Ragula Raju(Sathyanarayana)

Ragula Raju popularly known as Sathyanarayana is an Indian Politician belonging to the TRS Party. He is a Prominent TRS Leader with plenty of experience in the Political field. He is currently working as the District Organizing Secretary of Jagtial, from the state of Telangana.

Early Life and Education:

He was born on 03rd March 1987 in Shathrajpalli village. His parents were Hanumandlu and Ramadevi.

Raju obtained his Board of Secondary Education at Tapovan high school, located at Jagtial. He earned his Intermediate from Vani junior college in 2007.

A career in Politics:

Raju was always full of zeal and enthusiasm for serving and assisting those in need. He volunteered his services to the public as a young boy. His interest in social service led him into politics.

He officially entered Politics through the Telangana Rashtra Samiti(TRS). As soon as he joined the party he worked as an Active Leader by taking part in every activity such as Election Campaigns, Party Joining Programs, Party Meetings, etc.

Telangana Movement:

The Telangana Movement refers to a movement for the creation of a new state, Telangana, from the pre-existing state of Andhra Pradesh in India. The new state corresponds to the Telugu-speaking portions of the erstwhile princely state of Hyderabad. After several years of protest and agitation, the central government, under the United Progressive Alliance, decided to bifurcate the existing Andhra Pradesh state, and on 07-February-2014, the Union Cabinet unilaterally cleared the bill for the creation of Telangana. Lasting for almost a decade, this has been one of the most long-lasting movements in South India.

Raju played an active role during the late 2000s Telangana Separate State Movement spearheaded by now-CM, K.Chandrashekar Rao. He took part in Chalo Hyderabad, Vanta Varpu, dharnas, rasta rokos, protest programs, bike rallies as part of the Telangana Movement.

Raju contributed significantly to the Party’s development by participating in every event. He was elected a Party Activist by Party Officials who acknowledged his abilities to assist the public in whatever way feasible at any given time as a social worker and party worker.

As a result of Raju’s continuous dedication to the improvement and growth of the Party, the Party Authorities promoted him as Karimnagar District Organizing Secretary. He executed his obligations and responsibilities as District Organizing Secretary with the intention of never losing trust in people.

Raju was an Iconic Leader who strived for the development of the Party and for the welfare of the people. He always made him available for the people of Jagtial irrespective of time.

Later on, in 2019, Raju was appointed and took charge as District Organizing Secretary of Jagtial, from the state of Telangana.

TRS Party Activities:

• TRS activists protest against Vijayawada MP Lagadapati Rajagopal’s obstruction of the formation of a separate Telangana state. They said they would repel any attempt to obstruct Telangana. They called on the public representatives of the Telangana region to unite for the formation of a Telangana state. Councilors Devendra Nayak and Srinivas were present on the occasion.
• Vijayawada MP Lagadapati Rajagopal has lodged a complaint with the TRS party leaders at the police station alleging insult to the national flag. According to the complaint, Rajagopal held the national flag and went to the mortuary to disrespect the flag. On this, SI Hariprasad said that action would be taken on the complaint of the Teresa leaders.
  
  
• A Large Scale Rally was organized under the auspices of Auto Union in Jagtial in support of Telangana. Under the patronage of Division President Panyala Srinivas, the rally was organized with autos at Gollapalli Road and the new bus stand in the town. Division Presidential Secretaries Rajeshwar Rai, Ragula Parushuram and Dontula Srinivas were present in the program.
• Local TRS leaders in the town staged a Large-Scale Motor Cycle Rally demanding the success of the “Amarana Nirahara Dhiksha” initiated by Telangana Rashtra Samithi(TRS) party founder Chandrasekhar Rao. Starting from the bazaar area, the motorcycle rally went through the main streets of the town.
  

Activities undertaken by Raju being a Responsible Leader:

• Raju was vital in resolving People’s difficulties. He protested the injustice that had been done to the people.
• He has been organized Haritha Haram and Swachh Bharath programs and casts plants on the premises of Jagtial as a part of Environment protection.
• Raju has been donating food and clothes in old age homes also assisted him financially.
• He set up Chalivendram in the village during the summer season
• Raju along with BSP Party leaders made movements against injustice
• He has been organizing birth and, death anniversaries of freedom fighter’s every year and paid tributes at their portrait
• Raju and TRS leaders have demanded that the government reduce petrol and diesel prices.
• He distributed food and clothes to the Orphan Children and helped them by donating a certain amount whenever required.
• Conducted many party meetings and development activities for community development.

Raju’sEffort During the Pandemic:

• He provided financial and humanitarian support to those who were impacted by the lockdown during the first and second waves of Corona. During the crisis, and responded with compassion, aiding people who were in distress and offering further assistance to those who were harmed by the locking down.
• Raju came forward to assist people who had been affected by the lockdown by giving vegetables and fruits to villages, the homeless, and Municipality employees while following the procedures in place and distributing Covid Kits to the members who were afflicted with the appropriate sickness while in their home quartine.
• An awareness demonstration was performed to raise awareness about social distance and the need of taking precautionary steps in an attempt to eliminate the Corona Epidemic from occurring.
• When the coronavirus was finally exterminated, sodium hypochlorite solution was sprayed across the whole village to ensure that the villagers were not exposed to any harmful effects.
• The Covid Immunization Drive was organized in response to Prime Minister Modi’s plea order to increase awareness among the general population about the need of acquiring a free corona vaccination.
