During the pandemic, I spearheaded initiatives to distribute masks, sanitizers, and essential food items, ensuring that our community remained safe and well-supported. As a member of the Indian National Congress (INC), I continue to strive for progress and positive change, aiming to build a brighter and more equitable future for Medchal-Malkajgiri. Mr. Mekala Rama Krishnudu was born on June 16, 1983, in the quaint village of Yellampet. Growing up in a serene and closely-knit community, he developed strong values and a deep sense of belonging. His journey began at Zilla Parishad High School (ZPHS) in Medchal, where he completed his Secondary School Certificate (SSC) in 1998. This foundational education laid the groundwork for his future academic pursuits, providing him with essential knowledge and a solid educational base.
Pursuing Higher Education at Government College, Medchal
Following his SSC, Mr Rama Krishnudu continued his academic journey at Government College in Medchal. From 2000 to 2002, he diligently pursued his Intermediate studies, further expanding his academic horizons. This period was crucial in shaping his intellectual capabilities and exposing him to a broader spectrum of subjects and ideas. Achieving Academic Excellence at S.P College, Secunderabad

During his Intermediate studies at Government College in Medchal in 2000, Mr. Mekala Rama Krishnudu took his first step into the world of politics by joining the Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad (ABVP). The ABVP, a prominent student organization, provided Mr. Krishnudu with a platform to engage in student-led movements and initiatives. His active participation in ABVP allowed him to immerse himself in grassroots activism and understand the dynamics of student politics.

From 2007 to 2011, Mr Mekala Rama Krishnudu served as the District Farmer President of the Ward Members Association in Ranga Reddy under the BRS. In this role, he dedicated himself to advocating for the rights and needs of farmers. His leadership was instrumental in bridging the gap between farmers and government authorities, ensuring that agricultural policies were shaped to benefit the farming community. In 2014, Mr. Rama Krishnudu became District President of the Telangana Private Udyogula Sangam for the Medchal-Malkajgiri district, again under the BRS. Leveraging funds from the National Rural Employment Guarantee Scheme (NREGS) and Gram Panchayat resources, Mr and Mrs Mekala Vennala Rama Krishnudu initiated and oversaw the construction of concrete cement (CC) roads and efficient drainage systems in Yellampet Village. Additionally, he facilitated the creation of a Vaikunta Dhamam, providing a dedicated and respectful space for funeral rites.
Nursery Establishment in Yellampet Village:
Mr and Mrs. Vennala Rama Krishnudu organised the establishment of a nursery to promote environmental sustainability and beautification in Yellampet Village. This initiative aimed at enhancing green cover and providing saplings for local agricultural needs.
Laying of Three-Line Road to National Highway 49:

Revival of the Bodrai Festival:
After a 20-year hiatus, Mr and Mrs. Vennala Rama Krishnudu successfully revived and organised the Bodrai Festival in 2023. This significant cultural event was celebrated with the enthusiastic participation of the villagers, restoring a sense of community and cultural pride.
Construction of Urudamma Temple:
With the help and support of the local community, Mr and Mrs. Vennala Rama Krishnudu facilitated the construction of the Urudamma Temple. This project aimed to provide a spiritual sanctuary for the villagers and promote cultural continuity.
Construction of Pothalingamaiah and Soudama Temples:

Rasta Rokos
Mr.Rama Krishnudu actively participated in Rasta Rokos (road blockades), a nonviolent protest instrumental in the Telangana movement. His commitment to this form of protest showcased his strategic approach to advocating for statehood.
Hunger Strikes
In addition to participating in marches, rallies, and road blockades, Mr. Rama Krishnudu also engaged in hunger strikes.
