Ponnam Mahipal

Ponnam Mahipal is the 10th Ward Member of Kamanpur, Kothapally Mandal. He was born on 09th August 1995 to the couple Narsiah and Anjamma in Kodimial village.

Education Background:

In 2011, Mahipal completed his schooling at Vaninikethan high school, located at Karimnagar. He earned Intermediate from Trinity junior college. In 2015, Mahipal attained his Graduation(Degree) from Sri Chaitanya degree college, resided at Karimnagar.

A career in Politics:

His keen interest, determination of serving people led him into Politics. In 2014, Mahipal entered Politics and has started his career as a Member of the Bharatiya Janata Party. He worked as a BJP Activist.

About BJP:

The Bharatiya Janata Party is one of two major political parties in India. It is the current ruling political party of the Republic of India since 2014. The BJP is a right-wing party, and its policy has historically reflected Hindu nationalist positions. It has close ideological and organizational links to the much older Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh(RSS).

In 2016, He was selected as BJYM District Outlook Convenor. With the support and encouragement of the Kamanpur people Mahipal contested and was elected as 10th Ward Member of Kamanpur, Kothapally Mandal he has remained a Ward Member and has been successful in resolving people’s difficulties.

He becomes a Member of the BJYM Working Committee.

Mahipal who has been in politics for more than 10 years and has been a staunch supporter of the people, was appointed as District General Secretary of the National Youth Wing from the BJP in the belief that he will continue his services.

Mahipal also served as a Social Activist. He is always at the forefront in solving people’s issues. He would complain about people’s issues to the relevant authorities. He shows special interest in development activities like laying of CC Roads, Digging of Borewells, Putting up Street Lights, Clearance of Drainage systems, and Solving water Problems.

Various Intiatives by Mahipal as a Responsible Leader:

• BJP leaders held a Bandh in Karimnagar to mourn the death of RTC driver Babu and the KCR dictatorship. As part of the bandh, local Chintakunta ZPHS, primary schools were closed.
• The rains inundated some streets in Kamanpur’s Indira Nagar colony. Ward member Ponnam Mahipal visited the houses with the village sarpanch Jinuka Sampath and got to know the problems of the colonists.
• District General Secretary Mahipal and others set up dust bins in Indiranagar 10th ward on the orders of village sarpanch Jinuka Sampath.
• Hon’ble ZPTC Ravi, Vice MP Uppu Mallesam, and Sarpanch Jinka Sampath, Deputy Sarpanch Bonala Madhavi Muninder, and ward members Ponnam Mahipal came to the Kamanpur 10th Ward to find out and solve the problems. The leaders have been promised that the problems they have mentioned will be resolved soon.
• Mahipal, a newly appointed member of the Karimnagar District BJYM Committee, attended the district-level working committee meeting for the first time. BJP district president Gangadi Krishna Reddy, general secretaries Tallapelli Srinivas and Vasudeva Reddy, and former BJYM district president Boinipelli Praveen Rao were the chief guests at the event.
• Flag unveiling ceremonies were held in local Shantinagar and Kamanpur to mark Telangana Liberation Day. BJYM District College Outlook Convener Ponnam Mahipal, BJP Zonal Secretary Madhu Kumar, BJP Zonal Media Co-Convener Satish, and BJYM Zonal Vice President Sanjeev were present on the occasion.

Service During the Pandemic Covid-19

-The epidemic has badly damaged people’s lives. Ordinary people could not survive during the Covid Pandemic.

-During the pandemic, Mahipal gave his contribution to the poor as his best.

-He distributed food and rice bags to the migrants and also contributed to them financially.

-He donates rice bags, vegetables, and medicine to covid victims who are suffering from covid and cannot go out to fetch food.

-Provided annadhanam program to the Police, Municipal, front-line workers who served a lot during the corona crisis.

-Conducted awareness programs on the maintenance of Physical distance and following precautionary measures to prevent the epidemic in Corona.

-Mahipal put effort even during the Covid second wave.

-He distributed vegetables and fruits to the village people and needy people.

-Awareness camps and seminars were organized on the Covid-19 vaccine and about the effects of the virus.

-Organized awareness programs on precautions to be taken to prevent covid and said no need to panic.

-The area infected with the coronavirus has been declared a red zone and people have been given proper precautions and instructions.
