Panuganti Mahesh Kumar

Panuganti Mahesh Kumar is the General Secretary of Medchal Municipality from the Congress party. In 2005, He was born on 10-September-1991 to Yadagiri and Swarupa.

Education Background

He studied SSC at Paparaya Vidyalayam, Medchal. He completed Intermediate from Wesly junior college, Paradise in 2007. In 2010, Mahesh graduated with a Degree from Wesly degree college, Begumpet.

In 2011, Mahesh worked as a Reporter at Studio N.

Political Career

In 2012, Mahesh entered into politics with the Telugu Desam Party(TDP) with the intention of serving the people. He worked as a Party Activist in the party. Mahesh left the TDP and joined the Indian National Congress(INC) party in 2016.

He played a key role in the Telangana Movement and took part in Million March, Chalo Hyderabad, Vanta Varpu, Bahiramba Sabha, Rasta Rocos, Protest programs, Bike Rallies as a part of the Telangana Movement. Participated in Haritha Haram, Swachh Bharath programs.

In 2018, Due to his dedication towards the work, he promoted to General Secretary of Medchal Municipality from the Congress party and continues in the position till now.

Recent Activities

• He has a keen interest in Social Service. He donates medicines to the people for the sake of public health. Mahesh has adopted Three orphaned children and educating them among them 2 girls are studying Degree and one boy is studying Intermediate.
• Conducted awareness programs to the students on Education, how to secure good scores, how to improve their skills. Provided stationery things, Plates, Exam Pads to the students.
• He has been organized blood donation camps on the occasion of Gandhi’s birth anniversary(October 2nd) and on Dr.BR. Ambedkar’s birth anniversary(April 14th).

Party Activities

• Medchal Municipal Congress General Secretary Panuganti Mahesh expressed support for the one-day initiative of the BC Student Union to set up a government degree college in Medchal.
• Mahesh, a young Congress leader, said that every Dalit who does not have three acres of land should be given land as promised to the Dalits and that the promise given by the Telangana CM should be kept.
• Medchal Congress party president V. Srinivas Reddy, Mahesh General Secretary of Medchal handed over a petition to the Medchal tehsildar asking him to immediately release the lands belonging to the Medchal large pond and protect the government lands.
• Medchal District Sadhana Samithi Medchal town president Panuganti Mahesh held a massive rally with all parties and public associations and student unions to set up all government administration centers in Medchal district center.
• TDP medical district president Tiger Thotakura Jangayya Yadav and Sai Peta Srinivas Yadav, Panuganti Mahesh, and others visited Anil’s family after the demise of Shamirpet Mandal TNSF leader Bommarasi Pet resident Nakka Anil Goud’s father.
• Panuganti Mahesh Kumar pays homage to Polamolla Balesh elected as SC cell chairman of Congress party medical district in Medchal town.
• Mahesh and Temple Committee Members invites Malkajgiri MP Mallareddy to attend Medchal Shri Ramalingeswara Swamy Jatara,
• On the Tunkunta Rajiv road in Shamirpet zone, under the leadership of former Medchal MLA Chenna Lakshmareddy, the TRS government protested against the taxes being levied on the people and set fire to the statue of CM KCR. The event was attended by Medchal constituency leaders and activists.

Service During Pandemic Covid-19

• Mahesh served in the Pandemic Covid-19 time also.
• He distributed Essential things, Masks, and Sanitizers in the village during the COVID-19 Pandemic lockdown period.
• He also provided Food&Vegetables to Poor people in lockdown time.
• Provided free food service to the migrants, municipal workers, to the police who served a lot in the pandemic time.
• Awareness was created on how to prevent Covid-19, how to maintain social distance.
• Gave precautions to prevent Covid-19.
