Venkateswara Rao is a Member of APCC and in Incharge of Yerragondapalem Constituency from the Congress Party. He was born on 02-06-1978 to Chandrashekar Rao & Ankamma in Yerragondapalem Village of Prakasam. He completed his SSC Standard from ZPHS in Yerragondapalem. Then after higher education was discontinued due to financial problems. He B.A.
He did Farming to improve the family financially. It was on that occasion that he became aware of society. He has Realized the problems of the farmers. He showed an interest in political matters. Having the qualities of a leader came together. Venkateshwar Rao took every opportunity that came his way.
In 2003, He established the Medabalimi Chandrashekhar Charitable Trust and Many service programs have been conducted by this trust. He provided 5 boreholes were drilled with his own funds while the people of Yerragondapalem were suffering from drinking water problems. In the same way, the garbage cans were set up in the duties. Venkateswara Rao distributed food, clothing, and financial assistance to the disabled, freshwater facilities in schools, cement benches were maintained in the villages with the support of Chandrasekhar Trust.
Venkateshwara Rao started his political journey in 2007 as the Youth President of Ambedkar Nagar in Yerragondapalem. Rao did Many social activities in his villages.
He joined the Prajarajyam Party founded by Chiranjeevi in 2009. In the same way, he took over the posts given by the party as the District Vice-President and Yerragondapalem as the Party in Incharge. Venkateswara Rao did justice to those positions. Similarly, Venkateswara Rao is donating blood to 3200 people based on the inspiration given by Chiranjeevi.
Later in 2012, Venkateswara Rao the Prajarajyam Party merged with Congress and re-entered the Congress party. Since then, the Congress party has been working hard to strengthen and to ensure that the welfare of the people is paramount.
Venkateswara Rao joined the Congress party and was the Active Member. In 2014, Venkateshwar Rao took part in the Samaikyandhra Movement and went on a 9-day hunger strike. In 2017, Congress supremo Venkateswara Rao was elected a Member of the Andhra Pradesh Congress Committee in recognition of his work.
In 2018, Venkateswara Rao has appointed as the Constituency in Incharge of the Yerragondapalam the Congress party. In 2019, he nominated as an MLA of Yerragondapalam Constituency. He visited 320 villages in 90 panchayats in 5 constituencies of the constituency and highlighted the progress made by the Congress party in each and every constituency as well as the greatness of the Congress party throughout the constituency. Venkateswara Rao has been decided as the Congress MLA candidate in 2019. Despite the defeat in that election, he is doubly enthusiastic about directing public issues without any frustration and assuring the people that he has whatever they need.

- He did many Social Activities. The village was sprayed with sodium hypochlorite solution. He involves in many of the social activities like Swachh Bharath Programs & helping poor people in the village.
- Rama Mohan distributed many kits like Essential things, Masks, and sanitizer in most of the villages of Yerragondapalem Mandal during the COVID-19 Pandemic lockdown period, and was Provided food & Vegetables to Poor people during lockdown time.
- Wet and dry bins were distributed to households.
