Perumalla Chandra Shekar is a well-known Social Worker from Kondurg In the District of Ranga Reddy from the Indian State of Telangana.

EARLY LIFE AND EDUCATION–

On the 17th of June 1992, in Kondurg village of Ranga Reddy from Telangana state, he was born into a rural middle-class household as a treasured son for the couple Mr. Late Perumalla Chenappa & Mrs. Late Perumalla Laxmamma.

He was never a believer in a pretentious education. He came from a simple educational background, as do most people. He studied Secondary Board of Education from ZP High School located at Kondurg, Telangana.

He finished his undergraduate from Sri Vedagiri Junior College situated at Kondurg, Telangana. Later he acquired graduation with a degree from Sri BAM Degree College, resided at Kondurg, Telangana.

Telangana Movement-

Chandra Shekar actively participated in the Telangana movement for the separation of Telangana from Andhra Pradesh and to form the Telangana as a separate State and He lent great support to the Telangana Statehood Movement by providing intellectual support.
During Telangana Movement, Chandra Shekar played an active role and fought for the creation of a new state, Telangana, from the pre-existing state of Andhra Pradesh in India.
He organized and was involved in Rasta Roko from a distance of the Ranga Reddy District.
Maha Dharna was held at the Clock Tower Center for the separate state of Telangana.
As being a part of the fight for the state of Telangana, Chandra Shekar has been organized Padayatra and fought for Telangana State along with party members.
Under the auspices of the Telangana movement, non-stop protests were held for 25 days.

CAREER IN SOCIAL SERVICE –

He is a staunch believer that each and every individual should engage in social work that builds a sense of patriotism in their souls and one should constantly try to influence people around them by emphasizing that one is indebted to society.

With the sole idea of helping the poor in all possible ways, Chandra Shekar in the year 2016 started to serve the people in all ways by leading himself to when they were in difficulty and his pure sense of humor turned him into a great man with humanity.

His unwavering commitment and sincere determination towards service made him upgraded to the Youth President from Kondurg in 2016 to promote the appropriate viewpoint on the need for holistic and sustainable development in people by alleviating their problems up to 2018.

 5 DAYS AMARANA NIRAHARA DEEKSHA-

Chandra Shekar Convened and Involved in Protests and Rallies

• In 2018, he initiated an Amarana Deeksha appealing for the construction of Junior Colleges and Washrooms in Kondurg Village, Telangana.
• He staged a dharna to ensure that two physicians stay present at the Primary Health Center 24 hours a day.
• He fought on the issue raised on Pollution Control as Pollution prevention protects the environment by conserving and protecting natural resources while strengthening economic growth through more efficient production in industry and less need for households, businesses, and communities to handle the waste.
• He protested a dharna seeking that 4 acres of Playground should be built in the Kondurg of Ranga Reddy district in the state of Telangana.

As a Social Worker, he serves society with the mission of accumulating consciousness among the poor through innovative livelihood activities, striving for a corruption-free society, and ensuring order and responsibility in all actions aimed at improving the weaker sections.

Social & Welfare Activities–

• Chandra Shekar provided financial and humanitarian assistance to the victims of fires in the villages, who had been assaulted by the fires themselves.
• He fulfills his obligations while also looking after the welfare of the people that live in the village and zone by resolving concerns relating to water, sanitation, and any other minor problems that may arise.
• Chandra Shekar served the elderly and needy people in the community by supplying them with the necessities of life and by assisting them through times of financial hardship.
• Many service activities, such as blankets for beggars, clothing for the destitute, and meals for orphaned children, were planned during the event.
• He fights for the people’s concerns and the welfare of the people, and many of the colony’s development plans have been a resounding success as a result of his efforts.

Services Rendered during Pandemic COVID-19-

During First Wave of Corona–

• Chandra Shekar came forward to help the needy who have been affected by lockdown and distributed vegetables and fruits to the villagers, needy ones, and Municipality workers by following the precautions.
• Food item packets for drivers and migrant laborers were distributed whose livelihood has been affected during this lockdown period. Upender came forward with humanity to help those in dire straits during the corona and provide financial assistance to the people who are affected by the lockdown.
• He apportioned Masks, Sanitizers, and food to the poor and also contributed to them financially.
• To spread awareness about social distancing and follow precautionary measures to prevent the Epidemic of Corona an awareness program has been conducted.
• As part of the drive to eradicate the corona epidemic, Sodium hypochlorite solution was sprayed all over the village for safety of the village.

During the Second Wave of Corona–

• Chandra Shekar visited the hospitals and asked the hospital staff to provide oxygen cylinders for the corona victims who were seriously ill.
• Chandra Shekar also provided free masks and sanitizers to people with corona deficiency symptoms at the hospital.
• He worked all days(Day and Night) during the covid period and looked after the people.
• He is constantly available mainly to the poorest people in the zone. An awareness demonstration was performed in order to raise awareness about social distance and the need of taking precautionary steps in an attempt to eliminate the Corona Epidemic from occurring.
• When the coronavirus was finally exterminated, sodium hypochlorite solution was sprayed across the whole village to ensure that the villagers were not exposed to any harmful effects.
• The Covid Immunization Drive was organized in response to Prime Minister Modi’s plea in order to increase awareness among the general population about the need of acquiring a free corona vaccination.
• During the pandemic, A door to door survey was organized and raised awareness about the virus covid and provided precautions to be followed.
