Born on October 12, 1976, in Parigi Village, Penukonda Constituency, Andhra Pradesh, I hail from a respected family as the youngest son of Late Shri. Parigi. Nagaraja Rao and Late Smt. PN Savithramma. I was raised in an environment deeply influenced by Indian epics, mythology, and spiritual teachings. These early experiences instilled in me a strong belief in Hindu philosophy, which continues to guide my values and actions.

I began my formal education at 1990 at MGM High School, Hindupur, and pursued intermediate studies at SDGS Junior College in 1993. My academic journey continued with a Bachelor of Commerce (B.Com) from SDGS Degree College, Hindupur, in 1996. Furthering my education, I earned an MBA in 1999 from PESIT in Bangalore, followed by an LLB from Vijayanagar Law College, affiliated with Sri Krishnadevaraya University, Anantapur. These qualifications laid a strong foundation for my professional and leadership endeavours.

With over a decade of experience in the corporate sector, I have held key roles in companies like Vamicol, MRF, ICICI Bank, Goodyear, Falken Tyres, and Fourth Force, where I developed expertise in sales, market trends, and business development. My ability to foster strong relationships and drive growth has been a hallmark of my career.

Now I am Practicing as an Advocate. Beyond my professional achievements, I am a passionate advocate for social responsibility. I actively support local charities, community events, and educational initiatives, channelling my success into improving the lives of others.

Motivated by a strong commitment to community service, I entered politics by aligning with the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP). My decision to join the BJP reflects the dedication to contributing to public welfare and advocating for the betterment of society through political engagement.

As a dedicated philanthropist, I founded the Divya Educational & Charitable Trust in 2018, reflecting my commitment to providing education, healthcare, and resources to marginalized communities. My efforts have supported pregnant women, underprivileged students, and individuals facing medical challenges. In 2021, and 2022 I was honoured with the Best NGO Award for my organization’s exemplary service during the COVID-19 pandemic, showcasing my dedication to community welfare.

I am not only a successful professional but also a community builder, philanthropist, and visionary leader. My commitment to public service and community development continues to inspire positive change in Andhra Pradesh and beyond.

Early Life & Education of Shri Parigi Venugopal Rao

Parigi Venugopal Rao, born on October 12, 1976, in Parigi Village, located in the Penukonda Constituency of Andhra Pradesh, hails from a distinguished family background as the youngest son of Late Shri Parigi. Parigi Venugopal Rao comes from a respected lineage as the grandson of Late Shri. Parigi Venkobachar and Late Smt. Parigi Seethamma, a prominent landowner in Parigi with a legacy of community contributions. His grandparents, who owned 150 acres of land, generously donated 6 acres of land to the Sri Subramanya Swamy Temple in Parigi, reflecting their deep commitment to spiritual and communal welfare.

Parigi Venugopal Rao’s academic journey commenced in 1990 at MGM High School in Hindupur, where he laid a strong foundation for his future endeavours. In 1993, he continued his intermediate studies at SDGS Junior College, Hindupur, driven by a keen desire to achieve academic excellence.

Roles & Responsibilities in Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP)

On August 21, 2024, Parigi Venugopal Rao officially joined the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) at the BJP state office in Vijayawada. In the presence of Smt. Daggubati Purandeswari, BJP Andhra Pradesh State President who welcomed him into the party. Sri G. Sekhar, the District President of Satya Sai District, was also present and personally introduced Parigi Venugopal Rao to Smt. Daggubati Purandeswari. This significant moment marked Parigi’s formal induction into the BJP, highlighting the party’s growing strength in the region. He also had the opportunity to meet Shri Madhukarji Sanghatan Minister, Mr Bhupathi Rajuji Varma-Central Minister, Mr Chandramouliji, Shri Tapana Chowdary ji BJP state general secretary.

Participation in BJP Party Activities-

At a district meeting focused on party enrollment, held on August 25, 2024, at the Puttaparthi District office, BJP Sathya Sai District President, Sri G. Mohan Sekhar, formally introduced Parigi Venugopal Rao. The event was attended by prominent leaders, including Sri Madhukarji, marking Parigi’s significant entry into the party’s district-level activities.

Shri Parigi Venugopal Rao actively participated in the inaugural district enrollment program held on August 27, 2024, at Lepakshi, Andhra Pradesh. His involvement marked a key moment in the BJP’s membership drive in the region, showcasing his dedication to expanding the party’s grassroots presence. The event highlighted Parigi’s commitment to strengthening the party’s reach and engaging with the local community.

On August 28, 2024, Shri Parigi Venugopal Rao took part in the inauguration ceremony of the newly constructed floor of the VHP (Vishwa Hindu Parishad) building At Kurnool. His presence at the event underscored his support for the organization’s growth and development, contributing to the expansion of its community-focused initiatives.

The newly established BJP offices in Kodigenahalli and Parigi were inaugurated under the leadership of district president Sri. GM Shekhar emphasized that the BJP is the world’s largest political party in terms of membership. Parigi Venugopal Rao, chairman of the Divya Education Charitable Trust in Parigi, recently joined the BJP, bolstering the party’s presence in the mandal. Under the leadership of mandal president Sri. GM Shekhar, Sri. Parigi Venugopal Rao and 100 individuals from various villages officially became members of the BJP, marking a significant increase in the party’s strength in the region.

Shri Parigi Venugopal Rao inaugurated a new BJP party office in Parigi, further strengthening the party’s presence in the region. On September 4, 2024, Shri Parigi Venugopal Rao attended the BJP enrollment program meeting held in Hindupuram &Puttaparthi. The event was graced by the presence of Sri G Mohan Sekhar, District President, along with former MLA and ex-whip, Sri Kappu Ramachandra Reddy, and other key leaders. During the meeting, Sri Kappu Ramachandra Reddy was honored and facilitated, marking the significance of the event in strengthening party activities and leadership connections in the region.

On September 5, 2024, Shri Parigi Venugopal Rao celebrated Teacher’s Day in Parigi, bringing together 150 teachers for the occasion. During the event, he took the opportunity to share the news of his recent joining  in to the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), highlighting his commitment to the party’s ideals. The gathering served as a platform to express gratitude to educators while also fostering greater community engagement with his political journey.

On September 12, 2024, Parigi Venugopal Rao actively participated in the BJP membership review meeting held in Puttaparthy. The meeting, organized by Sri Bitta Shiva Venkata Narayana and other party leaders, focused on assessing membership engagement in the Hindupur, Penukonda, and Madakasira regions. This gathering provided a platform for discussing strategies to strengthen party involvement and outreach within these constituencies. On September 15, 2024, Parigi Venugopal Rao met with Smt. Savithamma, the Andhra Pradesh Minister for Textiles, during a site visit to the Indian Red Cross Society. The visit was an opportunity to discuss key development initiatives in the textiles sector. Sri Satya Kumar and Sri G. Sekhar were also present, further contributing to the discussions on community welfare and infrastructure improvements. On September 15, 2024, Parigi Venugopal Rao met with Sri Satya Kumar, Minister for Health and Medical Education, BJP National Secretary, and MLA of Dharmavaram, during a site visit to the Indian Red Cross Society land in Palasamudram. Sri G. Sekhar introduced Parigi Venugopal Rao to the Minister. As a gesture of respect, Parigi Venugopal Rao presented Sri Satya Kumar with a copy of the Bhagavad Gita and an idol of Lord Rama, symbolizing their shared values of faith and service.

Under the leadership of Parigi Venugopal Rao, grand celebrations were held at the Parigi Mandal Center in honor of the birthday of the State Minister for Medical Education and Health, Shri. Satya Kumar Yadav. The event began with a special pooja at the Anjaneya Swamy Temple, where heartfelt congratulations were extended to the Minister on his special day. Parigi Venugopal Rao made a generous contribution of Rs. 1,11,116 to the Ayodhya Ram Mandir Temple. This significant donation reflects his commitment to supporting religious and cultural initiatives within the community. By funding the temple, he aims to promote spiritual well-being and strengthen community ties, ensuring that the temple can continue to serve as a place of worship and gathering for devotees. His philanthropic efforts highlight the importance he places on preserving cultural heritage and fostering a sense of unity among community members.

On August 11, 2024, Parigi Venugopal Rao made a significant contribution of Rs. 2,00,116/- (Two Lakhs One Hundred and Sixteen) to the Vishwa Hindu Parishad (VHP) to support the opening of a new building. He handed over the cheque to Sri Alok Kumar, International President of VHP, in the esteemed presence of His Holiness Sri Sri Ravishankar Guruji, Sri Dattatreya Hosabale, Sarakaryavah of the RSS, and other distinguished guests at an event held in Bengaluru. This contribution reflects Parigi Venugopal Rao’s continued commitment to promoting cultural and spiritual development through meaningful community support.

On July 2, 2023, the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) inaugurated a Shaka at Parigi, marking a significant milestone for the local community. Shri. Parigi Venugopal Rao had the honor of attending the event as the chief guest, where he addressed the gathering and emphasized the importance of community service, discipline, and unity. His presence underscored his commitment to promoting the values that the RSS stands for, as well as his dedication to fostering a spirit of togetherness among residents. The event not only served as a platform for the dissemination of the organization’s principles but also strengthened the bonds within the community, encouraging active participation in social and cultural initiatives.

On July 18, 2024, His Holiness Sri Sri Vishwaprasanna Teertha Swamiji from Pejawar Math in Udupi visited the residence of Parigi Venugopal Rao. During his visit, the revered Swamiji performed a sacred pooja, following his recent Ayodhya Srirama Pooja. This auspicious occasion not only blessed Parigi Venugopal Rao’s home but also reinforced the spiritual connection between the community and the esteemed Swamiji, highlighting the importance of tradition and devotion. Since January 2018, Parigi Venugopal Rao has been consistently providing 22000 meals to pregnant women at the Parigi Primary Health Center (PHC) every Friday and on the 9th of each month. As of August 1, 2024, this initiative has been a steadfast part of his commitment to supporting maternal health and nutrition in the community, reflecting his ongoing dedication to social welfare and care for vulnerable groups.

On November 27, 2019, Parigi Venugopal Rao generously sponsored the education expenses of Bhavani, a student who tragically lost her parents. The sponsorship was presented at Parigi ZP High School in the presence of Smt. Lakshmi Devi, the Mandal Educational Officer, along with the school’s Headmaster and other dignitaries. This heartfelt gesture underscores Rao’s commitment to supporting underprivileged students and ensuring their continued access to education despite life’s hardships.

Parigi Venugopal Rao extended financial support of Rs. 3,000 to Nayaz, a resident of Seetharampuram Colony in Parigi, who was affected by a street dog bite. This timely assistance helped cover medical expenses, reflecting Rao’s compassionate approach toward the well-being of his community members and his readiness to provide aid in times of need.

Parigi Venugopal Rao provided financial support of Rs. 10,000 to the family of Harshavardhan from Vadde Gunthala Colony, following his untimely passing at a private hospital in Bangalore. The assistance was given to his grieving parents, Ramanjinamma and Srinivasalu, offering them relief during a difficult time. This gesture reflects Rao’s deep empathy and commitment to supporting families in need within his community.

Parigi Venugopal Rao contributed Rs. 10,000 to the family of Sajappa, who served with dedication at the Parigi Police Station for 20 years before his untimely passing due to a heart attack. This financial assistance was directed to his grieving family members, supporting them during a challenging time. Rao’s gesture demonstrates his commitment to honoring the contributions of community servants and supporting their families in times of need.

Parigi Venugopal Rao generously sponsored Rs. 20,000 for Bhagya, a 10-year-old girl from Hindupur Pipeline Road who was battling cancer. She thanks Parigi Venugopal Rao for this support, as she is now recovering well and has resumed her education. This act of kindness not only highlights Parigi Venugopal Rao’s commitment to supporting those in need but also emphasizes the importance of community solidarity in helping individuals overcome health challenges and pursue their dreams.

On May 29, 2023, Parigi Venugopal Rao contributed Rs. 50,000 to support Vinay, a cancer patient residing at RR Nagar, Bangalore. This generous sponsorship was aimed at assisting Vinay with his medical expenses, reflecting Rao’s commitment to helping individuals in their time of need. His support not only provides financial relief but also instills hope in the fight against cancer, showcasing the importance of community compassion and solidarity.

Parigi Venugopal Rao generously sponsored Rs. 10,000 to the family of Sidhu, an Eenadu reporter from Hindupur Town, who passed away due to health issues. This financial assistance was provided to support Sidhu’s family during their time of grief and to ensure his children’s educational needs are met. The contribution was made in the presence of reporters from the Hindupur Press Club, highlighting Rao’s commitment to community welfare and his dedication to supporting the families of those who serve in the media.

On September 19, 2018, Parigi Venugopal Rao sponsored a napkin vending machine and for the painting of the girls’ waiting room at SDGS College in Hindupur, incurring a total cost of Rs. 50,000. The vending machine, valued at approximately Rs. 22,000, was installed to promote hygiene and convenience for female students. This initiative was carried out in the presence of Prof. Sudhakar, the college principal, and other staff members, reflecting Parigi Venugopal Rao’s commitment to enhancing the educational environment and supporting the well-being of young women in the community.

Parigi Venugopal Rao celebrated Telugu Language Day in Parigi, showcasing the significance of the language and culture. The event was attended by esteemed guests, including Parigi MRO Smt. Soujanya Lakshmi, MEO Lakshmi Devi, and various poets contributed to the day’s festivities. A total of Rs. 5,000 was allocated to support this celebration, highlighting Rao’s dedication to promoting and preserving the Telugu language and its rich literary heritage within the community.

Parigi Venugopal Rao generously sponsored Rs. 51,000 for the purchase of 30 police uniforms, each costing Rs. 1,700, for the staff at the Parigi Police Station. This initiative was carried out in the presence of Parigi Sub-Inspector Sri Shiva, underscoring Rao’s commitment to supporting local law enforcement. By providing these uniforms, he aims to enhance the professionalism and operational readiness of the police personnel, reflecting his dedication to community safety and welfare.

Parigi Venugopal Rao generously sponsored Rs. 5,000 for mementos to be awarded to students during the Sports Day at Parigi ZPHS School. This contribution underscores his commitment to encouraging student participation in sports and fostering a spirit of competition and teamwork among young learners. His support was acknowledged in the presence of Mandal Educational Officer Smt. Lakshmidevi appreciated the importance of recognizing students’ efforts and achievements. By providing these mementos, Rao aims to inspire students to pursue excellence in both academics and athletics.

14. The Divya Educational and Charitable Trust, under the guidance of Parigi Venugopal Rao, organized the distribution of hand sanitizing machines and face masks to the officers at the Tehsildar, MPDO, and Police Station offices in Parigi. This initiative aimed to enhance safety and hygiene practices within the community during challenging times. Additionally, Parigi Venugopal Rao took the opportunity to present saplings to Tahsildar’s office to promote environmental awareness and sustainability. These efforts reflect his commitment to both public health and ecological responsibility in the community.

15. In the absence of Parigi Venugopal Rao, the administrator of Divya Educational and Charitable Trust, Tirumala Nagar Manager Siva distributed sanitizers to police officers and staff. The sanitizers were handed over to SI Srinivas during the event to ensure the safety and well-being of the police personnel. This initiative, led by Parigi Venugopal Rao’s trust, underscores his ongoing commitment to supporting frontline workers and promoting public health in the community.

16. On January 3, 2020, Parigi Venugopal Rao generously sponsored Rs. 30,000 to the Anantapur District Blind Federation, enabling four blind individuals to secure government jobs through teacher training. Since 2020, Parigi Venugopal Rao has consistently provided 10,000 rupees to the Blind Federation School. The event, which marked a significant contribution to empowering the visually impaired community, was attended by MLA Smt. Jonnalagadda Padmavathy, District Registrar Smt. Uma Maheshwari, Advocate Smt. Sailaja, and Blind Association President Shri. Vijay Bhaskar. This initiative highlights Parigi Venugopal Rao’s dedication to supporting marginalized communities and promoting equal opportunities.

17. Following the collapse of Aamir’s house in Mandal Center due to heavy rains, Parigi Venugopal Rao, Chairman of Divine Educational Charitable Trust, extended his support to the affected family. He provided them with essential supplies, including two bags of Sona Masoori rice, 2 kg of toor dal, sugar, jaggery, oil, and dried chilies, offering much-needed relief during their time of distress. This gesture highlights Rao’s dedication to assisting those in need within his community.

18. Parigi Venugopal Rao sponsored the launch of a book dedicated to the life and legacy of Padma Shri Kallur Subba Rao, a prominent freedom fighter. Through this contribution, Parigi Venugopal Rao honored the memory of Subba Rao’s invaluable contributions to India’s independence, furthering awareness of his inspiring journey and sacrifices. This initiative reflects Parigi Venugopal Rao’s commitment to preserving the history of national heroes and promoting their values for future generations.

19. Since 2015, Parigi Venugopal Rao has generously donated food and clothing to 100 students annually on April 3rd, in memory of Divya, contributing Rs. 15,000 each year. This tradition has continued, with the exception of the COVID-19 year, demonstrating his unwavering commitment to supporting underprivileged students and honoring Divya’s memory through meaningful community service.

20. Since 2015, Parigi Venugopal Rao has been a consistent supporter of Srinidhi Charitable Trust in Kengeri, Bangalore, by sponsoring food for the children under its care. His long-term commitment reflects his dedication to ensuring the well-being and nourishment of underprivileged children, contributing significantly to the trust’s mission of providing a better future for those in need.

In 2021, Parigi Venugopal Rao was honoured with the prestigious Best NGO Award for Parigi Mandal by the Government of Andhra Pradesh in recognition of his organization’s outstanding contributions during the COVID-19 pandemic. The award was presented by MRO Smt. Soujanya Lakshmi, MPDO Sri Ramarao, Dr. Sreekanthi, and MEO Smt.
