Pusala Pullarao

 

Pusala Pullarao is an Indian politician belonging to the YSRCP Party. He was the Former Village President of Thorraguntapalem, Jaggayyapeta Mandal. He was born on 4th June 1975 in Gumpena village. His parents were Jaganmohan Rao and Dhanamma.

Born and Education:

Pullarao earned his Board of Secondary Education at ZP high school, located at Yerragunta. He completed ITI from DM Civil Govt College, Kothagudem.

A career in Politics:

Pullarao had the utmost zeal and enthusiasm to serve and help the people. As a young boy, he offered his services voluntarily to the public. His pure attention to serving people led him into Politics.

He officially entered into Politics and has started his Political Journey as a Member of the Indian National Congress(INC) party which is ruling under the leadership of Sonia Gandhi.

As soon as he joined the party, Pullarao established himself as a Public Leader by contributing to the party’s welfare programs. Party officials identified him as a Party Worker and a Social Worker in recognition of his efforts and hard work.

He switches over to the Yuvajana Shramika Rythu Congress Party(YSRCP) after the Congress party merged into YSRCP.

He become an Party Activist and took part in “Gadapa Gadapa ki YSR” program, he made people aware of YSRCP schemes such as Jagananna Amma Vodi, Jagananna Chedodu, Jagananna Vidya Kanuka, Illa Pattalu, YSR Arogya scheme, YSR Bima, YSR Pension Kanuka, YR Rythu Bharosa, YSR Sunna Vaddi Pathakam, YSR Vahana Mitra etc. He made the Navaratnalu scheme available to everyone. He gave his contributions to Samaikyandhra Movement, for Special Status, also took part in Y.S Jagan’s, Y.S Sharmila’s Padayatra.

Pullarao was appointed and took charge as Village President of Thorraguntapalem from the YSRCP he held the position from 2015-2018.

The people of Thorraguntapalem chose him as Lorry Owners Association Vice President. He held the position for 5 years. He becomes Treasurer of the Lorry Owners Association and served in the designation for 2 years.

Pullarao’s wife Sitharavamma, who saw her husband’s fame and prestige in politics, also wanted to get into politics. With the motivation of her husband, she contested and was elected as 7th Ward Councilor from Jaggayyapeta.

Activities carriedout by Pullarao Sitharavamma in their respective reigns:

• On the occasion of the completion of the year by setting up “Ration Distribution Vehicles at Home”. Andhra Pradesh state government whip Jaggayyapeta legislator Shri Samine Udayabhanu, was anointed to paint Chief Minister Jaganmohan Reddy under the auspices of Ration MDU operators. The event was attended by Pusala Pulla Rao, Chilukuri Sreenu, Namburi Ravi, Katari Haribabu, YSRCP leaders and activists.
• State government whip and Jaggayyapeta legislator Saminee Udayabha visited the submerged areas in Torraguntapalem in Jaggayyapeta town due to the incessant heavy rains caused by low pressure. Ysrcp leaders Pusala Pullaru looked after the people and alerted them to the relief efforts they needed.
• 73rd Republic Day Celebrations held at Torraguntapalem Secretariat. On the occasion of Republic Day, the student was presented with gifts by the students. The event was attended by 7th Ward Councilor Pusala Pulla Rao Sitaravamma, Chilukur Srinivasa Rao, Balaswamy, YSRCP leaders and others.
  
• Inspired by Sardar Samineni Udayabhanu, ysrcp leaders and former village president Pullaru repaired the road leading to Torraguntapalem Muthialammagudi with jcb and dozer with their own funds.
• State government whip, Jaggayyapeta legislator Samineni Udayabhanu, former village president Pullaru, and ysrcp leaders laid flowers and paid tributes to the late Chief Minister YS Rajasekhar Reddy on his 71st birthday at Torraguntapalem village near Jaggayyapeta town.
• Former Village President Pullarao donated Sanitary bottles, gloves, and masks to the secretariat staff and volunteers who were doing their job well by raising awareness about the corona disease in the corona catastrophic situation.

Service During the Pandemic Covid-19:

-Pullarao served even during the Pandemic time. He distributes Covid kits to the village people.

-Former Village President Pullarao gave awareness on Corona Disease and Prevention Measures imparted to the people of Thorraguntapalam Secretariat staff and volunteers
-He provided essential commodities, Masks, Sanitizers to the village and poor people. Provided food packets, water bottles to the migrants, arranges buses to go to their villages.
-Conducted awareness programs to prevent Covid-19.
-Gave financial assistance to Covid-19 victims. He provided free food service to the municipal, police, front-line workers who worked a lot during Pandemic Covid-19.
-Distributes Rice, Vegetables to the Masks, Sanitizers to the Covid victims, and to the village people.-
-He says covid-19 can be conquered with courage and corona victims should not lose courage.
