Neela Nagaraju

Neela Nagaraju is the Mandal Kabaddi Association President of Bhattiprolu. He was born on 03-03-1986 to Subbarao and Neela Baby. He completed SSC at SRS MBH Tenali Municipal Boys High School, Tenali. He attained ITI from Govt college, Godavelli.

Nagaraju entered into Politics with the Indian National Congress(INC) party under the auspicious of Y.S Rajashekar Reddy. He was the Party Activist of the Congress party. In 2010, Nagaraju founded Bharata Nirmana Volunteer Organization.

In 2011, Nagaraju left the Congress party and joined the YSRCP. He has participated in Padayatra along with Sharmila.

He also took part in Jai Samaikyandhra Movement, Special Status. From 2012-2020, he served as SC Cell President, Bhattiprolu Mandal. In 2020, Nagaraju appointed and working as Mandal Kabaddi Association President of Bhattiprolu from the YSRCP.

Social Activities

• Nagaraju is a Social Activist. He did a lot of service for the village people.
• He provided a water facility in High School, solved drainage issues in primary school.
• He has been provided food, dresses to the orphanage people, to the old age people on his birthday every year.
• He gave financial assistance to the village people for funeral programs.
• Nagaraju has been celebrated freedom fighter’s birth and death anniversaries every year and distributes fruits to the poor people.
• Wet and dry bins were distributed to households also created awareness of wet garbage and dry garbage.
  

  Service During Covid-19

• Nagaraju distributed Essential things, Masks, and Sanitizers in the village during the COVID-19 Pandemic lockdown period.
• He was Provided Food&Vegetables to Poor people in lockdown time.
• Provided free food service to the migrants, municipal workers in the pandemic time.
• Nagaraju served nearly 4 months during the pandemic period.
• Awareness was created on how to practice social distance.
• The complete village was sprayed with sodium hypochlorite solution.
