Ramji Medisetty

Ramji Medisetty is an Indian Politician and current Joint Secretary of District Commerce Department, Visakhapatnam.

EARLY LIFE & EDUCATION-

On 30th October 1985, Ramji was born to Apparao and Sathyalatha. He was raised in Anandapuram village.

Ramji received his Board of Secondary Education at Zilla Parishad high school, located at Reddupalli.

PROFESSIONAL LIFE –

He began his professional career soon after completing his studies. Ramji started his own Mobile Store Business. He has been running Sri Shiridi Sai Cell Corner at Anandapuram since 2007.

CAREER IN POLITICS –

Ramji always had the utmost zeal and enthusiasm to serve and help needy people. As a young boy, he offered his services voluntarily to the public. In 2009, Ramji started his Political Journey with the Praja Raajyam Party(PRP), founded and headed by Mega Star Chiranjeevi. He worked as an Active Member of the party. Ramji no longer served in the PRP party. In 2011, he switched over to the Yuvajana Shramika Rythu Congress Party(YSRCP).

He is an Ardent Supporter of our Former chief minister YS. Rajashekar Reddy and our beloved CM YS. Jagan Mohan Reddy. He respects their views and adheres to their practices.

Ramji has a close relationship with Minister Avanthi Srinivasarao, ZPTC Korada Venkat Rao.

He enthusiastically engaged in the party’s activities by contributing to every event as soon as he entered and established a mark for himself within a short period. He is considered a master strategist for his party. Ramji, who contributed significantly to the party, and people’s welfare, was recognized as a Party Activist by YSRCP officials.

In 2011, Ramji and YSRCP leaders participated in Samaikyandhra Movement and staged dharnas and protest programs as part of the Movement.

In acknowledgement of his exceptional service and pure effort for the party, the party officials elevated Ramji to the honorary designation of President of Anandapuram Mandal Commerce Department, Visakhapatnam district, in 2012.

In 2023, the party headquarters has appointed Ramji Medisetty as the District Commercial Department’s Joint Secretary, demonstrating his dedication and expertise in the field. With this new position, he is given significant oversight responsibilities over the commercial operations of the district. His appointment demonstrates the party’s recognition of his leadership qualities and expertise, ensuring the department’s efficient administration and strategic decision-making. It is anticipated that Ramji Medisetty’s tenure as Joint Secretary will bring positive changes and enhancements to the district’s commercial sector, fostering regional growth and development.

He took part in “Gadapa Gadapa ki YSR” program, he made people aware of YSRCP schemes such as Jagananna Amma Vodi, Jagananna Chedodu, Jagananna Vidya Kanuka, Illa Pattalu, YSR Arogya scheme, YSR Bima, YSR Pension Kanuka, YSR Rythu Bharosa, YSR Sunna Vaddi Pathakam, YSR Vahana Mitra etc. He made the Navaratnalu scheme available to everyone. Ramji contributed to Special Status and participated in Y.S Jagan’s and Y.S Sharmila’s Padayatra.

YSRCP Party Activities-

• Ramji has been celebrating CM YS. Jagan Mohan Reddy’s birthday every year, he used to conduct blood donation camps and fruit distribution to the underprivileged.
• He has been commemorating YS. Rajashekar Reddy’s birth and death anniversaries by organizing social events in his honor on those dates.
• He made the welfare schemes known to everyone through the Volunteer System.
• He used to conduct awareness programs, explain the welfare schemes to the people, and bring awareness among the people.
• On the occasion of YS. Jagan’s victory as CM, Ramji and YSRCP leaders organized cultural programs and celebrated on a grand scale.
• He worked for the victory of party candidates in MPTC and Sarpanch elections in 2013, for the triumph of MLA and MP in 2014, and for MLA candidate Avanti Srinivas Rao in 2019.
• Ramji is working intending to win YS. Jagan Mohan Reddy again as CM in the upcoming 2024 elections with a massive majority.

Activities Recently Performed-

• YSRCP leaders of Anandapuram Sarpanch Chandaka Lakshmi, Suribabu, YSR youth leaders Shinagam Rama Rao, Chandaka Appalaswamy, Medishetti Ramji met Honorary Ministers Avanti Srinivasa Rao who were the chief guests at the Dwakra Women’s YSR Aasara meeting.
• Anandapuram Mandal Commerce Department President Medisetty Ramji has met State Industry Investments and Commerce Minister Gudivada Amarnath and discussed on various issues.
• Shaik Basha has been nominated as the MPTC candidate of Anandapuram co-option. This nomination paper was given to the Election Officer and MPDO in the presence of MP Majji Venkata Rao. Mandal Commerce Department President Ranmi and YSRCP leaders participated in the program.
• Anandpuram Mandal Commerce Department President Ramji has met and expressed birthday wishes to Former Ministers President of Visakha District YSR Congress Party, Bhimunipatnam Legislator Avanti Srinivasa Rao.
• On the occasion of the 12th birth anniversary of YS. Rajashekhar Reddy, Hon’ble Minister Avanti Srinivasa Rao and YSRCP leaders unveiled the statue of YS Rajasekhar Reddy in Gambhiram and paid tributes at his statue.

Pandemic Services-

• Ramji rendered his service to the Anandapuram people even during the corona which terrorized the whole country.
• He distributed food and rice bags to the migrants and also contributed to them financially. He donates rice bags, vegetables, and medicine to covid victims who are suffering from covid and cannot go out to fetch food.
• He also supported the poor financially by providing essential goods for those who could not find employment or food due to the lockdown.
• Provided Annadhanam program to the Police, Municipal, front-line workers who served a lot during the corona crisis. Conducted awareness programs on the maintenance of Physical distance and following precautionary measures to prevent the epidemic in Corona.
• Ramji put effort even during the Covid second wave.
• He distributed vegetables and fruits to the village people and needy people.
• Awareness camps and seminars were organized on the Covid-19 vaccine and the effects of the virus. Organized awareness programs on precautions to be taken to prevent covid and said no need to panic.
• The area infected with the coronavirus has been declared a red zone and people have been given proper precautions and instructions.
