Meravath Muni Naik is an Indian Politician and Sarpanch of Nayakuni Thanda in Nalgonda District from the Political Party INC.
EARLY LIFE AND EDUCATION:
On the 05th of April 1989, Muni Naik was born to the couple Mr. Meravath Seva Naik and Mrs. Ghaju in the Village of Nayakuni Thanda of Thirumalagiri Sagar in Nalgonda district in the Indian State of Telangana.
In the year 2005, Muni Naik acquired his Secondary Board of Education from Siddhartha Vidya Nikethan School located at Nagarjuna Sagar Road in Peddavoora and completed his Intermediate Course in 2007 from Shanthinikethan Junior College placed at Sundar Nagar in Miryalaguda.
He attained his Graduation of Degree in 2010 from Shanthinikethan Degree College placed at Sundar Nagar in Miryalaguda.
CAREER IN SOCIAL LIFE:
Beginning at a young age, Muni Naik had a passion for working in the public service and has been accustomed to service since childhood. He also conducted many service programs in the Village.
With the sole idea of helping the poor in all possible ways, Muni Naik and his Co-Members established an Adarsha Yuvasena Sangam in 2009 and served as the President to serve the people in all ways by leading himself to when they were in difficulty and his pure sense of humor turned him as a great man with humanity.
For his work humility towards the growth and the welfare of the people, He was designated as the Constituency President in Lambadi Rights Fighting Group (లంబాడి హక్కుల పోరాట సమితి) of Nagarjuna Sagar in 2017 by providing services to the people by satisfing the requirements of everyone who appealed to him for assistance.
On continuing his work in the Yuvasena Sangam, Muni Naik was appointed as the District Committee Member of Telangana Tribal Association (తెలంగాణ గిరిజన సంఘం) to bring a solution to the problems faced by people and to continue his duties and serve them all the way.
By assisting people in need, he was earning the support of the whole society. The commitment he demonstrated at an early age to do social service has earned him a reputation as a man of the intellect today.
EARLY CAREER IN POLITICS:
In the year 2013, Muni Naik joined the Indian National Congress (INC) Party which was founded by the Dadabhai Naroji and headed by Sonia Gandhi, with the purpose of addressing the people’s political requirements while also presenting a modest service.
Ever since he was joined the party he ordained as the Party Activist of INC Party and has been constantly working for the people, thinking about their welfare and gaining immense admiration from the people.
For his determination, he was elected as the 7th Ward Member to discharge his duties from 2013 only for the good of the people without compromising on the trust placed in him by the party.
Muni Naik’s unwavering commitment and true effort gained him the position of Youth Congress Constituency Vice President of Nagarjuna Sagar and has been constantly working for the people, thinking about their welfare, and gaining immense admiration from the people.
He extended his service and was elected by the people for the respectable position of Village Sarpanch of Nayakuni Thanda in Thirumalagiri Sagar of Nalgonda District from INC in 2019 to look after the people and the issues they are facing and served with the assigned position.
Party Activities:
- He set up and engaged in every Mandal level, Village level meetings at his own cost and delivered speeches by motivating the youngsters and the upcoming leaders.
- Muni Naik with INC leaders staged a Maha Dharna, appealing to the central government to declare its stance on the procurement of grain just so appropriate justice can be granted to the farmers.
- He was extensively engrossed in many social service activities and worked hard to bring numerous state and central government schemes to the public’s attention and support them in receiving benefits, as well as maintain strong and cordial relationships with individuals from all walks of humanity and leadership.
- He conveyed that the development of party ideologies relies on unemployment and not between religions and castes and he was attracted to the ideologies of the party and works for the party.
- The greatness of Sonia Gandhi was propagated from house to house that the state of Telangana was made possible by Sonia Gandhi and the complications under the Indiramma Housing Schemes were resolved by sanctioning the lands to the holders.
- He is in complete opposition to the state government repealing new agricultural laws and other beneficial elements that will serve the survival of farmers and organizing awareness programs to educate farmers on loans from banks and crop yields.
- A two-day walk led by Muni Naik and CPI (M) state general secretary Kammineni Veerabadram was held to demand compensation for poor people who had lost their lands and homes, as well the lifting of water from the lower level to the upper level with the help of pumps and other equipment in the process of the central government approving the new project.
- Muni Naik participated in a dharna which was held at Delhi demanding that black laws are repealed and he was arrested during the dharna.
- Muni Naik and all the party leaders held a dharna together to protest against the illegal demolition of the houses of poor people.
- For the hefty price of the crops grown by the farmer, Srinivas worked hard for the welfare of the farmers during his reign.
- Muni Naik was unlawfully detained thrice by the police at a public meeting(Bahiranga Sabha) called by KCR, during the Nagarjuna Sagar by-elections, and he was charged with contempt of court. Revanth Reddy, the president of the Telangana Pradesh Congress Committee, held a news conference to voice his displeasure over Muni Naik’s unlawful detention.
Community Activities:
- Muni Naik has been serving the Backward Community People for their growth and recognition in the society.
- To spread awareness about the mission and vision of the LHPS, Many awareness camps have been conducted in the locality and striving hard to preserve or restore dignity.
- He is a staunch opponent of anti-corruption efforts. He said that gaining money via corruption is a disgrace to our nation and that such money is similar to scrap paper. He also stated that individuals who make money through corruption do not deserve to be respected by their peers in society.
- He denounces the sufferings and abuses of Lambadi’s and struggles for their dignity in society, as well as for the protection of their lands that have been unlawfully taken over by the landlords.
- He protested that skyrocketing petrol, diesel, and gas prices would become another problem for ordinary people in the community.
- Dharnas were made by demanding the government to convert Thanda with a population of 500 into gram panchayats.
- In case of any issues with the land of the SC and ST people, he remained and argued the issues and handed over the lands to them.
Social Activities:
- Dirty drains were covered in the expectation that by closing the drains and the Dumping Yards, the odour and sickness that emanated from them would be stopped.
- Venkatesh built a cemetery for the landless and homeless people on the land and Much effort has been made for the construction.
- As a part of environmental protection, Sudharshan Reddy has taken an active role by participating in the Palle Pragathi and Clean and green by casting the plants in the village.
- On focusing the improvement in cleanliness and hygiene in urban and rural areas, in workplaces and homes, Muni Naik Conducted Swachh Bharat Program on the saying of One step towards cleanliness by sanctioning loans for constructing restrooms in every house of the village.
- Muni Naik campaigned for and took action in support of the Swachhta Abhiyaan, which encourages the adoption of cleanliness and the Nail pits for the restoration of water during the Summer season.
- Ration card-related problems have been solved who are struggling with the shortage of essential commodities provided by their government with ration card problem.
- As Pension money from the government is to support old age people to make ends meet but circumstances related to pensions were cleared by providing pensions to elderly people.
- He provided the CM Relief Fund on behalf of the government to those suffering from health problems.
- Muni Naik offered financial support as well as other kinds of relief to the village’s needy people and will be accessible to the village’s residents during their tough times.
- A tremendous deal of effort has been performed into ensuring the safety of locals from the village, which is situated close to the dam. As part of this initiative, an ecumenical relay fast was performed for the people of Chityal and Miryalaguda Districts.
