Nagesh Sarpanch(Kotte)

Kotte Nagesh is the Sarpanch of Dabbakupalli village, Vatsavai Mandal of Krishna district. He is an unwavering leader who has been in politics since his childhood and has served the people tirelessly.

EDUCATION BACKGROUND:

He was born to a couple of Chinna Ramu and Bhagyamma on 24-04-1988 in Dabbakupalli village.

In 2004, Nagesh studied SSC at Govt school, located at Vatsavai. In 2006, He completed Intermediate from Gayatri junior college, Khammam. Yugandar Naik received his Graduation(Degree) from Gayatri degree college in 2009. In 2012, Nagesh earned his Post Graduation in Economics from Acharya Nagarjuna University. He chooses to enhance his knowledge in the social and political arena, by studying M.Ed from Nova college near Ibrahimpatnam from 2016-2018.

PROFESSIONAL CAREER:

By his profession, he was a News Reporter but due to his involvement in politics, he resigned from his job. He worked as News Reporter from 2012-2020.

POLITICAL LIFE:

Nagesh entered into Active politics during his school days with a passion for politics. In 2006, he joined the Indian National Congress(INC) party. He worked as Party Activist and contributes to each and every activity with a constant spirit and focus. Nagesh switched over Yuvajana Sramika Rythu Congress Party(YSRCP) after the Congress party merges into YSRCP in 2011.

In 2021, Nagesh won with the highest majority as the YSRCP candidate in the Sarpanch elections from Dubbakupalli.

He contributed to all YSRCP programs. Nagesh took part in the Jagan’s Padayatra and he was especially accompanied him to explain the problems at the village and Mandal level.

SOCIAL SERVICE:

• Nagesh responds immediately to any problems people have at the village level.
• He provided welfare schemes for the poor and was financially supportive of them.
• He told the people about the harm caused to the environment by plastic and banned plastic completely in the village.
• He made people aware of “No Masks – No Sells”.
• For the volunteers who rescued the villagers during the corona, Nagesh organizes an awareness meeting every 3 months on corona prevention.
• As part of environmental protection, Nagesh launched a “Tree Planting” program and planted 400 saplings.
• He has been celebrating Great Leader YSR birth and death anniversaries and organizes blood donation camps, fruits distribution to the poor on that day.

NAGESH’S SERVICE IN ORDER TO FULFILL HIS RESPONSIBILITY AS SARPANCH: 

-Dabbakupalli village Sarpanch Nagesh met Andhra Pradesh State Rajya Sabha members and former minister Mopidevi Venkata Ramana and discussed various issues.

-As part of the “Jagananna Greenery program”, plants were planted from Dabbakupalli to Pentelavari Gudem. Sarpanch Nagesh planted saplings along with 1st ward In-charge Chinthala Venkataramana at the event.

-Sarpanch Nagesh, District Agricultural Advisory Committee members, petitioned the Mandal Tehsildar to set up an Aadhaar Center in the Mandal.

-He has been newly set up drainage Burras in Dabbakupalli village as part of the village development program.

-Sarpanch Nagesh held a review meeting with the assistants of various departments of the Village Secretariat in the Village Secretariat and spoke on various topics.

-Sarpanch Nagesh was given an RG to the MRO to get houses for the poor in the village.

-Society Chairman Venkateswara, Sarpanch Nagesh handed over hundreds of crores of loans to the farmers from the Society after finishing Samineni Udayabha’s birthday celebrations.

-Sarpanch Nagesh went to the volunteer’s houses during the fever survey program and found out about their health condition as per the instructions of the Collector in Dubbakupalli village.

 NAGESH’S CONTRIBUTION DURING THE PANDEMIC COVID-19

-As Sarpanch Nagesh took special care of public health during the covid crisis.

-He provided service to the village people along with his friend Kongara Kanaka Rao.

-Village Sarpanch Nagesh and villagers handed over Rs 31,000 to Vatsavai Mandal Tehsildar Rama Nayak and MPDVO SV Prasad for their contribution to the Corona Epidemic Prevention Measures.

-He distributed Essentials, food, Masks, Sanitizers to the village and poor and satisfies the hunger of many people.

-Provided free food service for the police, municipal workers, front-line workers who served a lot during the Pandemic.

-Nagesh paid special attention to the volunteers who rescued the villagers during the corona.

-Created awareness on the maintenance of Physical distance and following precautionary measures to prevent the epidemic in Corona.

-He distributed food and rice bags to the migrants and also contributed to them financially.

-Sodium hypochlorite solution was sprayed all over the village for safety of the village.

-He continued to serve during the second wave of corona also.

-Awareness camps and seminars were organized on the Covid-19 vaccine and about the effects of the virus.

-Nagesh distributed vegetables and fruits to the village people and needy people in the covid-19 lockdown period.

-Conducted Annadhanam Program for migrates which is served and satisfied many hungry people.

-Delivered food for the covid victims, made them mentally strong with his motivation.

-Vatsavai Zone is at the forefront of timely sanitation and vaccination due to Nagesh’s efforts.
