Pratap Burri

Pratap Burri is the YSRCP Senior Leader & as State Spokesperson of Dalit JAC from YSRCP.

EARLY LIFE & EDUCATION –

He was born on 16th-June-1982 to Burri Venkatarathnam & Dhana Laxmi and raised up in Tholukodu village of Mylavaram Mandal.

He studied higher Secondary Board Examination at a distance from Leelavathi Public High School located at Mylavaram.

EARLY CAREER IN POLITICS –

He had a dream to be self-employed and self-dependent. Shortly after accomplishment of his studies Prathap highly inspired by the service rendered by the politicians. This made him fortunate as this would provide him a path to do service to more people.

In that looks he preferred to do service selflessly to the people in any situation and by extending his service and work by accepting the honorable positions. In the year 1995, Soonly Pratap began his political career by entering into the Indian National Congress Party (INC) which is ruling under the leadership of Sonia Gandhi.

He worked as an Active Member from INC for few years by discharging his duties with a code of conduct.

As his view is to Protect the castes and classes from social injustice and any form of exploitation; and Welfare of women and children. On this conclusion in the period 2002, He contested as Panchayat Board Member from Congress party in Mylavaram, and  for his diligent work the party members nominated and appointed him for the respectable designation in Mylavaram Mandal.

From the moment he was given the post till now he has been using all his resources for the people and pursuing his happy life of public welfare. He has been serving with gratitude and constantly working hard for the committed position by taking responsibility.

On the one hand, while fulfilling his political responsibilities, he increased his work ethic in 2002 by being elected as SC Cell Mandal Leader from INC Political Party. He has been served with gratitude and constantly worked hard for the committed position by taking responsibilities like Ensuring meetings that are effectively organized and minuted. Maintaining effective records and administration. Upholding the legal requirements of governing documents, charity law, company law, etc…

His efforts and proposals boosted up and in the past 2008, He confidently recontested for Panchayat Board Member from Congress party in Mylavaram, and the majority of votes made him lost.

At that moment he never stepped back for the honorable position and strongly stepped forward and has been serving constantly and working comprehensively all the time for the assigned position. He constantly looking after the village people and contributes to them with all the facilities.

In that situation, his wife inspired by his service and she never stepped back for the honorable position and strongly stepped forward and contested as Panchayat Board Member and By seeing his diligence and trustworthiness of his work, the YSRCP party, fortunately, nominated and appointed her for the respectable designation in Mylavaram with a majority of votes.

For his comprehensive commitment towards the work after the instant death of YS Rajashekar Reddy, he left over the congress party and soonly swapped his political party into the Yuvajana Sramika Rythu Congress Party (YSRCP) founded by currently designated as Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh and President of YSRCP YS Jagan Mohan Reddy. He worked as an Active member.

Since then he has been serving constantly and working comprehensively all the time for the assigned position. In the year 2013, He contested for a reputable position as Sarpanch but unluckily he lost the position from YSRCP Party in Mylavaram.

With the association of a Jupudu Prabhakar, he has been serving as a Mala Mahanadu District Spoke Person from Krishna District. Since then he is doing his part to help the people as well as work for the development of the party.

Given the efforts being made for the development of the party, the party offered him the post of Council Member in CSI Machinery from Vijayawada district to ensure that the initial and subsequent tasks ran smoothly and discharged his duties very cautious during performing the activities of the Party.

Samaikyandhra Movement:

He is a dedicated follower of YS Jagan Mohan Reddy, who Participated in the Samaikyandhra Movement to prevent the division of the state-separating the Telangana districts of the state into a separate Telangana state. During the movement, The people of Mylavaram Mandal took part and completely played a key role in the foot march (padayatra) organized by YS Jagan Mohan Reddy.

During the continuous Samaikyandhra Movement, Pratap went on a District wise padayatra against started his padayatra from Kalluru and continued his 83.3 km journey to Krishna District to prevent the division of the state-separating the Telangana districts of the state into a separate Telangana state.

Sevakula Sankshema Charitable Trust:

As there are many health issues raising up in India like- cancer, HIV-AIDS, Piles, covid and many more. Though he Coming from a poor family. Pratap constantly worked hard and persevered to established an organization to eradicate Health Issues. He worked hard to make his dreams and goals come true, and finally he is rose to the top.

Pratap set up a Non – profit service Organization called Sevakula Sankshema Welfare Charitable Trust which is located in Karimnagar District of Andhra Pradesh. Pratap is the Founder and Chair Person of the respective organization and it was registered under the Indian Trusts Act.

Their service is not only limited to the people of Karimnagar District of Andhra Pradesh State but also all over India. As soon as the Organization was founded, the Members and Volunteers began their activities by performing in a good manner as every individual is fully devoting their valuable time to provide services.

Each time, the growth of the Organization increased by fulfilling every need that people were willing and asking for. Currently, the Organization is fast gaining public trust. Mainly the people living in the Mylavaram Constituency they are habituated to call upon the trust has Vastantha Foundation.

Sankshema Charitable Trust Main Motto:

• Spreading Words for Social Responsibility and finding out their responsibility to create awareness among fellow citizens.
• The main objective of the trust is to offer non-profitable selfless charity and to do service to all who are in the need of basic care, Regardless of their religion and caste.
• And also to make an important contribution. and to uplift the weaker sections of the society.

Party Activities

• In the Year 2009, Pratap laid the foundation stone for the construction of a statue of former chief minister of Andhra Pradesh YS Rajashekar Reddy  in his own village the next day in remembrance and recalling of the services of the great man when the villagers could not bear the sudden death of YSR in the period September-3rd-2009.
• In period 2013, Since the day the YSRCP party was founded, Pratap has been working tirelessly, constantly for the party by holding elections for his first victory.
• With great perseverance, he erected a YS Rajashekar statue to commemorate the memory of that great man and invited YS Jagan Mohan Reddy to Tholukodu village for the inauguration and anointed the statue of his father through his hands.
•  He actively involved and played a key role in the Foot March, Odarpu Yathra organized by Ys Jagan Mohan Reddy and Sharmila who is serving as current party convener of the YSR Congress Party.
•  He is a great follower of MLA “Vasanth Venkata Krishna Prasad“. On that aspect, Pratap went to every house in his village for the victory of the party. He completely played an active role and proclaimed the greatness of the party during elections.
• He explained boldly saying that Venkata Krishna will step forward for the people under any circumstances and fulfill their dreams by taking responsibilities.
• He fought and solved the issues raised on injustice and vanished every problem for the Dalit living in the Krishna District.
• Pratap is constantly working hard with gratitude by being with the honorable Indian political Leaders Jupudu Prabhakar, and YS Jagan Mohan Reddy.
•  As he is completely involved in the service he came with humanity to serve as Mala Mahanadu Working President from Krishna district by holding the hands of Dr.G.Chennaiah.
•  Since then he has been fulfilling the facilities of people by maintaining orders and applying, interpreting the practices and procedures of the house, relying on the standing orders, precedents, rulings by former Presidents, and various procedural authorities.
• From the moment he was given the post till the period of 5 years he has been served with humanity by using all his resources for the people and pursuing his happy life of public welfare.
• In his political journey, Pratap has been traveled and inspired by Karam Shivaji who is leading as founder and national president of Mala Mahanadu.
•  He completed engaged in the dharna along with the political leaders Krishna Madiga and Chennaiah that St-SC Act should not be repealed. It is an Act to prevent the commission of offenses of atrocities against the members of the Scheduled Castes and the Scheduled Tribes.
• He involved in the grand journey of the 48-hours Lakshya Deeksha organized by the Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh YS Jaganmohan Reddy held on the banks of the Krishna river. From an early age, he was very interested in politics and his interest turned him into a politician who expected the happiness of the people through his service and completely gave his life to political service and involved in every Deeksha organized by YS Jagan Mohan Reddy.
• Pratap encouraged and motivated about politics to the youth students and spell out about the politicians.
• He actively involved in the programs organized by YSRCP Party.
• He conveyed and explained to the people about the greatness of the YSRCP Party, the symbol and ideology of the YSRCP Party to the party leaders.
• He always woke up and stood up at the forefront for the party and slove issues raised on any problems.
• Pratap involved and played a Primary role to develop the party.
• He set up and engaged in every Mandal level, Village level meetings and delivered speeches by motivating the YSRCP Party to the upcoming leaders.
• He organized and involved in YSRCP Political Party Joining meetings.
• He has been serving and assisting the party members whenever they are in need.
• Many party development programs were carried out in the village for the growth of the party.

Developmental Activities:

• He resolved the problems of village developmental issues and also involved in many Social service events like Haritha Haram, Clean and Green, Casting of Plants, and Palle Pragathi.
• He conducted Village development activities in the village like laying of CC Roads, Putting up Street Lights, Clearance of Drainage systems, and Solving water Problems.
• In order to solve the water problem in every house of Tholukodu Colony people Pratap installed taps and solved the water issue by providing pure drinking water.
• As there is damage to the Pipelines of Water Tank in the village, He Renovated the pipelines with his own money.

Social Services:

• He will assist those who come to him for help and provide the essential things whatever they require.
• As his view is to serve the people with humanity he came forward with gratitude and assists Orphans, disabled people, senior citizens and gave his hands to serve them by providing whatever they need.
• Pratap extended his services by assisting the poor people who are deeply affected by financial problems.
• He fights over every issue raised in the town and worked to solve the issues.
• He is constantly striving and fighting for the well-being of the people.

Services During pandemic Covid-19:

• Pratap came forward to help the needy who have been affected by lockdown and distributed vegetables and fruits to the migrant workers who came from Bihar and Maharastra by providing food and shelter to them around 15days by following the precautions.
• Food item packets for drivers and migrant laborers were distributed whose livelihood has been affected during this lockdown period.
• He apportioned Masks, Sanitizers, and food to the poor and also contributed to them financially.
• To spread awareness about social distancing to and follow precautionary measures to prevent the Epidemic in Corona an awareness camp was held in the village.
• Pratap and his co-party leaders have come together to help the needy who in lockdown and distributed vegetables and fruits to the villagers, needy ones, and Municipality workers.
• As part of this, to eradicate epidemic covid-19 Sodium hypochlorite solution was sprayed all over the village for the safety of the village.
• He worked all days(Day and Night) during the covid period and looked after the people.
• He is constantly available mainly to the poorest people in the zone.
