Purelly Srikanth Reddy

Purelly Srikanth Reddy is an Indian Politician of the TRS Party and Vice Sarpanch of Gangadharipally Village of Mulugu Mandal, Siddipet District, Telangana.

CHILDHOOD AND EDUCATION:

On the 15th of August 1989, Purelly Srikanth Reddy was born to the couple Mr & Mrs Purelly Penta Reddy and raised in the Gangadharipally of Mulugu Mandal village in Siddipet District in the Indian State of Telangana.

In 2005, Srikanth Reddy acquired his Secondary Board of Education from Zilla Parishad High School at Kothur and completed his Intermediate course (CEC) in 2007 from Government Junior College at Secunderabad.

He attained his Graduation of Degree(B.Sc) from Mehaboob Degree College in Secunderabad in 2010.

As a Telangana Activist:

Srikanth Reddy was a Telangana Activist. During Telangana Movement, i.e., 2009-2010, Srikanth played an active role and fought to create a new state, Telangana, from the pre-existing condition of Andhra Pradesh in India. 

He participated in many social Programs and was involved in Million March, Bike Rallies, and Dharan’s to form Telangana as a separate State.

CAREER IN POLITICS:

Srikanth Reddy began his Political career in 2007 by joining the Telugu Desam Party(TDP) founded by N.T. Rama Rao and headed by N. Chandrababu Naidu, the former Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh.

Since the day, Srikanth Reddy joined the Party, he has served the TDP and doing his part for the betterment of society by carrying out his duties properly and following the rules and regulations of the party.

Srikanth Reddy has been representing the TDP as the Active Leader by contributing to the development of society since the day he joined the party, executing his tasks effectively and adhering to the party’s policies and guidelines.

After serving in the TDP, In the respective year, 2015, Srikanth Reddy joined the Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS) founded by Kalvakuntla Chandrashekhar Rao, the Indian politician serving as the first and current Chief Minister of Telangana.

He exposed his leadership skills by serving as the TRS Party Activist and working all the time for the welfare of humankind comprehensively.

With his constant attention and pure dedication to service in 2019, the people chose him during the local body elections as a Vice Sarpanch of Gangadharipally Village from TRS to promote the proper focus towards the need for effective and comprehensive expansion in people by doing his part to overcome the hardships faced by the people.

Since the beginning of his career as a politician, he has worked extensively for the success of the city, fully committed to the party’s and society’s prosperity and devoting passionate service to society via the roles given to him.

Party Activities:

• Srikanth Reddy was accommodating in campaigning for the contesting candidate( Sarpanch, Vice Sarpanch, MPTC) during the elections and was the main reason for the candidate winning the contest.
• He participated very enthusiastically during the election, briefly explained the party’s rules to every voter, and worked hard for the party’s victory.
• He has constantly been fighting against anti-people decisions of the central and state governments and has staged many protests and dharnas.
• He is in complete opposition to the state government repealing new agricultural laws and other beneficial elements that will serve the survival of farmers.
• He was briefing the people on the welfare schemes introduced by the government for the upliftment of the backward classes through a mobilization Program.
• An awareness seminar was organized on behalf of the party in the village and the zone to brief the people on the welfare schemes, and pamphlets were distributed to give them brief information.
• Many districts- and State-level party development programs were carried out in the village for the party’s growth and organized Party Membership Programs.

Services rendered as a Vice Sarpanch:

• With the assistance of the state government, Srikanth Reddy laid a foundation for the development of the village by laying the CC Roads, Clearance of the drainage system, paving BT Roads, Distribution of Dustbins, and Development of the Village Park.
• He financially supported the poor during the disaster and assisted in money for the wedding and funerals in the village.
• Srikanth Reddy provided employment opportunities for around 10 graduate students and distributed study material to the primary school students.
• He fought to sanction the BT Roads from Annasagar village to Gangadharipally Village. He was finally appreciated by the villagers for his hard work behind the scenes of the road construction in the town.
• For laying the road from Shivappa Canel to Mondikunta lake, Srikanth Reddy donated a certain sum of money to the Municipal Corporation.

Social Activities:

• As a part of the development of the village, Srikanth donated five lakh rupees for the construction of the Lord Shiva Temple in Gangadhari Village.
• Srikanth Reddy provided driving licenses to around 20 members of the youth.
• He supported the active leaders of the TRS Party in all aspects by providing financial and humanitarian assistance to the people.
• For the development of the school, laying of marble stone in the school, painting of the walls, renovation of toilets, completely renovating the village school.

Services rendered during the pandemic:

• During Corona’s first and second waves, he gave financial and humanitarian assistance to individuals affected by the lockdown. During the crisis, they reacted compassionately, assisting those in need and providing further support to those affected by the lockdown.
• He has been giving vital supplies to aid water-scarce communities due to the social distance created by the Covid-19 restrictions.
• When the coronavirus was ultimately eradicated, a sodium hypochlorite solution was sprayed throughout the hamlet to guarantee that the people experienced no adverse consequences.
• The Covid Immunization Drive was created in response to Prime Minister Modi’s call to raise public awareness about obtaining a free corona immunisation.
• A door-to-door survey was conducted during the pandemic to promote awareness about the virus and offer measures to be taken.
• Srikanth Reddy rushed a person affected by Coronavirus to the hospital to provide him with a better treatment to cure the disease.
• Srikanth Reddy arranged Lunch for the frontline workers and Police officers during the period of lockdown.
