Munugoti Venkateswar Rao

 

Munugoti Venkateswar Rao is the 17th Ward-Councilor of Madhira from the Congress Party. He was born on 17-03-1962 to Sitaramulu in the Matoor Village of Madhira. In 1977, He has completed his SSC Standard from TVM School at Madhira.

Venkateswar Rao started his political journey in 1982 with the Telugu Desam Party(TDP). From 1984-1985, he was elected as Youth Secretary of Madhira from TDP, Khammam, Telangana.

In 1986, Venkateswar Rao Participated in TNTUC(Telugu Nadu Trade Union Council) from Madhira. In 1987, Rao joined the (Communist Party of India) CPI Party. In 1988, Rao was elected as a Town Secretary of the CPI Party from Madhira.

From 1992-1997, Rao was elected as a 15th ward-Member of Madhira from the CPI Party. From 1997-2012, Venkateswar Rao was served as a 16th Ward-Member of the CPI Party from Madhira Town.

In 2014, Venkateswar Rao joined the YSRCP as an Active Member. Later on, He joined the Congress party and was the Active Leader. In 2020, Venkateswar Rao elected as a 17th Ward-Councilor of Congress Party in Madhira, Khammam, Telangana.

For 16 years Venkateswar Rao Founder & President of Kala Parishat Paripalaka Swachand Samsta and Programs are held at the state level every year.

Recent Activities:

• Venkateswar Rao participated in Haritha-Haram, Swacha Bharath programs in his village. Helped to get pensions for the old age people.
• He distributed Masks, sanitizers, Vegetables, Rice to village people at the time of COVID-19 lockdown. He conducted awareness programs to prevent seasonal diseases during the monsoon season.
