward in sports. In recognition of his dedication, the party officials chose him as Kakatiya Volley Ball Youth Association President.

Santosh’s Service during the Covid Crisis:

-As a responsible TRS Leader Santhosh gave his contribution even during the pandemic.

-During the Pandemic Period, he distributed fruits, food packets, and water bottles to the road siders and also distributed blankets to them.

-He provided food and rice bags to the migrants and also contributed to them financially.

-Provided annadhanam program to the Police, Municipal, front-line workers who served a lot during the corona crisis.

-Conducted awareness programs on the maintenance of Physical distance and following precautionary measures to prevent the epidemic in Corona.

-He financially helped covid victims by providing vitamin tablets, masks, Sanitizers, and fruits.

-Santhosh put his effort to serve people even during the covid second wave.

-He distributed vegetables and fruits to the village people and needy people.

-Awareness camps and seminars were organized on the Covid-19 vaccine and about the effects of the virus.

-The area infected with the coronavirus has been declared a red zone and people have been given proper precautions and instructions.

-Delivered food, supplements for the covid victims by home delivery.
