Rachamallu Siva Prasad Reddy

Rachamallu Siva Prasad Reddy is the Member of the Legislative Assembly(MLA) of Proddatur Constituency from the YSRCP. He was born in 1967 to Siva Sankar Reddy (Late) in Rameswaram, Proddatur Town, YSR District, Andhra Pradesh.

He has completed a Bachelor of Arts From SCNR Govt. Degree College, Proddatur University from 1984-1987. Basically, he hails from an Agricultural family. He was the Leader of the Auto union before coming into Politics.

He started his political journey with the Indian National Congress(INC) party. From 1986-1987, he selected as Student Union Chairman. In 1998, He worked as Municipal Councilor to Proddatur Municipality.

He was appointed as Municipal Vice Chairman, later he elected as Municipal Chairman he worked as Municipal Chairman for 6 months.

He joined the YSRCP(Yuvajana Sramika Rythu Congress Party). In 2014, in Andhra Pradesh Legislative Elections, he was won the post of Member of Legislative Assembly(MLA) with the highest majority of 93,866 votes from the YSRCP.

Siva Prasad Reddy served as Town President from the YSRCP, Proddatur. In 2019, in Andhra Pradesh Legislative Elections, he was won the post of Member of Legislative Assembly(MLA) with the highest majority of 107,941 votes from the Proddatur Constituency from the YSRCP party.

Recent Activities:

  • MLA Shiva Prasad launches Jagananna Education Gift Program at the local Anibicent Municipal School.
  • Proddatur MLA Shiva Prasad cut the cake and participated in the celebrations on the occasion of the completion of the first year of the 46th Ward Secretariat under Proddatur Municipality.
  • The YSR scheme was launched by MLA Shiva Prasad At the Proddatur Municipal Office on 12-08-2020.
