Rathnapuram Padma

Rathnapuram Padma is an Indian Politician of TRS and Town Mahila President of Bhongir Village in Bhongir Mandal at Yadadri Bhuvanagiri District in the Indian State of Telangana.

Childhood and Education:

On the 01st of August 1970, Rathnapuram Padma was born to a couple Mr. and Mrs. Rathnapuram Shankar(Late), raised in the village of Bhongir at Yadadri Bhuvanagiri  District in the Indian State of Telangana.

Padma acquired her 7th Standard from Zilla Parishad High School at Bhongir, Telangana.

A career in Politics:

In 1983, Padma began her political career by joining the Telugu Desam Party (TDP) and continued rendering services to the people of TDP.

Padma was a sincere TDP Party Activist right from her joining and propagating its principles from the beginning. The policies and ideals of the party and the vision of our great leader, former Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh, have deeply attracted her. She was immensely inspired by the unique Schemes Nara Chandra Babu Naidu introduced.

She was designated as the District Mahila Telugu Leader of Yadadri Bhuvanagiri from TDP to serve the people and tackle the issues raised by executing her tasks effectively and adhering to the party’s policies and guidelines.

Her ongoing dedication and genuine attention gained her the elected position of  District Welfare Committee Member of Yadadri Bhuvanagiri. She has since served the welfare of society by carrying out her duties correctly and by the rules and regulations.

In 2014, Padma contested for the honorable Position of 13th Ward Councilor for Bhongir, but the position has been vacant due to a minor difference of 8 votes.

Later, In 2014, Padma Switched from TDP to Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS) as She was highly inspired by the party founder Kalvakuntla Chandrashekar Rao’s sense of work during the Telangana Movement.

She exposed her leadership skills by serving as the Party Activist and working all the time for the welfare of humankind comprehensively by citing the code of conduct and disciplinary issues.

Her everlasting dedication and genuine effort earned him the Town Mahila President of Bhongir in 2014; since then, She has worked continuously for the people, considered their welfare, and garnered the utmost adoration of the people.

From the moment she was given the position till now, she has been using all her resources for the people, pursuing her happy life of public welfare, and briefly outlining and following the rules and regulations for the betterment of the party and the interest of the people.

Telangana Movement:

Padma was a Telangana Activist. During Telangana Movement, i.e., from 2004-2014, Padma played an active role and fought to create a new state, Telangana, from the pre-existing condition of Andhra Pradesh in India.

She set up a Vanta Varpu during the period of Rasta Roko and in programs of Sakula Jamula Samme, and many more dharnas and rallies were held in continuous movement.

She participated in many social Programs and was involved in Million March, Bike Rallies, and Dharan’s to form Telangana as a separate State.

Party Activities:

• She set up and engaged in every Mandal level and Village level meeting at her own cost and delivered speeches by motivating the youngsters and the upcoming leaders.
• She was briefing the people on the welfare Schemes introduced by the government to uplift the backward classes through a mobilization Program.
• Padma has performed many social activities in the village, such as providing food to the Old aged and Orphan Children, Mineral water to the Villagers.
• She carries out her responsibilities while looking after the welfare of the people living in the village and zone by clearing the issues related to Water, drainage, and every minute problem to the individual.
• She helped the old and poor people in the village by providing the bare essentials to them for survival and also assisted them during financial crises.

Social Activities:

• If somebody passed away during the Corona period, the Padma and the party officials conducted cremation in the community.
• Padma thanked the police personnel for giving food packets to the police personnel despite their constant hard work for the welfare of the people during the corona crisis.
• Money was donated to the families of the poor during the wedding to support their families financially. She assisted the death-affected family financially for their survival.
• Padma expanded her efforts by supporting poor individuals who have been badly affected by the assassination of their families and by providing a set sum for the well-being of death-stricken families.
• She Participated in the Village development activities in the village like laying CC Roads, Digging Borewells, Putting up Street Lights, Clearance Drainage systems, and Solving water Problems.
• Conducted the Annadhanam Program, which gave food to many people in her community and satisfied their needs.
• She extended her services by assisting poor people who are deeply affected by the assassination of their families by donating a certain amount for their well-being.
• She expanded her efforts by supporting poor individuals who have been badly affected by the assassination of their families, as well as by providing a set sum for the well-being of death-stricken families.
• Conducted many party meetings and development activities for community development. She stood up for the poor and ensured the development of welfare.
• By notifying the issues in the village, She solved many problems and gave Pensions like -Widow Pensions,old-age pensions, and Handicapped Pensions, and also dispensed White Ration Cards in the town.
• During her reign, roads were constructed as part of the colony’s socioeconomic development, and damaged roads were repaired as part of the program.
• A free health Camp and Blood Donation camp have been conducted under the auspicious National Leaders Birth Anniversary in the areas of the weaker section.

Pandemic Activities

• The pandemic had a devastating effect on people’s life. During the Covid crisis, it was challenging for regular people to stay alive.
• During the reign of Corona, She provided the less fortunate with rice bags and other essentials in the form of donations.
• During the Pandemic Period, She handed out fruit, meal packets, and water bottles to the people living by the roadsides. In addition, She provided free blankets to those individuals. She donated monetarily to the cause and provided the migrants with food and rice bags.
• Throughout the crisis, She responded selflessly, supporting those in need and offering special attention to those afflicted by the lockdown. Face masks, hand sanitizers, and lunches were handed to the least fortunate, as well as cash assistance.
• Even after the second wave of the covid infection, Padma continued to put her efforts into Helping other individuals.
• The residents of the village, as well as others who were in need, received vegetables and fruits from him. The Covid-19 vaccination and the consequences of the virus were the subjects of awareness campaigns at camps and seminars.
• The region contaminated with the coronavirus has been designated as a red zone, and residents have been informed of the necessary safety measures and precautions to take.
• The Covid Immunization Drive was organized in response to Prime Minister Modi’s plea to increase awareness among the general population about the need to acquire a free corona vaccination.
