Mekala Lavanya Yadav

Mrs. Mekala Lavanya Yadav is an Indian Politician of BJP and Ex-Mandal Mahila President of M.Turkapally in Yadadri-Bhuvanagiri District, Telangana State.

CAREER IN POLITICS:

Mrs. Mekala Lavanya Yadav entered politics with a passion for serving the people by joining the Bharat Rashtra Samithi(BRS), formerly called Telangana Rashtra Samithi(TRS) as he was highly inspired by the party founder Kalvakuntla Chandrashekar Rao’s sense of work in 2001.

She exposed her leadership skills by serving as the Party Activist and working all the time comprehensively for the welfare of humankind by citing the code of conduct and disciplinary issues.

Upon Joining, Mekala Lavanya Yadav was designated as the Mahila Mandal President of M.Turkapally in Yadadri-Bhuvanagiri from BRS in 2001 to serve the people and tackle the issues raised by executing her tasks effectively and adhering to the party’s policies and guidelines.

Mekala Lavanaya Yadav takes a genuine interest in the Party and participates proactively in every activity as Mahila President, executing her responsibilities in accordance with a code of conduct and for the benefit of the party’s public exposure.

She reinforced her service during the Telangana Movement. As a result of her hard work, Lavanya Yadav was recognized and was elected by the people as the Mahila Mandal President of M.Trukapally from BRS in 2014 of Telangana by strengthening her responsibilities, constantly considering their well-being, and gaining the esteem of the population.

Mrs Lavanya Yadav converted to the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), formed by former Indian Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee and Lal Krishna Advani (Former Deputy Prime Minister of India) in 2023 and continued her service to the people in the M.Turkapally Locality.

Lavanya Yadav has a sincere interest in the Party as a Senior Leader of BJP and actively participates in every activity, carrying out her obligations in accordance with a code of conduct and for the public exposure of the party.

She has been leveraging all of her capabilities for the people and pursuing her satisfying life of public welfare from the time she was handed the positions, briefly outlining and abiding by the rules and regulations for the improvement of the party and the interest of the people.

Participation in Telangana Movement:

During the Telangana Movement, twenty-three villages of Turkapalli Mandal went from town to village and door to sensitize all the women about the need for a special Telangana. They made everyone involved in the Telangana movement.

As a woman, Mekala Lavanya Yadav participated in many movements such as dharnas, protests, initiations, Vanta Varpu, Sakal Janula Samme, and Million March.

Party and Social Activities:

• In the Alair Constituency between 2001 and 2014, as the president of the Mahila Mandal twice with a vast majority, i.e., in 2014 and 2019, she was honored as a woman who encouraged all women in all mandals.
• Under the leadership of Mrs. Lavanya Yadav, many public meetings were organized and attended by many people in Warangal.
• As a Part of the development and welfare fo the people and society, Lavanya Yadav participated in the Pragati Bhavan siege and Assembly siege at the Mandal and district level.
• In Alair Constituency, Mekala Lavanya Yadav came to the TRS by encouraging women in all mandals.
• Mrs. Lavanya Yadav attended the 2021 TRS Party-led Rythu Darbar meeting with her followers at Tank Bund in Hyderabad.
• Lavanya organized a spectacular ceremony for the wedding of a poor woman from the village of Malkapuram in the Turkapalli Mandal. As a result, she stood up for her fellow women and provided everyone with bravery and comfort. The wedding was extravagant because she solicited contributions from the people and added her own funds to the total.
• When Elagala Narayana died unexpectedly in 2019, Lavanya offered his family fifty kg of rice for their livelihood. 

Services provided during the Pandemic:

• During the difficult period of Corona, essential commodities such as rice, vegetables, and meals were arranged for the poor. 
• Medicine kits, masks, and sanitizer were provided to the locality by maintaining the appropriate social distance. 
• Lavanya Yadav arranged lunch in the divisional area as a token of gratitude to the policemen, Nurses, and municipal workers.
