Nomula Narsimhaiah is the Member of the Legislative Assembly(MLA) of Nagarjuna Sagar Constituency from the TRS party. He was born on 9-01-1956 to Ramulu. He has completed a Bachelor of Law from Osmania University in 1981.

He completed a Master of Arts from Osmania University in 1983. Basically, he hails from an Agricultural family.

In his student life at Osmania University, he has actively led the Students Federation of India. Later, he has joined the Communist Party of India (Marxist). He has been a leading advocate at Nalgonda and Nakrekal judicial courts.

He started his political journey with the CPI-M party. He was a Senior Leader of the CPI(M) party. From 1987-1999, He was elected twice as Mandal Parishath President of Nakrekal.

From 1994-1999, he was elected as Member of, Andhra Pradesh Legislative Assembly. He elected twice as MLA from Nakrekal constituency from 1999-2003 and from 2004-2009. From 1999 to 2009, he was worked as a Floor Leader of CPI(M) in the AP legislative assembly.

Later, he differed from the CPI(M) party’s stand on Telangana and joined the Telangana Rashtra Samithi on 8 April 2014 and contested as TRS party candidate from Nagarjuna Sagar (Assembly constituency) in General Elections 2014 but he defeated by K.Jana Reddy of INC candidate.

In the 2018, Telangana Legislative Elections, he was elected as Member of Legislative Assembly(MLA) from Nagarjunasagar constituency, he defeated senior leader and sitting MLA of Indian National Congress Party K. Jana Reddy by 7771 votes.

Death: 

On 1 December 2020, he died of Cardiac Arrest.
