Melipati Purushotham

Melipati Purushotham is an Indian Politician of YSRCP and State Gandla Corporation Director from Andhra Pradesh.

EARLY LIFE & EDUCATION-

Melipati Purushotham was born on the 10th of January in 1969 to a couple Mr. B Siddaiah Shetty and Mrs. Chandramma in the Village of Bommaiahpalle at  Mandal Vedurukuppam from Chittor in Andhra Pradesh.

In the year 1985, Purushotham completed his SSC in Zilla Parishad High School from  Devalampet village in Vedurukuppam Mandal in Chittoor District of Andhra Pradesh. 

After Completing his tenth Purushotham, he finished Intermediate in the G.J.C College in Penumuru in Chittoor of Indian State of Andhra Pradesh in the Year 1987.

In 1994 Purushotham Completed his Graduation from Dr.B.R.Ambedkar Open University in Tirupati from Andhra Pradesh.

CAREER IN POLITICS:

Purushotham loved to serve people from his childhood. Even in his childhood, he used to provide adequate help to the people around him. And was an active participant in every party meeting held in his village. 

He started his political career by joining the Congress Party as an Active Member in the year 1991.

For the Village Bommaiahpalle at Mandal Veduru Kuppam in Chittor District from Andhra Pradesh Purushotham was appointed as an M.P.P  in 2014.

In the Year 2014, he joined the party YSRCP as an Active Member in the Gangadhara Nellore Constituency from Mandal Vedurukuppam in Chittoor District of Andhra Pradesh.

In the year 2020, He was elected as a  State Gandla Corporation Director in the YSRCP party from the Village of Bommaiahpalle at Mandal Vedurukuppam from Chittor in Andhra Pradesh.

Purushotham is a follower of Deputy CM Sri K. Narayana Swamy. He will strictly follow the rules of the Narayana Swamy in the way of politics. With his assistance and guidelines, Purushotham has the interested to help the people. 

FAMILY IN POLITICS:

From 2007 to 2012 Purushotham’s father Mr. Siddaiah Shetty  Melipati was in politics as an Ex-Sarpanch in the village of Bommaiahpalle in Mandal Vedurukuppam  in the Chittor District of Andhra Pradesh. He continued his services to the village people as a Sarpanch for 5 years.

Party activities:

• He Celebrated the YSRCP formation day, hoisting the party flag, cutting the cake, and organizing various services for activities.
• During the general election season, he campaigned as the party’s full-time leader, tirelessly assisting the incumbent and recruiting more members to ensure the party’s success.
• He Conducted Annadhanam Program, which served and satisfied many hungry people in his village.
• His hard work and commitment to the work made him struggle hard to make his dreams and goals come true, and finally, he rose to the top. He served under the  INC party by helping the below-poverty students unconditionally, irrespective of their caste.
• Purushotham is achieving his goals of serving the people through the YSRCP party to strengthen the party further.
• He set up and engaged in every Mandal level and Village level meeting at his own cost and delivered speeches by motivating the youngsters and the upcoming leaders.
• To strengthen the YSRCP Party Purushotham struggled hard by electing Every member of the party to be strong.
• He struggled hard to explain the benefits of the schemes of the Gadapa Gadapa Program conducted by the YSR.
• On anti-decision of government about 3 capitals, he went on a hunger strike and rallied for 10 days to prohibit that decision.

Rallies and Dharnas:

Purushotham takes part in numerous rallies, dharnas, deekshas, and other events. In addition, he played a crucial role in organizing gatherings attended by a substantial number of activists. He participated in every party activity. 

Purushotham protests, dharnas, Rallies, and state rokos were held against the anti-public and anti-farmer programs taken by the central government.

He with people staged dharnas and rallies saying that the central government should buy paddy because the central government did not buy the crop harvested during the Yasangi period.

He initiated and protested along with the farmers saying that the new agricultural law brought by the center should be utterly opposed to it and should be beneficial to the people.

Social Activities:

• They held meetings on public issues that oppressed the people and worked hard to get them the help they needed from the government.
• On the occasion of the Birth Anniversaries of Political Leaders, Purushotham organizes a Blood Donation Camp and conducts an Annadanam program at his Village and Mandal level.
• Purushotham has performed many developmental programs, Social activities, and Party activities for the welfare of the people. He fought for the issues related to Handicapped Pensions, Widow Pension, Old age Pension, and also the problems of the Ration Card and Health card of the villagers.
• He encourages low-income families to a healthy and prosperous society and provides them with adequate assistance.
• He provided his financial support to the town’s poor people and donated a certain amount to the merit students for their higher education. He is helping women and girls compete equally with men in society and the economy.
• People are working to live safely to make cities and villages clean and green to protect the environment. He encourages farmers to bring in new methods, premier services, and quality products in agriculture.
• He participated in the Praja Sankalp Yatra and  Jagan’s Odarpu Yatra to help people from solving their problems.
• In the village of  Bommaiahpalle at Harizanawada Purushotham Contributed his amount to buy the place for the construction of the school for the better future of the Children.
• To solve the water problems For 5 towns Purushotham has provided the water tanks with his Funds. by that, no one can suffer from water problems in the villages of  Bommaiahpalle.
• In Bommaiahpalle village he provided funds for the construction of four rooms for the Zilla Parishad High School.

Services rendered during the Pandemic:

• He provided financial and humanitarian support to those who were impacted by the lockdown during the first and second waves of Corona. During the crisis, and responded with compassion, aiding people who were in distress and offering further assistance to those who were harmed by the locking down.
• Purushotham came forward to assist people who had been affected by the lockdown by giving vegetables and fruits to villages, the homeless, and Municipality employees while following the procedures in place and distributing Covid Kits who were afflicted with the appropriate sickness while in their home quartine.
• An awareness demonstration was performed to raise awareness about social distance and the need to take precautionary steps in an attempt to eliminate the Corona Epidemic from occurring.
• When the coronavirus was finally exterminated, sodium hypochlorite solution was sprayed across the whole village to ensure that the villagers were not exposed to any harmful effects.
• The Covid Immunization Drive was organized in response to Prime Minister Modi’s plea order to increase awareness among the general population about the need to acquire a free corona vaccination.
• He has conducted awareness programs on the maintenance of Physical distance and following precautionary measures to prevent the epidemic in Corona.
