His commitment to education extended to a D.Ed (Teacher Training Course) at Nagarkurnool, which he completed in 2009, further solidifying his academic foundation.

UNESCO Teacher Excellence Award

On World Teachers’ Day, TSPTA Nalgonda District President Meesala Mallikarjun was awarded the UNESCO Teacher Excellence Award 2019. The award was presented by Union Minister of State for Home Affairs Kishan Reddy, movie hero Rajasekhar Jivita, Chukka Ramaiah, and Telangana Water Board Chairman Prakash Rao at the NTR Auditorium, Potti Sriramulu Telugu University. This accolade recognizes his outstanding contributions to the teaching profession.

State-Level Best Teachers Felicitation

Meesala Mallikarjun was honored with a memento and shawl by MLC Elimenti Krishna Reddy at Potti Sriramulu Telugu University during the state-level felicitation of 100 best teachers. The event was organized by the Meesala Challaiyya Charitable Seva Samithi, founded and chaired by Mallikarjun, along with Sharadha Educational Society, Nenu Sathamm Foundation, and Sri Sai Shanthi Sahaya Seva Samiti. Sarvepalli Radhakrishna Acharyadevbhava National Award

Meesala Mallikarjun, a teacher from Cherukupalli village in Nalgonda district, was selected for the Sarvepalli Radhakrishna Acharyadevbhava National Award on Teachers’ Day. This prestigious honor, presented by the Valluri Foundation, acknowledged his extensive service in promoting education. Foundation president Srinivas highlighted Mallikarjun’s efforts in recruiting volunteers with his own funds, providing free books to the poor, and actively participating in social programs aimed at educational development.

Advocacy and Action: Meesala Mallikarjun’s Involvement in Social and Political Movements

• The student unions staged a protest and march at the RDO office, demanding that the backward Devarakonda constituency be declared a distinct district centre and Cherukupalli hamlet be declared a Mandal. This conference was attended by youth groups, locals, and others.
• Under the aegis of the state department, the SGT Forum has invited members of parliament Jitender Reddy and Nandi Ellaiah to work on amending the constitution in future parliament sessions to provide the right to vote to PS and UPS teachers. During the Parliamentary session, the MPs informed the Union Home Minister Rajnath Singh that they would do everything possible to change the Constitution. Meesala Mallikarjun, the SGT FORUM TELANGANA STATE Vice President, and others took part in the programme.
• The activists of the SGT Forum petitioned Congress Manifesto Committee Chairman Damodara Rajanarsimha to include MLC voting rights for SGTs in the Congress party manifesto. They ensured that by incorporating it into the manifesto, the desire of 48965 SGTs would be realised.
• CPS workers took part in the Satyagraha in silence, delivering a petition to Father of the Nation Mahatma Gandhi at Nalgonda Gandhi Park, calling for the abolition of CPS and the restoration of OPS. Komatireddy Venkat Reddy, the most recent former MLA, came to the initiation and showed sympathy. The CPS has pledged to do its best to get it cancelled. The function was attended by TSCPSEU Nalgonda District President Kiran Kumar, State Associate President Jacob, State Secretary Lachiram Naik, SGT Forum State Vice President Meesala Mallikarjun, Laxman, and workers.

Mallikarjun Meesala’s Efforts During the COVID-19 Pandemic: Compassion and Community Support

• He provided financial and humanitarian support to those impacted by the lockdown during Corona’s first and second waves. During the crisis, and responded with compassion, aiding people in distress and offering further assistance to those harmed by the locking down.
• Mallikarjun assisted people affected by the lockdown by giving vegetables and fruits to villages, the homeless, and Municipality employees while following the procedures in place and distributing Covid Kits to the members who were afflicted with the appropriate sickness while in their home quartine.
• An awareness demonstration was performed to raise awareness about social distance and the need to take precautionary steps to eliminate the Corona Epidemic.
• When the coronavirus was finally exterminated, sodium hypochlorite solution was sprayed across the whole village to ensure that the villagers were not exposed to any harmful effects.
• The Covid Immunization Drive was organized in response to Prime Minister Modi’s plea to increase awareness among the general population about the need to acquire a free corona vaccination.
