Pulluri Upender

Pulluri Upender is the Sarpanch of Seethanagaram from the Congress Party. He was born on 25-04-1990 to Ramaiah & Lingamma in Seethanagaram Village of Munagala Mandal, Suryapet.

Upender has completed his Graduation from Ambedkar Open University. From 2018-2019, Upender has Attained his Post Graduation M.A from K.R.R Govt College in Kodad.

Upender started his political journey in 2006 with the Students’ Federation of India(SFI) and worked as a Student Leader. In 2008, Upender was the Coordinator of MRPS(Madiga Reservation Porata Samiti) in Munagala Mandal.

Later on, Upender joined the Telangana Rashtra Samithi(TRS) Party in 2014. He was the Active Member of the TRS Party.

From 2016-2017, Upender was played a key role in KNPS( Kula Nirmoolana Porata Samithi ) for 3years and also participated in DSU(Democratic Students’ Union).

Upender participated in Telangana Movement,  Strike on Sakala Janula Samme, and Rasta Roko. Upender met the KTR during the Telangana Hunger Strike in 2011.

In 2018, Upender joined the Congress Party and was the Youth Leader. In 2019, Upender contested as a Sarpanch for the First Time and won the Highest Majority Votes in Seethanagaram New Gram Panchayat from Congress Party.

Recent Activities:

• He developed villages like C.C Roads with 210M, Drainage, Street lights, Water Problems, Water Pipeline, Dumping Yard, and Smasana Vatika in his village.
• He provided services like Nursery Plantation and Roadside Plant’s plantation, Palle Prakruti Vanam in his Village. He helped the SC & ST Peoples for subsidies of Digital Current Meeters.
• Upender distributed many kits like Essential things, Masks, and sanitizer in most of the villages of Munagala Mandal during the COVID-19 Pandemic lockdown period. Upender was Provided 9 types of food & Vegetables to Poor people with the help of NRI Funds and His own Money in lockdown time.
• Upender motivated the students those who are poor and economically back. He donated money to the Every died family. Upender cleaned Neatly the village and School Grounds of Seethanagaram with the help of Ward Members & Co-ordinators.
• He involves in many of the social activities like Harithaharam, Palle Pragathi Programs, Swachh Bharath Programs & helping poor people in his village. He Provided 100 days of work and a Public Park in his Villages.
• He helped the Widows & given Asara Pensions with his money. He donated the Money to the Orphan people Trust. He conducted the Camp for Handicapped children. He participated in School Development Programme.
• He did many Social Activities. The village was sprayed with sodium hypochlorite solution. He involves in many of the social activities like Harithaharam, Palle Pragathi Programs, Swachh Bharath Programs & helping poor people in the village.
