Pothuganti Ramulu

Pothuganti Ramulu is the Member of Parliament (MP) to the 17th Lok Sabha from Nagarkurnool Lok Sabha constituency, Telangana. Ramulu has born in 1952 to Nagaiah in Gunduru Village at Kalwakurthi Mandal.

He has done his schooling up to 7th standard at Gunduru Village and Completed Graduate B.A. From Osmania University in 1974. He worked as Government Teacher for 16 years and then he has resigned from the Job.

He started his Political Journey with the Telugu Desam Party (TDP) in 1994 with the inspiration of Ex. Minister Mahendranath Who is also represented Achampet in Andhra Pradesh Assembly prior to Ramulu.

From 1994-1999, He was Served as a Member of the Legislative Assembly (MLA) of Achampet from the TDP. From 1999-2004, He worked as a Member of the Legislative Assembly(MLA) of Achampet from the TDP.

From 2009-2014, He was Served as a Member of the Legislative Assembly(MLA) of Achampet from the TDP.In 2014, He contested as MLA of Achampet but he lost the MLA Post.

He joined the Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS) Party. He worked as Minister for Sports and Youth Services. In 2019, Pothuganti Ramulu is the Member of Parliament (MP) to the 17th Lok Sabha from Nagarkurnool Lok Sabha constituency, Telangana.

Social Services:

• Ramulu is a Social Activist. He distributed many kits like Essential things, Masks, and sanitizer in most of the villages during the COVID-19 Pandemic lockdown period, and he was Provided food&Vegetables to Poor people in lockdown time.
• He involves in many of the social activities like Harithaharam, Palle Pragathi Programs, Swachh Bharath Programs & helping poor people in his village, and also fought for the development activities like CC Roads, Drainage, Street lights, and Water Problems in his Constituency.
