Rasamayi Balakishan

Rasamayi Balakishan is the MLA of Manakondur Constituency, Karimnagar Dist. He was born on 15-05-1965, Raorukula village in Siddipet Mandal, Telangana to Rajaiah and Maisamma. Both his parents were illiterate.

He Completed M.A in 2005 at Potti Sriramulu Telugu University Hyderabad. He is the Film Producer and Director at Rasamayi films.

His family was popular for their Folk Songs and sappy instrument. He came to be known by the folk song troupe, Rasmayi, who became part of his name.

He is a Singer(Artist), Poet, and Political Activist. He is married to Razia Sultana. They have two sons, Amith and Adarsh.

In 1995, Rasamayi Balakishan started his Journey with the TRS and worked as a teacher, and the balladeer was part of the cultural troupe of TRS the Party.

He is the Founder and President of the Telangana Dhoom Dhaam Committee since 2002, one of the mini-cultural outfits of the Statehood movement.

He often engages the audience and entertains with his local folk songs and dance. He is widely performing at the Telangana movement events in 2009–2010.

He was appointed as the Chairman of the Cultural Department. He heads the cultural troupe for the formation of a separate Telangana state.

From 2014-2018, He was Served as an MLA from the TRS party from Manakondur constituency in Karimnagar in the 2014 General Elections.

He is highly respected for his oratorial skills in the state assembly, and actively participates in debates with the opposition.

In 2018, He was elected as MLA of Manakondur Constituency, Karimnagar Dist from the TRS Party.

Recent Activities:

• Honorable Manakondur MLA Rasamayi Balakishan Garu inspected the construction works of the Arundhati marriage hall in Mahatma Nagar of Manakondur constituency.
• Respected MLA Rasamayi Garu has given an insurance check to a TRS activist named Orupula Rajasekhar of Gollapalli village of Illantakunta Mandal.
• MLA Rasamayi Garu launched central lighting in the bejjanki crossing. CC roads and various development works have been started in     Narsimlapalli village. Many development works have been started in Gundaram village.
• Respected MLA Rasamayi Balakishan Garu spoke in the condolence resolution of Dubbaka MLA Ramalinga Reddy who died recently.
• Manakondur MLA Sri Rasamayi Balakishan Garu distributed Kalyanalakshmi checks at the Bejjanki Mandal Parishat office in the Manakondur constituency.
