Meda Venkata Mallikarjuna Reddy

Meda Venkata Mallikarjuna Reddy is a Member of the Legislative Assembly(MLA) of Rajampet Constituency from the YSRCP party. He was born in 1964 to Ramakrishna Reddy.

He has completed B.Sc from Govt Degree College, Rajampet in 1984. Mallikarjuna Reddy married Sucharitha. He has the business of Real estate and infra with the business name Meda Constructions Pvt Ltd which is currently doing some prestigious work across the nation and known for the quality and timely completion of any work.

He started his political journey with the Indian National Congress(INC) party. In 2012, in AP legislative elections he contested as MLA but he lost. Mallikarjuna Reddy quit the Congress party and joined the Telugu Desam Party(TDP). He served as Chief Whip of Andhra Pradesh Govt for 5 Years.

In 2014, in Andhra Pradesh Legislative Elections, he was won the post of Member of Legislative Assembly(MLA) with the highest majority of 83,884 votes from the TDP party. He is a Member of the Tirumala Tirupati Temple Board.

He joined the YSRCP. In 2019, in Andhra Pradesh Legislative Elections, he was elected as Member of Legislative Assembly(MLA) from Rajampet Constituency from the YSRCP party.

Recent Activities:

  • Rajampet legislator and Tirumala Tirupati temple board member Shri Meda Venkata Mallikarjuna Reddy distributed kits to students as part of the Jagananna Education Gift Program at Mannur District High School.
  • Rajampet legislator Venkata Mallikarjuna Reddy inaugurated the newly constructed secretariat at Adapur village in the Nandalur zone.
  • Rajampet legislator Meda Venkata Mallikarjuna Reddy laid a wreath at the statue of Mahatma Gandhi on Ammavari Shala Street in Rajampet town on the occasion of Gandhi Jayanti.
  • Rajampet legislator and member of the governing body of the Tirumala Tirupati Temple, Shri Meda Venkata Mallikarjuna Reddy, launched the YSR Free Agriculture Scheme. The event was attended by Sub Collector, Government Whip Koramutla Srinivasu, Rajampet Parliament Speaker Amarnath Reddy, and MLC Govindareddy.
