Nalamada Padmavathi Reddy

MLA, Kodad, Nalgonda, Telangana, Congress.

Nalamada Padmavathi Reddy was the Former MLA(Member of Legislative Assembly) of Kodad Constituency from Congress. She was born on 17-06-1967 to Dhanunjaya Reddy in Gadwal.

She has completed a Bachelor of Architecture(B. Arch.) from Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University, Hyderabad from 1985-1990.

She worked as an Architect and Interior Designer in Delhi, Bangalore, and Hyderabad on various projects.

She also practiced interior design in Bangalore for a few years. She married Nalamada Uttam Kumar Reddy, who is the current President of the Telangana Pradesh Congress Committee and former Minister.

Padmavathi was the first women contestant from the Kodad Assembly constituency. She joined the Indian National Congress Party(INC).

In 2014, Telangana Legislative Elections, She was elected as Member of Legislative Assembly(MLA) with a margin of 81,966 votes. She served as Secretary of the Telangana Congress Committee.

  • Senior Congress leader & former MPTC Lakavat Ramarao of Pekla Nayak Tanda, Chintalapalem Mandal, Suryapet district died on Tuesday after getting treatment at Hyderabad Global Hospital. Former MLA of Kodada Padmavathi Reddy Garu paid homage by putting garlands on the physical of Ramarao.
  • Padmavathi Reddy Garu paid tributes to former Prime Minister late PV Narasimha Rao on the occasion of his birth anniversary.
  • Padmavati Garu was said that the sudden death of the former president of India Bharat Ratna Sri Pranab Mukherjee Garu has shocked her. He has led both parliament meetings (Lok Sabha, Rajya Sabha). He has shown his ability as the Union Minister of Finance / Defence / Foreign Affairs. Sealed as one of the greatest presidents in the country. She paid deepest condolences to his family Abhijit and Sharmisht.
  • Former MLA Padmavathi Reddy Garu participated in Moharam celebrations in Huzur Nagar town of Suryapet district.
