I was born on August 1, 1962, into a family with a rich political heritage. My father, the Late Sri Bomma Venkanna, was a respected ex-MLA, while my mother, Smt. Kamala, instilled in me a deep sense of compassion and social responsibility. Growing up in this environment, I was inspired to dedicate my life to social justice and community welfare. I completed my Bachelor of Science (BSc) from Osmania University in 1980, providing me with a strong academic foundation. Later, in 1992, I earned an LLB degree from Marathwada University, setting the stage for my successful career as a lawyer and human rights activist.
I am married to Dr. Rajendra Kumar, and together, we have built a fulfilling family life, raising two accomplished children. Our daughter, Mooga Deepthi, serves as a Commander Pilot with Air India Express, while our son, Dr. Mooga Harshavardhan, is a physiotherapist and successful entrepreneur specializing in the dairy industry. Our family reflects a legacy of service, achievement, and dedication to societal improvement. My academic background, which includes a BSc from Osmania University and an LLB from Marathwada University, has been pivotal in my journey as a lawyer and social activist. My legal education, completed in 1992, enabled me to pursue justice and advocate for the welfare of marginalized communities. My political career took a significant turn in 2014 when I joined the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) in the presence of Honorable Prime Minister Narendra Modi. My alignment with the BJP reflected my commitment to social justice and economic empowerment. Over the years, I have played an active role in grassroots campaigns, policy discussions, and community outreach, becoming a key figure in the party’s mission for inclusive growth and nation-building.
Recognized for my dedication, I was appointed the State Secretary of BJP in Telangana by Shri Bandi Sanjay, the BJP State President. In this role, I have been instrumental in shaping the party’s strategic direction, overseeing campaign efforts, and strengthening the BJP’s presence across Telangana. My leadership has been crucial in mobilizing support and driving the party’s mission forward.
During the COVID-19 pandemic, I demonstrated exceptional leadership by coordinating relief efforts as the Incharge of the Seva Hi Sangathan helpline. I managed the distribution of essential medications and supplies, including one lakh cloth masks for slum dwellers. My initiative also ensured the provision of food and other necessities to migrant workers, showcasing my dedication to both medical and humanitarian needs during the crisis.
As the Coordinator for the Awas Yojana in Sangareddy, I organized meetings with key leaders and assessed progress through formal visits. My efforts were focused on building grassroots connections, fostering unity, and ensuring the effective implementation of the program. Through my leadership, I strengthened the party’s standing across Sangareddy’ s five assembly constituencies.
In my role as District Incharge for Sangareddy, I worked to revitalize the BJP’s influence by gathering data on voters and demographics and establishing booth-level committees. I played a vital role in uniting communities, fostering leadership development, and increasing the participation of party workers. My efforts significantly bolstered the party’s grassroots network in the district. My appointment as a member of the Disha Committee in Karimnagar District reflects my ongoing commitment to governance and social development. In this role, I have contributed to monitoring and reviewing the implementation of key welfare schemes, ensuring that they reach the intended beneficiaries.
As the Managing Director of Venkateshwara Hospital in Karimnagar, I have been instrumental in shaping the hospital’s operations and healthcare strategies. I also established a De-Addiction and Rehabilitation Center to help individuals recover from substance abuse and empower women affected by alcohol-related issues. I serve as the Correspondent of Blossoms Primary School in Karimnagar, where I oversee the academic and operational aspects of the institution. My leadership is focused on fostering creativity, critical thinking, and inclusivity in education.
Prakriti Environment Society, the organization I founded, is more than just an environmental NGO; it is a champion of the human cause. My mission has always been to serve people and the planet equally, ensuring that the NGO operates as a true not-for-profit venture. The organization’s work directly impacts some of the most vulnerable and marginalized communities in Telangana, and I have always ensured that profit is never a motive—instead, the primary goal remains service to society.

Election Campaigns in Various Elections
Dubbaka By-Election: Jayasree was appointed as the in charge of one of the Shakti Kendras in Dubbaka. Her hands-on involvement, which included staying in the constituency for 10 days, was instrumental in leading her team to a significant victory. Under her leadership, Shakti Kendra secured a lead of over 300 votes, contributing to the overall success of the party in the region.
MLC Elections: In the MLC elections, Jayasree was entrusted with the responsibility of overseeing the Ibrahimpatnam Assembly segment. As the in-charge, she played a key role in coordinating campaign efforts, ensuring a strong presence for the party in the constituency, and effectively managing the election strategy.
Huzurabad By-Election: Jayasree’s leadership extended to the Huzurabad by-election, where she was in charge of two Shakti Kendras. Through her strategic approach and dedicated efforts, she successfully led the team to secure a lead in both areas, significantly contributing to the BJP’s performance in the constituency.
GHMC Elections: As a member of the content writing team in the BJP State office, Jayasree contributed to campaign strategies by crafting impactful content and coordinating election efforts in her division. Her involvement ensured smooth communication and helped strengthen the party’s outreach during the campaign.
Sagar By-Election: Jayasree was appointed as the In-Charge for two Shakti Kendras during the Sagar by-election. Despite a challenging political landscape, she stayed on the ground for 10 days, leading her team to secure a majority of 200 votes in one of the Shakti Kendras. Notably, Shakti Kendra was one of only two in the entire Mandal that managed to gain a majority, though the party ultimately lost the election and forfeited the deposit.
Munugodu By-Election: In a booth known to be dominated by communist supporters, Jayasree was tasked with securing support for the BJP. Despite the stiff competition, she managed to secure a majority for the party in the booth. Although she lost the election, her efforts resulted in a close and competitive contest, showcasing her ability to perform in difficult regions.
MCD Elections: Jayasree actively worked across four wards during the MCD elections, playing a critical role in campaign coordination. Her efforts were fruitful as three out of the four candidates she supported won their elections. The one loss was anticipated, as the ward had long been considered a challenging area for the BJP. Jayasree’s contributions in these elections reflect her determination, resilience, and effectiveness in driving results even in politically tough environments.
With the utmost humility, I can confidently say that in each of the by-elections where I was involved, my efforts played a key role in helping the BJP secure a majority.
- Jayasree’s Active Role and Participation in the Pada Yatra-
Participation in Padayatra
During the first phase of the Pada Yatra, Jayasree served as Mahila Pramukh, working closely with her associates to ensure the success of the movement. Despite the lack of local accommodation, she displayed remarkable commitment by participating for 32 out of the 37 days, traveling back and forth daily. Her efforts were instrumental in ensuring significant female participation, which was achieved through meticulous planning and coordination.
In the second and third phases of the Padayatra, Jayasree took on an even greater responsibility as the coordinator for national and state-level leader participation, alongside another member. Through diligent follow-up and strategic coordination, she successfully secured the involvement of 18 national leaders and 65 state-level leaders, a critical achievement that added substantial momentum to the yatra. Jayasree also maintained an active presence throughout these phases, underscoring her dedication.
Although she was not assigned a formal role in the fourth and fifth phases, Jayasree’s commitment remained unwavering. She voluntarily participated for a total of 20 days across these phases, reflecting her deep connection to the cause and her consistent support for the movement.
- Empowering Local Leadership: Jayasree’s Role in the Parliament Pravas Yojana-
Parliament Pravas Yojana
The Parliament Pravas Yojana is a commendable initiative designed to ensure the active participation and engagement of local leaders within their respective wards. This program has invigorated various party activities across parliamentary constituencies, fostering a level of involvement and dynamism that might not have been achievable otherwise.
As part of this initiative, Jayasree has been entrusted with the responsibility of coordinating a cluster of four parliamentary constituencies: Adilabad (reserved for Scheduled Tribes), Peddapalli (reserved for Scheduled Castes), Zaheerabad, and Medak (both General constituencies). Together, these constituencies encompass 28 assembly segments, requiring diligent oversight and coordination. Jayasree’s role is pivotal in streamlining activities across these diverse regions, ensuring seamless communication and effective implementation of party strategies, which ultimately strengthens grassroots political engagement.

Involvement in DNEC Meeting
During the DNEC meeting, Jayasree, along with a three-member support team, was assigned the responsibility of overseeing the arrangements for women dignitaries staying at the Novotel Hotel. She ensured that all aspects of their stay, from check-in to check-out, were handled smoothly, providing them with a comfortable and seamless experience. In addition to managing accommodations, she also coordinated their sightseeing activities, ensuring the guests enjoyed their visit without any logistical issues.
Due to the large number of male guests and the limited availability of volunteers, Jayasree willingly extended her support to assist the male wing as well. She took on additional responsibilities, demonstrating flexibility and leadership in ensuring that all guests, regardless of gender, were well cared for and the event ran efficiently. Her proactive approach contributed significantly to the success of the meeting.
- Swasthya Swayamsevak Abhiyan (Health volunteers) –

Jayasree, as one of the five members of the state committee, played a key leadership role and gave her best efforts to advance the initiative. However, despite her dedication, there is still significant work to be done. The mobilization of health volunteers at the district and booth levels fell short of expectations. While volunteers were successfully organized at the district and Mandal levels, the effort could not extend to the village or booth level as initially planned.
State and district-level workshops were conducted as scheduled, but the volunteer registration goal of 75,000 was not met. Only 5,472 volunteers were registered through the app, with an additional 800 recorded manually but not yet entered into the system. Furthermore, a local social media team, which was essential for outreach and communication, was not established, leaving gaps in the overall strategy.
Jayasree’s Leadership in Crisis: Coordinating COVID-19 Relief Efforts through Seva Hi Sangathan-
During the first phase of the COVID-19 pandemic, Jayasree played a pivotal role in the Seva Hi Sangathan helpline. As the In-Charge, she single-handedly coordinated operations alongside a dedicated group of volunteers. Her responsibilities included managing the procurement and distribution of Remdesivir injections from the control room at the State Office, ensuring timely access to critical medications for those in need.
Additionally, Jayasree spearheaded a large-scale initiative to produce one lakh cloth masks, which were stitched at the NGO’s center and distributed free of charge to slum dwellers and marketplace workers, providing essential protection in densely populated areas. She also mobilized resources to supply milk, food, and buttermilk to migrant workers as they journeyed back to their native homes, ensuring they had sustenance during their difficult travels. Through these efforts, Jayasree demonstrated outstanding leadership and compassion, addressing both medical and humanitarian needs during a time of crisis.

With over 25 years of field experience as the founder of an NGO, Jayasree’s expertise has become a valuable asset in training BJP leaders and members at the grassroots level. Leveraging her deep understanding of fieldwork, she actively contributed to training sessions whenever invited by the team. Jayasree’s focus areas included Atmanirbhar Bharat, Central Government schemes, and personality development, along with other relevant topics as needed. Her practical insights and hands-on approach enriched the training process, helping leaders enhance their skills and knowledge to better serve their communities.
- Strengthening Grassroots Leadership: Jayasree’s Role in Awas Yojana Coordination for Sangareddy-
As the Coordinator for the Awas Yojana in the Sangareddy Assembly Constituency, Jayasree took charge of engaging various stakeholders to ensure the effective implementation of the program. She organized several key meetings with constituency leaders, including Presidents, Secretaries, Morcha Presidents and their teams, as well as senior leaders of the Assembly.
Throughout her efforts, Jayasree conducted six meetings and made two formal visits to assess progress. To foster deeper connections and strengthen solidarity with the grassroots workers, she also made it a point to share meals at the homes of karyakartas. This gesture not only built trust but also reinforced her commitment to the party and the community.
- Jayasree’s Strategic Media Engagement: Press Meets and Issue-Based Communications:
Participation in Press Meet
Whenever Jayasree was in office, she actively participated in press meets, addressing both print and electronic media. Though her media interactions were limited, she engaged in issue-specific discussions with individual outlets when needed. Additionally, Jayasree released short videos on special occasions to highlight key topics and share important messages with the public.
Jayasree Involved in Various Activities as a State Secretary-
As the State Secretary of the BJP, Jayasree has demonstrated immense dedication and leadership through her extensive involvement across 36 of the 38 organizational districts, some of which she visited multiple times, totaling approximately 445 visits. Her visits served various purposes, including acting as a resource person for district-level training classes (Shikshana Shibir), attending District Karyavarga meetings, participating in press conferences and other party activities, and joining the Padayatra. Additionally, Jayasree held the position of District in charge of Sangareddy and coordinated the Parliament Pravas Yojana.
Her performance as State Secretary has been greatly influenced by the guidance of senior leaders like Sri B.L. Santosh and others. Specifically, during an interaction with Sri B.L. Santosh, Jayasree took his advice to heart and implemented it across several key areas during her tenure:
1. Spotting and Nurturing Talent: Jayasree made it a priority to identify the strengths and potential of party workers (karyakartas), recommending them to the attention of district presidents with suggestions to assign them specific responsibilities. She followed up to ensure these individuals were given roles where they could contribute effectively to the party’s growth. Through her efforts, she helped accommodate around 60 previously unrecognized party workers, both male and female, into different key positions within the organization.
2. Motivating Activists: Understanding the importance of unity within the party, Jayasree worked to bridge gaps between active workers and leadership, resolving misunderstandings and communication breakdowns. Her message to the Party Activists was always clear and focused: “No one is bigger than the party, and all efforts must be directed toward strengthening it.” This helped create a motivated and cohesive environment among party workers.
3. Bringing in Influential Candidates: Jayasree played a pivotal role in attracting leaders and influential individuals with strong vote-pooling abilities and financial capacity into the party, ensuring that they would become valuable assets to the organization.
4. Promoting Central Government Schemes: Recognizing the importance of disseminating information about central government schemes, Jayasree created a visually appealing, spiral-bound booklet that highlighted these initiatives. She distributed hard copies to key individuals and shared digital versions with those interested in learning more about these schemes, thereby strengthening the party’s outreach.
5. Addressing Local Issues: During her district visits, Jayasree kept a keen ear to the ground, identifying local issues that required attention but had been neglected. She consistently brought these concerns to the attention of district presidents, district in-charges, and zonal in-charges, ensuring that the party addressed the needs of the local population.
6. Championing Farmer Producing Organizations (FPOs): Jayasree identified herself with the Central Government Scheme for promoting Farmer Producing Organizations (FPOs). Through her NGO, she facilitated the creation of 10 FPOs, each involving at least 500 marginal farmers. Of these, four were developed in collaboration with NABARD, two with NIMSME, and the remaining four were in the process of mobilization and registration.
7. Utilizing Social Media: In line with the guidance from party leaders, Jayasree actively engaged with social media platforms like Facebook. She ensured that her posts focused on promoting positive schemes, exposing the failures of the ruling government, and debunking false claims, all while refraining from posting personal content.
Through her tireless efforts as State Secretary, Jayasree has shown exceptional commitment to the growth and success of the party, while staying aligned with the vision and directives of senior leadership.
Promoting as a Sangareddy District Incharge –
Jayasree took on the crucial role of District in charge for Sangareddy, where she played a key part in strengthening the party’s presence and operations. In this capacity, she was responsible for overseeing party activities, coordinating between local leadership and the state organization, and ensuring the successful implementation of key initiatives. Her leadership involved mobilizing party workers, organizing events, and addressing the concerns of the local population, all while fostering a cohesive environment within the district. Jayasree’s strategic efforts during this period significantly contributed to the party’s growth and influence in the region.
Jayasree’s Contributions as a District Incharge-
As the District in charge of Sangareddy, Jayasree took on the significant task of revitalizing the party’s standing across its five assembly constituencies, two of which were reserved for SCs, and two partial parliamentary constituencies. She led efforts to gather vital data on voters, population demographics, and caste distribution, using this information to strategically strengthen the party’s presence at the grassroots, particularly at the booth level. Her responsibilities included not only building the party’s brand in villages and ensuring the party symbol’s recognition among voters but also fostering leadership development within the district.
Jayasree worked tirelessly to unite all communities and bridge gaps between senior and newly joined leaders, while actively implementing directives from the party’s central leadership. She focused on increasing the participation of party workers in various activities, recruiting strong leaders from other parties, resolving internal conflicts, and ensuring strict adherence to party values and protocols. Additionally, she strengthened relations with the Sangh Parivar and supported their local initiatives, further solidifying the party’s influence within the district.
Jayasree’s Leadership in Sangareddy: Strengthening Party Structure and Grassroots Engagement-
Jayasree has been actively engaged in various initiatives as the District in charge of Sangareddy, making notable contributions to the party’s growth and organization. She made it a priority to visit the district 5-6 times each month, ensuring her presence across all constituencies and covering 21 out of 37 mandals. Through regular meetings with core committee members, Jayasree maintained strong communication and oversight, driving key decisions and activities forward.
One of her major achievements was successfully leading a district-wide padayatra, which covered two constituencies and had a remarkably positive impact on party visibility and support. Under her leadership, the district-level and mandal-level office bearers and Morcha Committees were fully established, creating a solid organizational structure. Additionally, she oversaw the formation of booth-level committees, completing 805 out of 1,557 booths, significantly strengthening the party’s grassroots network.
Jayasree also focused on identifying and addressing local issues, ensuring that district leaders took prompt action to resolve them. She actively involved party aspirants in assembly-level programs, encouraging them to take a leading role in mobilizing support from their constituencies. Furthermore, she completed training classes in four out of the five constituencies, equipping party workers with the skills and knowledge needed to further the party’s goals. Through these efforts, Jayasree has played a pivotal role in solidifying the party’s presence and improving its organizational effectiveness in Sangareddy.
Jayasree’s Participation in Dharnas and Protests:

Jayasree has been an active participant in various public protests and dharnas, advocating for critical issues and standing in solidarity with affected communities. Her public appearances, spanning multiple districts, reflect her commitment to addressing both local and statewide concerns.
In the Nalgonda Raithu Dharna, she joined farmers in protesting for the timely procurement of paddy, amplifying their demand for fair and efficient agricultural policies. During the Telangana Aavirbhava Divas, she took part in celebratory programs across key districts such as Nalgonda, Bhongir, Warangal, and Adilabad, leading a convoy that highlighted the significance of Telangana’s formation and the state’s ongoing development.
In a strong show of support for the Dalit community, Jayasree participated in the “Dalitha Dandora” rally, marching from the office to the iconic Tank Bund by foot, emphasizing the need for greater justice and equality for marginalized groups. Additionally, she actively participated in the Dharna Chowk protests, organized at the party office, where she continued to push for solutions to critical local issues.
Her involvement in the Chalo Gurrampodu Yatra demonstrated her dedication to protecting the rights of indigenous communities, as she stood firmly against the unjust assignment of ST lands to non-tribal entities. Through these public appearances, Jayasree has consistently shown her leadership, determination, and dedication to fighting for the rights of the people.
Jayasree’s Contributions to Key Party Initiatives and Activities-
Jayasree has actively engaged in several significant initiatives under the banner of the BJP, demonstrating her dedication to the party’s mission and community welfare. Among her key contributions was her participation in Sri Kishan Reddyji’s Ashirvada Yatra, a statewide tour designed to strengthen the party’s outreach and connect with grassroots voters.
In addition, Jayasree was deeply involved in the Swasthya Swayamsevak Abhiyan, a health-focused campaign aimed at training volunteers to provide essential medical assistance in rural areas.
Another prominent initiative she contributed to was Sewa Hi Sangathan, a humanitarian program launched during the COVID-19 pandemic. Jayasree worked tirelessly alongside volunteers to provide relief and support to the affected populations, distributing essential supplies and raising awareness about health and safety measures.
