Mohammed Iqbal

Mohammed Iqbal is the Minority General Secretary of Telangana Pradesh Congress Committee (TPCC) of Telangana. He was born on 10-06-1978 to Mohammed Mahaboob and Khajabee in Gajwel Village and Mandal of Siddipet Dist. He completed SSC Standard from ZPHS High School in 1994 from Ramsagar Village of Rayapole Mandal and Completed Intermediate in the stream of CEC from Govt Junior College in 1996 at Gajwel. In 1999, He studied Graduation from Nagarjuna College at Gajwel. He worked as Secretary of NICU.

During his college days, he started his Political Journey with the Indian National Congress Party(INC) and was the Party Activist. In 1999, He worked as Village Congress President in Ramsagar. From 2000-2005, He worked as Vice- President of Mandal Youth Congress in Doultabad Mandal of Siddipet Dist and Continued as President of Mandal Youth Congress from 2005 to 2008 in Doultabad.

From 2009-2013, He served as Vice-President of the District Youth Congress in Medak Dist. From 2013-2015, He was served as District Congress Secretary of Medak. He was worked as Organizer Secretary Telangana Pradesh Congress Committee (TPCC) Minority from 2015 to 2018. Currently, he is serving as Minority General Secretary of Telangana Pradesh Congress Committee (TPCC) of Telangana for the Congress from 2018 still he continues in that position.

Social Service:

• Iqbal has donated many kits in most of the villages of the Gajwel-Pregnapur Mandal during the COVID-19 Pandemic lockdown period.
• He involves in many of the social activities like Swachch Bharath Abhiyan, Harithaharam, helping poor people in his village.
