Rahul Social Service Society

Jogada Uma Maheshwara Rao is the Founder and Chairman of the Rahul Social Service Society from Palakollu, West Godavari district, Andhra Pradesh. He is a person who created an unforgettable impact on people with his Excellent Service.

Early Life and Education:

He was born on 12-06-1967 to Krishna Mohana Rao and Varalaxmi and was raised in Palakollu.

In 1983, He completed his schooling at Subhash Chandra Bose high school, and in 1986 he completed Intermediate in Chamber junior college, Palakollu. Uma Maheshwara Rao attained his Graduation(Degree) with BA in 1989.

A career in Rahul Social Service Society Organization:

The Rahul Social Service Society was founded by Mr. Jogada Uma Maheswara Rao and registered under Non-Profit Service Organization, under Reg. No.336/2006, on 10-10-2006Rahul Social Service Society, was established with the guiding principle that “To Serve Human Being is to Service to god Himself” The organization’s primary goal is to help those who are in need. Rahul Social Service Society also runs Old Age Home and NCLP School National Child Labor Project. It educates 50 students below 14 years of age, issues a stipend of Rs 150/- to each student, and also provides a mid-day meal.

Uma Maheshwara Rao officially took charge as Founder and Chairman of Rahul Social Service Society.

• The organization will complete 15 years on October 10. The Rahul Social Service Society has a logo.
  Every year a new logo is designed with a goal and determination and launched by a celebrity.
  – 10th-year logo launched by Dasari Narayana Rao.
  – 11th-year logo launched by Local Leader.
  – 12th-year logo was launched by Deputy Chief Minister Alla Nani.
  – 13th-year logo was launched by Raghu Rama Raju.
  – 14th-year logo was launched by Deputy Chief Minister, Minister of Health, Family Welfare, and Medical Education Alla Nani.
• The Rahul Social Service Society was established for the welfare of the people and moves forward with public support.
• He provided Food, dresses, and medical facilities through the Organization.
• State Government officials of the Department of Welfare of the Elderly recognized the services rendered by the State Government to the Elderly and presented a certificate of appreciation to Jogada Umamaheswara Rao, President of Rahul Social Service Organization in Guntur.

Rahul Old Age Home:

In 2010, Uma Maheshwara Rao Organized Rahul’s Old Age home. At present more than 30 members are there. He provided adequate food, water, shelter, clothing, and health care through the Rahul old age home organization.

He has celebrated every occasion and festival in the old age home. All persons are treated equally regardless of age, or gender. The organization has great feedback from old age people.

Assistance by Uma Maheshwara Rao on behalf of the Rahul Social Service Society:

• On the occasion of the 112th birth anniversary of Mother Teresa at the municipal school, Jogada Umamaheswara Rao, President of Rahul Social Service Society, paid tributes by placing floral wreaths on her portrait. On this occasion, packets of fruits and biscuits were distributed to 80 students. Pradana teachers of the school Raipudi Bhavani Prasad, Chairman of Venkateswara Swami Devasthanam Jogi Venkateswara Rao, and others participated in the program.
• Some youths Seelam Shetty Nanchari Babu, Chinthapalli Naga Madusudana Reddy, Eluri Siva, and Chitturi Ramanjaneyulu, informed Jogada Umamaheswara Rao that an old lady from an unknown village has been lying on the roadside near Katam statue in Palakollu for the past few days. Jogada Umamaheswara Rao, chairman of Rahul Social Service Organization, took the old woman to his Rahul Social Service Organization old age home and admitted her to the ashram.
• Jogada Umamaheswara Rao, President of Rahul Social Service Society, presented a financial contribution of 2000 for college uniform to middle-class merit student Surya who is studying MBA.
• Jogada Umamaheswara Rao met Rahul Old Age Home people and distributed milk packets and basic necessities. The program was conducted under the patronage of Mala Mahanadu State President Shri Nalli Rajesh. Karni Jogaiah, Nagesh, Kolukumatla Veeraswamy, Sri Nalli Jayaraju, Sri Tokala Janardhan, Sarala, and others participated in the program.

Social Service:

• Uma Maheshwara Rao has been doing many social activities in the industrial villages around Palakollu since 2006. He blends in with children, the elderly, and everyone, regardless of age and caste.
• Uma Maheshwara Rao planted plants and tells to the children about the importance of plants. He ran Child Labour School.
• In the country, change and development among the people are possible only with higher education. Uma Maheshwara Rao ran a school with 50 students for 3 years with the intention that students should not be illiterate due to poverty. He provided Uniforms, Books, and Food for them.
• Jogada Umamaheswara Rao, Chairman of Maitri Mutual Aid Co-operative Society Limited, has given a loan of Rs. 1,50,000/- (Rs. 150,000) to the ‘Ruby’ Savings Group formed with five women from Palakollu for their family needs.
• Rahul Social Service Organization conducted a free training program on loom work for Dwakra women in Jinnoor village in 2014.
• Rahul Social Service Organization President Jogada Umamaheswara Rao, who is conducting self-employment free training programs for Dwakra women in every village in the Palakollu constituency, was felicitated by Dwakra women in Penumadam village.

→ The LeadersPage organization has issued a certificate of COVID WARRIOR to Rahul Social Service Society Chairman Jogada Uma Maheshwara Rao in acknowledgment of his efforts during the Covid-19 lockdown. Jogada Umamaheswara Rao received the certificate from Zilla Parishad Chairman Mr. Kavuru Srinivas, Mr. Govindu Rajulu Naidu of Palakollu ZPTC, Mr. Chitturi Kanaka Mahalakshmi of Palakollu MPP, and others participated.

Service During Pandemic Covid-19:

• In the wake of the lockdown due to COVID-19, Jogada Umamaheswara Rao went to the homes of 30 poor priests in a total of 14 villages in Doddipatla, Burugupalli, Ilapakurru, and Lakshmipalam in the Yalamanchili zone and handed over 5 kg of rice and essentials.
  
• Jogada Umamaheswara Rao, president of Rahul Social Service Organization, is an ideal role model for many, playing a leading role in serving the ruling and surrounding areas in the wake of the lockdown. Meal packets and Pulihora parcels were distributed to the daily laborers in Palakollu Chinapeta as well as to the beggars at the Railway Gate Center at the Big Gopuram and Deshalamma Temple.
• Jogada Umamaheswara Rao, President of Rahul Social Service Organization, distributed essential items, fruits, and nutritious food to the police who worked hard to protect the people day and night.
• Uma Maheswara Rao distributed masks and sanitizers as part of the prevention of the pandemic COVID-19.
• Sprayed Hydrogen Chloride solution in the total village.
• Provided free food service to the migrants, and arranges buses to go to their villages.
• Organized awareness programs to prevent Covid-19.
