Early Life and Family Background

Dr. Challa Nuthan Vijay Krishna Rao (Nuthan Challa) was born on 21st April 2000 in Khammam District, Telangana, to Shri Challa Ravi Kumar and Smt. Challa Sunitha. He was raised in a humble and disciplined family environment that instilled in him strong values of hard work, compassion, and social responsibility from a very young age. This nurturing upbringing played a pivotal role in shaping his character and inspiring his lifelong commitment to public service and community welfare.

Educational Qualifications

In 2016, Dr. Nuthan Challa successfully completed his Secondary Board of Education from GHS NSC High School in Khammam, laying a strong academic foundation during his formative years.

He then pursued and completed a Diploma Course from the National Ayurvedic Medical Association (NAMA) in Tamil Nadu in 2018, gaining specialised knowledge in traditional healthcare systems. His educational journey reflects a blend of academic discipline and a growing interest in service-oriented fields, which later influenced his professional and social contributions.

Professional Life and Temple Service

Soon after completing his education, Dr. Nuthan Challa began his professional career in 2015 as Temple In-Charge under Tirumala Tirupati Devastanam, where he provided exceptional services to pilgrims visiting Tirumala and Tirupati.

He ensured smooth arrangements for food, accommodation, and devotional needs, earning appreciation for his dedication and efficiency in managing large-scale pilgrim welfare.

In 2018, he was elevated to the position of Superintendent at Tirumala Tirupati Devastanam for Khammam and Bhadradri-Kothagudem regions, where he continued to uphold high standards of service and administration.

Elevation to Superintendent – Bangalore Zone (2021)

In 2021, Dr. Nuthan Challa was further promoted to the prestigious post of Superintendent of Tirumala Tirupati Devastanam for the Bangalore Zone. He discharged his duties with utmost sincerity, ensuring the smooth functioning of temple operations and pilgrim services in line with the organisation’s rules and ethical standards.

Alongside his temple responsibilities, he also ventured into A1 Class Contracting, balancing multiple professional roles while continuing to serve society with dedication and integrity.

Early Democratic Career and Entry into YSRCP (2017)

From a young age, Dr. Nuthan Challa harboured a strong desire to engage in public service through politics. Inspired by the visionary leadership of Shri. Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy, the founder of the Yuvajana Sramika Rythu Congress Party (YSRCP), he officially joined the party in 2017 and began serving as a committed leader.

He took genuine interest in party activities, participating proactively in every initiative while strictly adhering to the party’s code of conduct and working toward enhancing its public image and outreach.

Elevation to Chairman – YSRCP Youth Association (2018)

In 2018, recognising his sincerity and hard work, Dr. Nuthan Challa was elevated to the position of Chairman of the YSRCP Youth Association for Telangana and Andhra Pradesh States. He fulfilled his responsibilities with complete dedication, focusing on youth empowerment, party strengthening, and addressing the needs of the people in line with YSRCP’s vision.

In 2019, he assumed the responsibility of Youth Association Chairman for both Andhra Pradesh and Telangana, aiming to serve the people more effectively and expand the party’s grassroots presence.

Additional Leadership Roles and Recognition

In 2020, Dr. Nuthan Challa was honoured as the International Human Rights Commission (IHRC) Vice-President from Khammam District for his outstanding service and people-centric approach.

He has also been actively associated with BJTV News as a Reporter for Khammam District since 2020 and simultaneously works as a Milk Distributor, balancing media, business, and political responsibilities.

In 2021, he was appointed Executive Member of Sri Vakula Mata Old Age Home and Rashtra Hindu Parishad (RHP) Khammam District President, further expanding his service to the elderly and Hindu community welfare.

Participation in Major Party Programmes

In 2018, Dr. Nuthan Challa actively participated in the historic Praja Sankalpa Yatra and Sakala Janula Samme, playing a key role in various YSRCP-organised programmes.

On 31 May 2023, he was appointed as State Secretary of the Rashtriya Hindu Parishad (RHP) in Telangana, where he is responsible for organising training programmes and establishing branches across the state.

His appointment recognises his exemplary leadership, dedication, and commitment to promoting the organisation’s values and advancing Hindu community welfare in Telangana.

Social Services and Community Welfare Initiatives

• Dr. Nuthan Challa has consistently fought for the immediate provision of two-bedroom houses to the underprivileged and has been actively involved in resolving water, drainage, and other minor civic issues in villages and zones.
• He has organised numerous community activities, including supplying meals to the elderly and orphan children on his birthday and distributing mineral water to villagers. He has provided financial and humanitarian assistance to fire victims and served the elderly and needy by supplying daily necessities and supporting them during financial hardships.
• Educational and Academic Support 
• Dr. Nuthan Challa strongly believes in the importance of education and has been distributing notebooks, pencils, and pens every year to poor students to reduce school dropouts. He has provided substandard nutrition support to orphans in hostels and arranged new furniture for schools and colleges lacking basic facilities.
• He distributes books, pencils, clothing, and financial assistance to disadvantaged children annually, while also providing emotional support and job opportunities to unemployed graduates.
• Participation in National Celebrations and Awards
• Dr. Nuthan Challa actively participates in school events on national occasions like Republic Day and Independence Day, distributing awards to students who excel in sports and cultural competitions. He has organised many service activities, including blanket distribution to beggars, clothing for the destitute, and meals for orphaned children. Through his persistent efforts, several colony development plans have been successfully implemented, significantly improving living conditions for residents.

Exemplary Services During the COVID-19 Pandemic

• During the first and second waves of the COVID-19 pandemic, Dr. Nuthan Challa provided financial and humanitarian assistance to people affected by lock downs.
• He responded with compassion by distributing face masks, hand sanitizers, and food packets to the underprivileged, along with monetary support to those in distress.
• He also sneaked out to help the affected by distributing vegetables and fruits to villages, the homeless, and municipal workers while strictly following safety protocols.
• Dr. Nuthan Challa conducted awareness demonstrations to educate people on social distancing and precautionary measures to prevent the spread of the coronavirus.
• Once the threat subsided, he arranged for sodium hypochlorite solution to be sprayed across the entire village to ensure the safety of residents.
• In response to Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s call, he actively participated in the Covid Immunization Drive to raise awareness about the importance of free corona vaccination.
• Beyond immediate relief, Dr. Nuthan Challa provided crucial support by distributing groceries and offering financial assistance to individuals suffering from the virus.
• He spent his own money to help struggling families and actively participated in various medical aid initiatives by distributing fruits, gloves, masks, and sanitizers to hospitals and healthcare facilities.
