Ahmed  

Mohammad Ahmed is an Indian Politician belonging to the TRS Party. He is a prominent TRS leader with plenty of experience in the political field. He is currently working as the Mandal Co-option Member from Mirdoddi, Siddipet district.

Born and Education:

On 2nd August 1992, Ahmed was born to the couple Jhanimiya and Haseena in Alwal.

In 2008, Ahmed completed his schooling at ZP high school, located at Alwal.

Apart from his Political Career, Ahmed was also successful as a Businessman. He ran a Real Estate business.

Political Career of Ahmed:

In 2009, Ahmed officially entered into Active Politics with the Telangana Rastra Samiti(TRS). He worked as an Active Member of the party by taking part in each welfare activity such as Party joining programs, election campaigns, dharnas, rasta rokos, protest programs against injustice, etc.

He was a Dedicated Follower of our Chief Minister Kalvakuntla Chandrashekar Rao and IT Minister KTR. He has a close relationship with Former Dubbak MLA Late Solipeta Ramalinga Reddy.

Telangana Movement:

The Telangana Movement refers to a movement for the creation of a new state, Telangana, from the pre-existing state of Andhra Pradesh in India. The new state corresponds to the Telugu-speaking portions of the erstwhile princely state of Hyderabad. After several years of protest and agitation, the central government, under the United Progressive Alliance, decided to bifurcate the existing Andhra Pradesh state, and on 7 February 2014, the Union Cabinet unilaterally cleared the bill for the creation of Telangana. Lasting for almost a decade, this has been one of the most long-lasting movements in South India.

Ahmed played an active role during the late 2000s Telangana Separate State Movement spearheaded by now-CM, K.Chandrashekar Rao. He took part in dharnas, rastarokos, protest programs, Chalo Hyderabad, Vanta Varpu, Rallies as part of the Telangana Movement.

He was selected and served as Mandal Minority Cell President and fulfills his tasks to accomplish his obligations. He worked in the position for two consecutive terms from 2015-2017, 2017-2019.

During the term of the Minority Cell President, he became more active in politics and has constantly strived for the people’s welfare.

In 2019, Ahmed was appointed as Mandal Co-option Member from Mirdoddi, Siddipet district, and made him always available for the people of Alwal to solve their needs irrespective of time.

TRS Party Activities:

-At the call of TRS Party Working President KTR, Minister Harish Rao, Medak MP, Siddipet District President, on the instructions of the Kotha Prabhakar Reddy, Mandal Co-option Member Ahmed Kalyan Lakshmi distributed checks and KCR kits to the beneficiaries on the occasion of Women’s Day.

-As part of the Women’s Day celebrations, Gram Panchayat Sarpanch Kishtayya Vice MP, Mandal Co-option member honored women employees, Safai Anganwadi teachers, ANM, Asha workers, women CAs, and women ward members at Gram Panchayat Alwal.

-MLC Farooq Hussain said that the welfare of fishermen is the goal of the Telangana state government. MP Gazzela Sailu and ZPTC Lakshmi Lingam left the fish distributed free of cost by the state government in the pond in Khajipur villages. The event was attended by Mamata, Madhu MPTC, Shweta, Chiranjeevi Mandal party presidents Co-option members Mohammad Ahmed, Kazipur village party presidents, and others.

-Medak MP Prabhakar Reddy unveiled the Statue of Telangana Thalli in Mallupalli village. The event was attended by Mohammad Ahmed and Teresa leaders

Social Service:

• Ahmed also served as Social Activist. He always finds a way for Social Service.
• He handed over the Kalyana Lakshmi, Shadi Mubarak checks to the beneficiaries.
• As a part of Environmental Protection, Ahmed has taken an active role by participating in the Clean and green by casting the plants in the village.
• He stood up for the poor and ensured the development of welfare. He always raises his hands to serve the poor.
• During his reign, many development activities have been implemented such as laying roads, setting up water tanks, clearance of drainage issues, power supply, etc.
• On the occasion of Birth, Death Anniversaries of the Political Leaders, Ahmed conducted blood donations, eye camps.
• In order to help the poor in the hospital during emergencies, Ahmed handed over the government-implemented Health Sree cards to them.
• He carries out his responsibilities while looking after the welfare of the people living in the village and zone by clearing the issues related to Water, Drainages, and every minute problem to the individual.
• Distributed Books, pads, and Stationary things to the Students and motivates them to score high marks.
• He provided financial support to the poor people in the village and also donated a certain amount to the merit students for their higher education.

Service During the Pandemic Covid-19

-Ahmed rendered his service to the Alwal people even during the corona which terrorized the whole country.

-He conducted 105days Nithya Annadanam on behalf of BJYM.

-He distributed food and rice bags to the migrants and also contributed to them financially.

-He donates rice bags, vegetables, and medicine to covid victims who are suffering from covid and cannot go out to fetch food.

-He also supported the poor financially by providing essential goods for those who could not find employment or food due to the lockdown.

-Provided annadhanam program to the Police, Municipal, front-line workers who served a lot during the corona crisis.

-Conducted awareness programs on the maintenance of Physical distance and following precautionary measures to prevent the epidemic in Corona.

-Ahmed put effort even during the Covid second wave.

-He distributed vegetables and fruits to the village people and needy people.

-Awareness camps and seminars were organized on the Covid-19 vaccine and about the effects of the virus.

-Organized awareness programs on precautions to be taken to prevent covid and said no need to panic.

-The area infected with the coronavirus has been declared a red zone and people have been given proper precautions and instructions.
