Munnur Ravi

Mr. Munnur Ravi is a well-known Indian politician and social activist who, rather than constraining his work to a specific area, has broadened his scope by dedicating himself to social service in various disciplines, including politics as the INC Activist and through organizations such as the Mahabubnagar Development Forum Founder,  in Telangana.

CHILDHOOD AND EDUCATION:

On the 29th of November 1986, Munnur Ravi was born to the couple Late Mr Munnur Narender(Ex-Service Men) and Mrs Munnur Anasuya(Homemaker) and raised in Mababubnagar in the Indian State of Telangana.

Ravi has always been wary of luxury universities. He possessed the standard educational qualifications, such as an SSC Standard from Eves High School (EHS) located at Alwal and a Completed Intermediate course from Government Boys Junior College at Mahabubnagar.

He graduated from Osmania University with a Master of Business Administration from Osmania University in Hyderabad. Despite handling substantial family responsibilities, he always had more extraordinary achievements Professionally and Educationally.

 PROFESSIONAL LIFE:

After obtaining his education, Munnur Ravi joined the National Skill Development Corporation (NSDC), a not-for-profit public limited company whose mission is to encourage skill development by activating the creation of large, high-quality, and for-profit vocational institutions. In this role, Munnur Ravi is responsible for promoting skill development in India.

CAREER IN POLITICS:

Positions in Telangana Rashtra Samithi Vidyarthi Vibhagam:

Ravi Munnur began his political career in 2003 by joining the BRS-Bharat Rashtra Samithi, which is formerly known as Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS) on being inspired by the work of Kalvakuntla Chandrashekhar Rao during the Telangana movement for the separate state of Telangana.

He exposed his leadership skills by serving as a BRS Party Activist and working all the time for the welfare of humankind comprehensively.

After governing the people through difficult times, he relocated to Telangana Rashtra Samiti Vidyarthi Vibhagam (TRSV). He volunteered in the Party as a TRSV Municipal Town Secretary of Mahbubnagar in 2004 due to his perseverance, dedication, and service. Since then, he has served many people with his kind heart by completing the tasks assigned to him and garnering the people’s support.

In recognition of his contributions to the party’s growth, the party offered him the TRSV  District General Secretary of Mahabubabad from 2005 to 2009. He carried out his responsibilities with great care.

In 2009, he was designated as TRSV State General Secretary of Telangana in recognition of his unwavering devotion and efforts for the betterment of humanity. He has displayed a keen interest in every activity for the glory of the respective Society.

Ravi was chosen as the Telangana Student Joint Action Committee General Secretary from 2012 to 2014 of Telangana to recognize his work for the people. In this role, he would continue to deliver services and serve the people in every manner.

Mr Munnur Ravi was appointed as the President of the Manavatha Foundation. He demonstrated his commitment to the people by continuously working for their well-being and development and striving hard for their benefit in 2021.

They involve the community through Health care programs, Medical camps, Personality Development Programs, Self-Employment schemes (women and men), Value-based education camps for children, and assistance for farmers, farming, and the environment.

In addition to his primary responsibilities, he was appointed and has been serving as the District Center Manager to ensure that the initial and subsequent tasks run smoothly.

Activities Performed Politically:

Involvement in Telangana Movement:

As a dedicated Telangana Activist,  Ravi engaged in the Telangana Movement as a passionate TRS party candidate and supporter. He contributed significantly to the team’s success in executing the event. During the Million March agitation in 2009, he was imprisoned in Tank Band, Hyderabad, along with 7000 other members. He just received a judgment in May of 2018.

Ravi participated in every action of the Telangana State Formation Movement. He was imprisoned for involvement in Rallies, Rasta Roko, Bandh Calls, Sagara Haram, and Assembly assault in conjunction with political interference in state creation.

In addition to the Parliamentary Assault and the attack on Mrs Sonia Gandhi’s residence on December 9, 2010.

Party Activities:

• He is a member of the District Headquarters Assembly Constituency in Mahabubnagar. From 2003 until 2014, he worked full-time to enhance the party’s service. In addition, no competent individual was available to steer the Party in the designated course for development.

• After 2014, the situation deteriorated drastically; there was no regard, honor, or care for the genuine activists who struggled to form Telangana State and were imprisoned several times.

Cultural Activities:

• Ravi has been actively organizing and participating in the Bhathukamma festival since 2006, and every year since then, he has enabled it to be a success (Telangana Flower Festival).
• In his role as district Coordinator, he has been working closely with the Chief Minister of Telangana State to spread awareness about the state’s rich cultural history.
• He participated in all of the events associated with it, accompanied the Leaders of that time voluntarily, and completed the duties concerned with elevating the Party’s Prestige with my involvement and honor.

Services Rendered:

• Mr Munnur Ravi exhibited his compassion by contributing financially to the families of those impacted by death and by participating in and helping with the arrangements for the burial of an association member who had perished accidentally.
• Eradicating the concept of caste and religious divisions in society, as well as doing his bit to promote human equality, is something he is passionate about. He is now battling for decent employment for the jobless who are concerned about finding a good job even after graduation.

• Several community service projects, including blankets for beggars, clothes for the homeless, and meals for orphaned children, were scheduled for the duration of the event.
• Many of the colony’s development goals have been met with resounding success as a direct consequence of his efforts, which include advocating for the interests and well-being of the inhabitants.
• Through the Association, Mr Munnur Ravi was able to provide financial assistance to the employees (Drivers) who had been injured in an accident.
• In Mahabubnagar, a petition was submitted to the camp office of the District Collector alongside Collector Mr S. Venkat Rao to enable the family of Mende Balaraj Yadav, who drowned in the canal after drowning in Erragunta pond owing to heavy rains. A thorough investigation has been conducted into the occurrence, and the victims have been urged to receive justice.
• Due to one month of excessive rainfall in Mahabubnagar, the ponds and canals have filled, and many places have been inundated. Mende Balaraj Yadav, a resident of Bandamidipalli in the town attributable to the Erragunta pond and Alugu stream, died on 11-10-2022 after becoming stuck in the Erragunta water flow on 07-10-2022 as a consequence of severe rainfall in Mahbubnagar town. Under the auspices of our Palamoor Development Forum, Mende Balraj Yadav, who comes from a poor family, visited the family and gave its members courage.
• Karukonda On September 19, Mahesh Reddy, a resident of Mahbubnagar’s Palakonda ward, died in an accident on the Palakonda bypass route. Mahesh’s family was offered hope by Munnur Ravi and the organizers of the Mana Palamoor Development Forum when they addressed their family.
• In Mahabubnagar, residences swamped by rain in Sivashaktinagar were examined alongside community residents suffering from sewage water. Our Palamoor Development Forum leaders, Bhandekar Vishwanath Rao, Maitri Yadaya, Patel Venkatesh, Kumar, Naresh, Venkatesh, Srinivas, and Chandrakant, participated in the program.
• Ramachandrapuram Village of Mahbub Nagar Mandal Due to significant precipitation during the last two days, the ponds have filled, and floodwater has reached the neighboring lands and homes, generating fear among the residents of this area. Recognizing this, the members of our Palamoor Development Forum, headed by Munnur Ravi, addressed the flood-affected family and provided them with essential goods to boost their spirits. On this occasion, Munnur Ravi stated that residents in flooded regions should not let rainwater into their homes in the future due to excessive rainfall. There was a call for aid and provision for the local populace.
