Padamati Jagan Mohan Reddy

Padamati Jagan Mohan Reddy is an Indian Politician of BJP and Kisan Morcha State General Secretary of Telangana.

CHILDHOOD AND EDUCATION:

On the 24th of October 1968, Padamati Jagan Mohan Reddy was born to the couple Mr&Mrs Padamati Pandu Ranga Reddy and raised in Bhongir of Yadadri-Bhuvanagiri District in the Indian State of Telangana.

In 1985, Jagan Mohan Reddy obtained his Secondary School Certificate from Sri Vani Vidyalam at Bhongir, Yadadri-Bhunagiri District and completed his Intermediate Education at Government Junior College at Bhongir in 1987.

He graduated with a Bachelor of Arts(B.A) from Sri Lakshmi Narasimha Degree College at Bhongir in 1992. He acquired his LLB from PMR Law College, affiliated with Osmania University in Hyderabad, in 2012.

EARLY CAREER IN POLITICS:

Before completing his education in 1985, Jagan Mohan Reddy entered politics with a passion for serving the people by joining the Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad(ABVP) and served as an Active Member to promote the proper perspective towards the need for holistic and sustainable development in students.

For his involvement and participation in all the programs and performance in the election campaign, Jagan Mohan Reddy was elected as the ABVP Bhongir Town President in 1989 to serve the people and tackle the issues raised by executing his tasks effectively and adhering to the party’s policies and guidelines til 1992.

On the one hand, he is continuing his education. On the other, he is desperately fulfilling his responsibilities by joining the Bhartiya Janata Yuva Morcha(BJYM), the youth wing of Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) and has been appointed as the BJYM Town President of Bhongir in 1993 and served in the same position up to 1996.

From 1996 to 2001, Jagan Mohan Reddy served as the Ummadi Nalgonda District Vice President of BJYM to resolve the issues raised in society.

He stood by the people and gave them the courage to the people by solving every problem. His modesty further enhanced his responsibilities by being elected Ummadi Nalgonda District General Secretary from 2001 to 2004 for his services to the People.

Jagan Mohan Reddy takes a genuine interest in the Party. He participates proactively in every activity, executing his responsibilities per a code of conduct and for the benefit of the party’s public exposure.

For his work and humility towards the growth and the welfare of the people, in 2004, he was appointed as the BJYM State Executive Member of Telangana by providing services to the people by satisfing the requirements of everyone who appealed to him for assistance.

He upholds the trust that the people have placed in him and maintains his service, concentrating on the welfare of the people at the moment and dealing with the activities that will encourage Party to advance.

In addition to his primary responsibilities, in 2014, he was elected by the people and served as the 21st Ward Councillor of Bhongir from BJP to ensure that the initial and subsequent tasks ran smoothly as a process of excessive commitments.

After receiving the authority and performing every activity as his responsibility for the welfare of the people, Jagan Mohan Reddy was designated as the Assembly Convener of Bhongir by BJP in 2009 by executing his duties per a code of conduct and for the benefit of the recognition.

He extended his service and work by accepting the elected respectable position of Yadadri-Bhuvanagiri District General Secretary from BJP to look after the people and the issues they were facing and served with the assigned place. 

He has been served conscientiously for the prosperity of the people from the party’s inception to the present day, consistently aspiring for the party’s and society’s advancement and performing desperate service to society and for the goodness of the people.

For his determination, he was promoted to the Kisan Morcha State General Secretary of Telangana by the BJP to discharge his duties from 2020 only for the people’s good without compromising on the trust placed in him by the party.

As a Telangana Activist:

Jagan Mohan Reddy was a Telangana Activist. During Telangana Movement, i.e., from 2004-2014, Jagan Mohan Reddy played an active role. He fought to create a new state, Telangana, from the pre-existing condition of Andhra Pradesh in India.  

He participated in many social Programs and was involved in  Million March, Bike Rallies, and Dharan’s to form Telangana as a Separate State. Jagan Mohan Reddy was imprisoned while participating in the movement.

He set up a Vanta Varpu during the period of Rasta Roko, and in programs of Sakala Jamula Samme, Bahiranga Saba and many more dharnas and rallies were held in continuous movement. 

He won the people’s admiration by using the responsibilities, duties and powers assigned to him so that he was honoured as the Telangana Movement Committee Convener from 2009 to 2014 for the good of the people without jeopardising the faith placed in him.

Being serving in the assigned positions, Jagan Mohan Reddy has performed many social and welfare activities for the people. From the moment he began his social life till now, he has been using all his resources for the people and pursuing his happy life of public welfare.

CONTESTED POSITIONS:

During the bye-elections in 2005, Jagan Mohan Reddy contested for the position of 21st Ward Councillor for the Bhongir in Yadadri-Bhuvanagiri District from the BJP. Still, the position was given to the opposition party with a minor difference in the voting percentage of 25 votes.

In the 2019 general Elections, Jagan Mohan Reddy competed for the 10th Ward Councillor of Bhongir in Yadadri-Bhuvanagiri from BJP, but the position has been vacated.

Party Meetings:

• A gathering of all of the BJP morchas took place in the state office of the BJP, and at this gathering, BJP National General Secretary Mr Sunil Bansal and Sahincharge Mr Arvind Menon, National Secretary, led a meeting to assess the performance of BJP Morchas.
• At the suggestion of Mr Anil Bonde, the All India General Secretary of MP Rajya Sabha Kisan Morcha, a gathering of the state office bearers of the BJP Kisan Morcha was scheduled to take place at Hytech City in Hyderabad.
• Mr Priyashetti was the chief guest at this program, which was held as a part of the Sampark Abhiyan programme on the 30th, and 1st, about the condition and strengthening of the party, Modi’s open meeting on the 3rd, about the performance of various fronts, and Mr Priyashetti’s participation in a meeting with booth presidents, former Ministers of Jammu and Kashmir, and members of the National BJP Working Committee. At the intersection of Kisan Morcha state office bearers that occurred at the state office, the state presidents, Shri Bandi Sanjay, Premender Reddy, and Shri Mantri Srinivas, participated and supervised the discussion.
• Mr Etala Rajender and Mr Vivek Venkataswamy were the primary guests at a farmer conference held in the Warangal joint district under the auspices of the BJP Kisan  Morcha.
• District Kisan Morcha meeting was held at Hotel Vivera, All India Beej KM Vice President Shri N. Suresh Reddy, Mr Goli Madhusudhan Reddy, Mr Beej KM Kerala State Incharge, Mr PV Shyamsunder, Mr District BJP President, and Mandal President were also in attendance at the meeting.
• At the meeting of the Bharatiya Janata Party Kisan Morcha Yadhadri Bhuvanagiri District Executive Committee, TRS party Chief Minister Kalvakuntla Chandrasekhara Rao, who is showing hypocritical love for the farmers, demanded that purchasing centres should be set up in time for the Yasangi crop grown by the farmers in Telangana and that the minimum support price given by the central government should be paid to the farmers in the amount.
• A Hanamkonda District Kisan Morcha conference was conducted to explore the organisational concerns that may arise during the forthcoming fight for farmer issues.
• At the state office, there was a gathering for the presidents and general secretaries of all BJP morchas. In this meeting, participants were Mr Tarun Chuk, Mr Shiv Prakash Ji, Mr Bandi Sanjay, and Minister Srinivas.

Party Activities:

• Ex-ministers, elders, the national vice-president of the BJP, MPTCs, public representatives, women, and youth actively participated in a tour of various villages that began in Chinna Konduru in the Chautuppal rural Mandal. The tour was organised to win the election for Komatireddy Rajagopal Reddy.
• On the occasion of Guduru Narayana Reddy’s birthday, the members of the caste professions were presented with equipment. The equipment was presented by the State BJP President, Mr Bandi Sanjay Kumar and the OBC Morcha National President, Mr Laxman, who both attended as major guests. Daruvu Ellanna and Tinmar Mallanna state BJP leaders attended and joined the event.
• Deputy Chief Minister of Jammu & Kashmir in the past When Mr Dr Nirmal Singh travelled to the state BJP office to congratulate his companion Poreddy Kishore at the office of Kisanmorcha on the occasion of his election as the representative of the state, he was greeted with civility.
• On the occasion of the foundational day of the BJP, flags were raised in various wards under the chairmanship of town presidents Uma Shankar, district presidents Shyam Sundar Rao, Potamshetty Ravinder, Pasam Bhaskar, and Dasari Mallesham; district office bearers Shyam Sundar Rao, Potamshetty Ravinder, and Dasari Mallesham; district state leaders; and municipal councillors and district office bearers.
• Farmers in the Yadadri district of the Rajapet Mandal participated in the signature-gathering effort for a debt waiver of one lakh rupees over one month.
• On the occasion of PM Samman Nidhi 2000 for the farmers, Mr G. Kishan Reddy, Head of the Central Tourism Department, participated as the Chief Guest at Hythnager and conveyed his gratitude to Modi. Farmers, administrators, and leaders from the BJP and Kisan Morcha participated significantly.
• At the Agriculture Commissionerate in Hyderabad, a memorandum was presented with the demand for prompt compensation for the farmers impacted by the untimely rains.
• Every year, on Jagan Mohan Reddy’s birthday celebration, municipal personnel were presented with brand new clothing as a gift to the municipal workers and the local poor people.
