My journey in public service began in 1998 when I joined the Indian National Congress Party (INC). Over the years, I have dedicated myself to the party’s principles and worked tirelessly to support its mission. In 2005, I was appointed Director of Macherla Market Yard, where I contributed significantly to the agricultural sector. My wife, Narayanamma, was also elected as the Sarpanch of Gottipalla village that same year, allowing us to work together for the betterment of our community. In 2012, I transitioned to the Yuvajana Sramika Rythu Congress Party (YSRCP) to further align with its vision. In 2020, I was honored to be elected as the Chairperson of Macherla Market Yard.

Beyond politics, I am deeply committed to social activism and community service. I have actively participated in various initiatives, such as the “Intitiki Ration Biyyam” program to ensure food security for the underprivileged and provided free coaching for students preparing for SBI Bank exams. During the COVID-19 pandemic, I distributed essential items and raised awareness about health protocols to protect our villagers. My dedication to public service drives me to continually strive for the well-being and development of our community, embodying the true spirit of a public servant.

Early Life and Family Background

Pallapati Bala Gurubraman Narayanamma was born in 1954 to Pallapati Muslaiah and Nasaramma in the serene and picturesque village of Gottipalla, located in Veldurthi Mandal of Guntur district. Growing up in an agricultural family, Gurubraman Narayanamma was immersed in the values of hard work, dedication, and community service from a young age. His parents, Muslaiah and Nasaramma, were diligent farmers who instilled in him a deep respect for the land and the significance of agriculture in sustaining livelihoods. The rural backdrop of his upbringing fostered a strong sense of connection to his roots and an understanding of the challenges and rewards of farming life. This early exposure to the agricultural way of life shaped his character and laid a solid foundation for his future endeavours.

Educational Journey and Marriage

Gurubraman Narayanamma’s educational journey began in the local setting of ZP High School in Sirigiripadu Village, where he completed his 5th standard. Despite the limited resources available in rural schools, he demonstrated a keen interest in learning and determined to make the most of the educational opportunities available. His perseverance and commitment to education were evident even in the face of numerous challenges. Beyond academics, his life took a significant turn when he married Narayanamma, a woman of remarkable strength and leadership. Narayanamma later served as the Sarpanch of Gottipalla Village, earning respect and admiration for her contributions to local governance. Their partnership symbolizes a union of shared values and mutual support, reflecting their joint commitment to community service and leadership. Together, Gurubraman and Narayanamma have become pillars of their community, demonstrating that dedication to family, education, and public service can create a lasting impact.

As Chairperson, Gurubramam continues to advocate for the interests of farmers and market stakeholders, ensuring that the Macherla Market Yard operates efficiently and effectively for the benefit of all.
