Mekala Karunakar Reddy

Karunakar Reddy is the District Youth Leader of Nalgonda from the TRS Party. He was born on 27-02-1986 to Ravinder Reddy in Chervugattu Village of Narketpally Mandal of Nalgonda.

Education Life:

He has studied his SSC Standard in 2000 from Goutham High School at Hayathnagar, Hyderabad. In 2002, He completed his Intermediate from Geetanjali Junior college at Chityal. In 2008, he has Attained his Graduation B.Sc from Osmania University at Hyderabad.

Political Career:

Karunakar started his political journey in 2000 with the TNSF(Telugu Nadu Students Federation) and was the Student Leader. In 2002, He was the Mandal General Secretary of TNSF at Narketpally. Later on, He joined the Telugu Desam Party and was the Party Activist.

Karunakar was the Mandal President of Telugu Yuvatha at Narketpally. he has Actively participated in Telangana Movement. He held a dharna to protest the bullet attacks in OU.

In 2013, Karunakar was the District Organizing Secretary of Telugu Yuvatha, Nalgonda, Telangana.

Karunakar joined the TRS(Telangana Rashtra Samithi) Party in 2015 and was the Active Member. He was appointed as a District Youth Leader of the TRS Party from Nalgonda, Telangana.

Personal Life: 

Karunakar married the Vijaya and two children. One daughter Sirivennala and One son. He has his Own Business( Restaurant-Vantinti Ruchulu).

Recent Activities

• Karunakar held a dharna for students scholarship at Narketpally. He is holding a dharna for student fee reimbursement.
• Karunakar Siege the highway saying that the bus did not come to college time. He burned the effigy of the CM due to the late grant of the Dharthula Scholarship.
• He did Padayatra for Telangana from Narketpally to Hyderabad.  Karunakar did Padayatra for 3000km with Chandrababu Naidu.
• Karunakar donates idols of Ganesha and Money to the in his Mandal on every Ganesh Festival. Karunakar told the bus depot manager to drive the bus carefully as the college students slipped on the bus and broke their leg.
• Karunakar held a dharna with the students to run the buses on time. In any fight, the buses were frying after talking to the depot manager. Karunakar has arrested for Telangana. A dharna was held in Narketpally to protest against the reduction of bus fares by the government.
• Karunakar talks to the Balakrishna’s Bapanathiram Hospital Chairman and Balakrishna to provide free medical care to a cancer patient.
• In 2014, he campaigned for the victory of Nalgonda MLA (Independent) candidate Kancharla Bhopal Reddy. He was campaigning for the victory of TDP MLA candidate Kodada Bollam Mallaiah Yadav.
• He distributed Masks, sanitizers, Vegetables, Rice t0 the Poor people at the time of the COVID-19 lockdown. Donated masks, sanitizers, food to the Migrants, financially helped them. He Participated in Haritha Haram, Swachh Bharath programs.
• He encouraged the students by conducting awareness programs for each student to study. He did so many Social Activities like he provided Scholarships to the Social Welfare School and also donated food, clothes, Plates, money, and lamps. He sponsored money to poor people.
