Prashanth Rachakonda

Prashanth Rachakonda is an accomplished political figure who currently serves as the State Secretary of Telangana from the National Students’ Union of India (NSUI). His passion for public service was ignited from an early age, and he has worked tirelessly to champion the interests of the people he represents.
Early Life and Education:

He was born on 18th September 1996, in Siddipet, Telangana, Prashanth is the son of Narsimlu and Vimala. Growing up in a humble household, he learned the value of hard work, perseverance, and determination. These values have stayed with him throughout his life and have shaped his political ideology.

Prashanth began his educational journey at the ZP High School in Malkajgiri in 2011. He received a solid foundation in academics, which prepared him for the challenges that lay ahead. He then went on to attend the Geethanjali Junior College located in Gajwel, where he further honed his skills.

Prashanth’s thirst for knowledge and his commitment to academic excellence led him to pursue a degree from RGR Siddanthi Degree College at Secunderabad. He excelled in his studies and emerged as a leader amongst his peers.

He is currently enrolled in his second year of LLB studies at KV RR Law College, which is located at AV Campus in Domalaguda, Hyderabad.

Today, Prashanth’s education and experience have equipped him with the knowledge and skills to lead and serve the people of Telangana with distinction. His passion for public service is unwavering, and he remains committed to improving the lives of those he represents.

A career in Politics:

So only Prashanth’s affinity towards politics traces back to his childhood days. He has always been inclined towards bringing justice to the people and fighting for their rights. Even during his college days, he would stand by every individual, serving as their companion.

In 2014, he began his political journey by joining the National Students’ Union of India (NSUI), founded by the late Indira Gandhi, the first female Prime Minister of India. This marked the beginning of his political career. He also became an active member of the Indian National Congress Party (INC), which is led by Sonia Gandhi.

Since his inception into the party, he has been actively involved in every program related to the political party. He has dedicated himself to the growth and development of the Party and Village. He works tirelessly as a Party Activist, participating in every organized Party meeting.

Prashanth’s excellent performance during his service in 2014 led to his appointment as the NSUI Mandal President of Gajwel, where he won the admiration of the people by fulfilling the tasks assigned to him.

Due to his constant attention and dedication to his work, he was promoted to the State Secretary from the NSUI in 2016. In this role, he has worked towards promoting the right perspective towards the need for holistic and sustainable development in people. He has played a crucial role in alleviating the hardships faced by students and people in general.

Apart from his political duties, Prashanth has also balanced his family responsibilities efficiently. He has been a part of many movements, including the Telangana Separate State Movement of the late 2000s, spearheaded by now-CM, K. Chandrashekar Rao. He has actively participated in many Dharnas, Rallies, and Bandhs like Rasta Roko, Bike Rallies, Chalo Hyderabad, and Million March during the Telangana Movement.

Prashanth’s political journey has been commendable. His dedication and commitment to serving the people have earned him many accolades and a place in the hearts of the people.

Welfare Activities:

• He organized the blood camp and medical camp in the village and donated blood to needy people.
• Prashanth financially assisted the poor people in the village and also helped them in all possible ways when needed.
• He distributed fruits and medicines to the unhealthy students and needy people in the village.
• He fought and solved the issues like pensions, Ration cards, Health cards, and also the issue relating to Aadhar cards.
• Distributed Books, pads, and Stationery things to High School Students and motivates them to score high marks.
• He provided his financial support to the poor people in the village and also donated a certain amount to the merit students for their higher education.
• He conducted Village development activities in the village like laying CC Roads, Digging Borewells, Putting up Street Lights, Clearance Drainage systems, and Solving water Problems.
• Conducted many party meetings and development activities for community development.
• He stood up for the poor and ensured the development of welfare. He always raises his hands to serve the poor.
• Conducted Annadhanam Program, which served and satisfied many hungry people.
• Money was donated to the families of the poor during the wedding to support their families financially.
• Prashanth assisted the death-affected family financially for their survival.

Party Activities:

• Prashanth Rachakonda is opposing and challenging the actions of CM Kalvakuntla Chandra Shekhar Rao.
• He accompanied many Mandal levels and District level party meetings in the town and also organized Party Membership Programs.
• He explained to the people about the welfare and development activities done by the Party for the government.
• Many party development programs were carried out in the village for the growth of the party.
• Duties, responsibilities, and policies are explained to party activists and workers from time to time.
• As an INC party activist, he will be available to the people in their difficult times. He is constantly fighting over the People’s problems and petitions are being handed over to the concerned authorities.
• Organized many party meetings for the strong development of the Party and community.
• Awareness programs have been set up to keep the youth at the forefront to render service.
• Many development and social activities have been performed by the party.
• He struggled to make government schemes available to the people in the village and created awareness about the importance of schemes.
• Fought on the issues of School students and solve them as quickly.

Activities Rendered Under NSUI:

• Prashanth fought for issues raised in Schools & Colleges like using unparliamentary language, Raging, and Eve Teasing, and finalized the problem.
• He regularly conducts Free spoken English classes and Awareness programs in Schools & Colleges about the importance of education and delivers motivational speeches to the students to reach their goals for their brightest future.
• Prashanth mainly focused on issues related to students like Fee reimbursement and worked hard to ensure that scholarships were granted to students immediately.
• He organized and was involved in every program assigned by State & Central NSUI.
• He has been instrumental in many of the programs like Complications under government Schemes, and soonly problems were resolved.
  also provided better infrastructures like Desktops, Blackboards, and Tube lights in schools.
• As a student, He fought for every issue related to students and sort out within a minute of time. Constantly working hard for the student’s career.
• His hard work and commitment to the work made him struggle hard to make his dreams and goals come true, and finally, he rose to the top.
• He was involved in student Dharnas and fought for many issues like Fee Reiumbersemnt, Meals for Hostels, Reservation seats, Hostel Facilities for poor Students, Admissions for Students, and essential things for the Hostel, and college students.
• He plays an active role and always raises his voice for justice.

During First Wave of Corona-

• Prashanth came forward to help the needy who have been affected by the lockdown and distributed vegetables and fruits to the villagers, needy ones, and Municipality workers by following the precautions.
• Food item packets for drivers and migrant laborers were distributed whose livelihood has been affected during this lockdown period.
• Prashanth came forward with humanity to help those in dire straits during the corona and provide financial assistance to the people who are affected by the lockdown.
• He apportioned Masks, Sanitizers, and food to the poor and also contributed to them financially.
• To spread awareness about social distancing and following precautionary measures to prevent the Epidemic Corona an awareness program has been conducted.
• As part of the drive to eradicate the corona epidemic, Sodium hypochlorite solution was sprayed all over the village for the safety of the village.

During the Second Wave of Corona-

• Prashanth visited the hospitals and asked the hospital staff to provide oxygen cylinders for the corona victims who were seriously ill.
• Prashanth also provided free masks and sanitizers to people with corona deficiency symptoms at the hospital.
• He worked all day (Day and Night) during the covid period and looked after the people.
• He is constantly available mainly to the poorest people in the zone.
