Nunna Naveen Kumar

Nunna Naveen Kumar is the State General Secretary of Telangana Telugu Yuvatha, from Telangana State. He is well known for his Simplicity. He followed Fairness, and Transparency throughout his life.

Born and Education:

He was born on 15-11-1982. His parents were Gandhi and Laxmi.

In 1997, He studied SSC at Maruthi Vidyanikethan, Suryapet, and completed Intermediate from Excellent junior college, Khammam. Naveen Kumar graduated with a degree from Kavitha Memorial degree college.

Professional Life:

He was a Business Magnet by his profession.

Political Career:

In 2007, Naveen Kumar entered into Active Politics with the Telugu Desam Party(TDP). TDP is a regional Indian political party active in the southern states of Andhra Pradesh and Telangana. The party was founded by N.T.Rama Rao on 29-March-1982. TDP was the first regional party to become the main opposition party at the 8th Lok Sabha from 1984 to 1989. TDP commits to safeguarding “the political, economic, social, and cultural foundations of Telugu-speaking people”.

He becomes Youth Leader of TDP in 2009 and fulfills his responsibilities by taking part in every party program.

Naveen Kumar and party leaders won the TDP candidate who contested as Sarpanch from TDP. From 2009-2020, Naveen Kumar actively participated in MLA, MP elections, regular campaigns. He was selected as a Member of Kamma Vidyarthi Yuvajana Sangham in 2012.

By recognizing Naveen’s tireless work, dedication towards the service the party appointed him as State General Secretary of Telangana Telugu Yuvatha, Khammam, and currently serving in the position.

Telangana Movement:

The Telangana movement refers to a movement for the creation of a new state, Telangana, from the pre-existing state of Andhra Pradesh in India. The new state corresponds to the Telugu-speaking portions of the erstwhile princely state of Hyderabad. After several years of protest and agitation, the central government, under the United Progressive Alliance, decided to bifurcate the existing Andhra Pradesh state, and on 07-February-2014, the Union Cabinet unilaterally cleared the bill for the creation of Telangana. Lasting for almost a decade, this has been one of the most long-lasting movements in South India.

Naveen played an active role during the late 2000s Telangana Separate State Movement spearheaded by now-CM, K.Chandrashekar Rao. He has participated in Hunger Strike, Dharnas, Rasta Rokos, Chalo Hyderabad, Vanta Varpu, Protest Programs, Bike Rallies during the agitation.

Recent Activities

• Being a Social Worker Naveen is always at the forefront of people’s issues.
• Naveen takes part in every problem that the village people face, like giving financial help to poor people, giving concessions if the hospital fee is high, raising funds, etc.
• Naveen fought not to change the old bus stand in Khammam for the district’s needs. He also went to jail in the scuffle.
• He built an NTR statute with the help of 1500 members. Nandamuri Suhasini attended as the chief guest.
• Naveen held a dharna to demand a reduction in petrol and diesel prices.
• Naveen demanded a hike to the GHMC workers who served a lot during the pandemic.
• He conducted a 2-day hunger strike to demand the abolition of the LRS.
• He has been organized Blood donation camps, eye camps in the village. And donates blood to the people who are in an emergency.

 Activities by TDP Activists

-On the occasion of Gandhi Jayanti, Telangana Telugu Youth NTR Memorial Trust jointly organized a mega blood donation drive to help the victims of thalassemia.
Nandamuri Tarakaramaravu’s daughter Daggubati Purandeswari was politely met by TDP youth leader Naveen.

-Telangana Telugu Youth State General Secretary Naveen expressed his heartfelt thanks to the Telugu Desam Party Paleru constituency leaders, activists from various zones, activists, and Nandamuri fans who assisted in making the Nandamuri Taraka Rama Rao statue unveiling program a success in Mutapuram.

-Members of the Telangana Telugudesam party burnt the effigy of Jagan Reddy in protest of the arrest of Chandrababu Naidu in protest of the anarchic rule of the Andhra government in the two Telugu states.

-Farmers in the villages are panicking as the state government is asking them to buy the grain harvested by the farmer with the newly brought laws. TDP activists have demanded that the state government open its eyes and address the plight of farmers in a separate state brought by the people, provide jobs to the unemployed, housing for the poor, and unemployment benefits.

-Naveen and TDP leaders have been celebrating N.T Rama Rao’s birth and death anniversaries and pay tributes to him.

Social Service:

• Naveen Kumar put a lot of effort into the village people’s welfare.
• He conducted Village development activities in the village like laying of CC Roads, Digging of Borewells, Clearance of Drainage systems, and Solving water Problems.
• Naveen protests and holds dharnas against the decisions taken by the government against the people and seeks justice for the people.
• Distributed food and clothes, blankets to the Orphan Children and poor people on the occasion of Naveen’s birthdays.
• Naveen will provide financial support for the dead families of Party Activists.
• He organized the blood camp and medical camp in the village and donated the blood for the needy people.
• Naveen financially assisted the poor people in the village and helped them in all possible ways.
• Helped the handicapped people in all possible ways.
• He fought and solved the issues like pensions, Ration cards, and also the issues relating to Aadhar cards.
• Distributed Books, pads, and Stationary things to High School Students and motivates them to score high marks.
• He stood up for the poor and ensured the development of welfare. He always raises his hands to serve the poor.

Service During Covid First Wave

-Naveen served in the Pandemic time also. He distributes Covid kits to the village people. He provided essential commodities, Masks, Sanitizers to the village and poor people.
-Provided food packets, water bottles to the migrants, arranges buses to go to their villages.
-Conducted awareness programs to prevent Covid-19. Gave financial assistance to Covid-19 victims.
-He provided free food service to the municipal, police, front-line workers who worked a lot during Pandemic Covid-19. Distributed Rice, Vegetables to the Masks, Sanitizers to the Covid victims, and the village people.
-He says covid-19 can be conquered with courage and corona victims should not lose courage. Sodium hypochlorite solution was sprayed all over the village for safety of the village.
-Conducted Annadhanam Program for migrates which is served and satisfied many hungry people.

Service During Covid Second Wave

-Naveen served during Covid Second Wave also. Distributed vegetables and fruits to the village people and needy people in the covid-19 lockdown period.

-During the Pandemic Period, he distributed fruits, food packets, and water bottles to the road siders and distributed blankets.

-He financially helped covid victims by providing vitamin tablets, masks, Sanitizers, and fruits also created awareness on the maintenance of Physical distance and following precautionary measures to prevent the epidemic in Corona.

-He distributed food and rice bags to the migrants and also contributed to them financially.

-Awareness camps and seminars were organized on the Covid-19 vaccine and about the effects of the virus.

-Delivered food to the covid victims by home delivery. Naveen brings oxygen cylinders to the areas where covid victims were being treated.

Personal Life:

Naveen Kumar married Divya. They had two daughters Jaishna and Joshika.
