I, Molleti Srinivas, am deeply rooted in the values of rural India, shaped by the close-knit community of Appanapalli in Mamidikuduru Mandal, Dr B. R. Ambedkar Konaseema District, Andhra Pradesh. Born on April 8th, 1970, my upbringing instilled a profound sense of perseverance, community solidarity, and a solid commitment to societal betterment.

My educational journey commenced at Zilla Parishad High School in Mamidikuduru, where I laid the groundwork for my academic pursuits. Continuing my studies at HEC Government Junior College, Mamidikuduru, honed my skills further, paving the way for me to get my MVN, JS and RVR College, Malikipuram. Completing my MA in Political Science from Acharya Nagarjuna University, I fortified my academic credentials, preparing myself for a career dedicated to public service and governance.

In 1989, I embarked on my political journey, aligning myself with the Telugu Desam Party (TDP) under the visionary leadership of N. Chandrababu Naidu. Over the years, I have served as the Village President from 2001 to 2005, contributing significantly to our party’s electoral victories and community welfare initiatives. My tenure as Chairman of Sri Bala Balaji Devasthanam underscored my commitment to cultural preservation and community development, spearheading transformative projects that enriched our heritage.

Appointed as the Mamidikuduru Mandal President in 2020, I have continued championing local governance and political strategies that address grassroots issues and promote inclusive growth. Beyond electoral successes, my involvement in the Samakya Andhra Movement reflects my unwavering advocacy for regional unity and effective governance. These efforts have empowered me to mobilize public support and drive tangible change through strategic activism and community engagement.

Mamidikuduru Mandal President

Early Life and Education

Molleti Srinivas was born on April 08th, 1970, to the couple Shri. Molleti Edukondalu and Smt. Molleti Mangayamma in Appanapalli Village, of Mamidikuduru Mandal, in Dr. B. R. Ambedkar Konaseema District from Andhra Pradesh. Growing up in a rural setting, he was deeply influenced by the close-knit community around him. From a young age, he developed a strong sense of responsibility towards societal improvement. His early experiences in the village instilled in him the values of perseverance and dedication.

Molleti Srinivas’s educational journey began at Zilla Parishad High School in Mamidikuduru, where he completed his SSC. He then pursued his intermediate studies at HEC Government Junior College in Mamidikuduru, where he excelled academically.

Following this, he enrolled at MVN, JS, and RVR College, specializing in political science, to complete his graduation studies. To further his academic pursuits, Molleti Srinivas joined Acharya Nagarjuna University, where he earned his MA. His education laid a strong foundation for his law and public service ambitions.

Dedicated Service and Political Advancement in  Telugu Desam Party (TDP) (May 26, 1989)

Driven by a lifelong commitment to public service, Molleti Srinivas embarked on his political journey on 26-05-1989, aligning himself with the Telugu Desam Party (TDP), a political entity established by N.T. N. Chandrababu Naidu, the Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh, led Rama Rao. Inspired by his family’s legacy, Molleti Srinivas’s unwavering determination propelled him into active politics.

Village President (2000-04)

He was elected Village President, a role he held from 2000 to 2004. His early involvement was marked by significant contributions to the Andhra Pradesh Assembly Elections that year, which showcased his ability to organize and rally support for the party.

Tenure as Chairman of Sri Bala Balaji Devasthanam

Molleti Srinivas served as the Chairman of Sri Bala Balaji Devasthanam from November 16, 2015, to November 15, 2017. He was re-elected for a second term from September 20, 2018, to November 5, 2019. The temple underwent significant development during his leadership, with a substantial investment of approximately one crore fifty lakhs. His tenure was marked by dedicated efforts towards enhancing the temple’s infrastructure and facilities, reflecting his commitment to preserving and promoting the cultural and spiritual heritage of the community.

Promotion as Mandal President (17-10-2020)

On 17-10-2020, Molleti Srinivas was appointed as a Mamidikuduru Mandal President, a role that involves direct engagement with the local community and shaping political strategies at the Mandal level. As a Mandal President, he is responsible for addressing regional issues, coordinating with constituents, and contributing to the development of his Mandal. This role allows him to work closely with the community to address their needs, implement party policies, and drive local initiatives for social and political progress.

Andhra Pradesh Assembly Elections

Molleti Srinivas played a significant role in the 1989 Andhra Pradesh Assembly Elections, contributing to TDP’s performance by organizing party activities and rallying voter support. His efforts in this early career phase demonstrated his potential as a skilled political organizer and leader.

Nagaram Niyogikavargam Election -1994

In 1994, he achieved a significant milestone by leading TDP to victory in the Nagaram Niyogikavargam Election. This win highlighted his practical campaigning skills and strategic planning abilities, establishing him as a key player in local governance and the party’s success.

Nagaram’s Victory – 1999

In 1999, he played a crucial role in the success of TDP candidate Nagaram under Chandrababu Naidu’s (CBN) leadership. His campaigning and mobilizing voters were instrumental in securing this important victory for the party.

Sarpanch and MPTC Elections-2001

His election marked the year 2001 as TDP Sarpanch and his successful leadership in the MPTC Election. His dual victory demonstrated his effective leadership and organizational skills, leading the party to success in both local governance positions.

Mixed Electoral Outcomes: 2006

The year 2006 presented mixed outcomes for Molleti Srinivas, marked by a defeat in the Sarpanch election but a notable triumph in the MPTC election. His strategic campaigning and robust community engagement ensured that, despite the setback, the TDP secured the MPTC position, highlighting his effectiveness in navigating challenging electoral landscapes.

Victory in the 2013 Sarpanch and MPTC Elections

In the 2013 Sarpanch Elections, Molleti Srinivas supported the position of Sarpanch and MPTC from Appanapalli Village. His dedication and strong community support led to a decisive victory, earning him the honourable position with a significant majority of votes.

Support as MPTC & Sarpanch -2021

During the general elections, Molleti Srinivas supported for the prestigious positions of MPTC and Sarpanch in 2021. Despite his dedicated campaign and significant efforts, he narrowly missed securing the position. The outcome was decided by a very slim margin, with Molleti Srinivas falling short by just minor votes. This minor difference in voting percentage left the position vacated.

Samakya Andhra Movement 

From 2012 to 2013, he was pivotal in the Samakya Andhra Movement, a crucial campaign advocating for regional unity and local governance. During this period, he emerged as a key leader in organizing protests and demonstrations to push for the preservation of Samakya Andhra. His leadership involved mobilizing public support by reaching out to citizens, organizing rallies, and staging sit-ins to draw attention to the movement’s goals. In the Sarpanch, MPTC, ZPTC, MPP, MLA, and MP elections, Srinivas strategically ensured that both economic and caste community votes were consistently directed towards the TDP. From 1989 to 2024, his efforts were instrumental in securing victories for the party, serving as a critical leader who mobilized support and coordinated campaign strategies across various electoral levels.
