Mathangi Kankaraj

Mathangi Kankaraj is a Founder & President of Apthamithra Swachanda Seva Samithi. He was born and bought up in Godavarikhani on 26-March-1980. His parents were Lingaiah & Udamma.

In 2006, Kankaraj founded the Apthamithra Swachanda Seva Samithi, a non-governmental organization aimed at assisting the homeless, orphans, street children, child laborers, and other children living in a society.

Since the organization’s inception, Mr. Kankaraj, in his role as Founder & President and with the support of his Team, has been involved in a wide of social activities by meeting the needs of everyone who has approached him for assistance.

It works with the aim to provide them with a dignified existence and to assist them to become self-sufficient. Since its establishment, the Foundation has provided opportunities for underprivileged children to earn a living and has mentored hundreds of children.

Simultaneously aided the homeless, orphans, street children, child laborers, and youngsters by giving them the support of a strong relationship and organization in order to assist them in growing to a higher level and becoming future.

Primary Motto: Their primary goal is to Educate a Child by providing them a sense of identity as component professionals. Aside from that, they attempt to focus on child labor in the workplace and adopt nonviolent demonstration techniques.

he has taken up the responsibility to protect child rights and especially ensure that no child is subjected to the drudgery of work and exploitation.

ACTIVITIES PERFORMED THROUGH THE APTHAMITHRA SWACHANDA SEVA SAMITHI:

> Operation Smile, a joint venture between the police and the Department of Labor, is aimed at children who have been liberated by the strike. with the authorities through organization-provided Sheltering, protein diet, counseling children and their parents, and finally safely handed over to their parents by conducting awareness programs.

> At Karimnagar, an urban residential hostel has been established with the purpose of providing education to the homeless, child laborers, poor, and needy. For many years, the hostel has operated well.

> A Residential Special Training Center for 3 years in Ramagundam has been running by Rajiv Vidya Mission for the betterment of the educational welfare of the children of out-of-school child laborers in the Peddapalli Revenue Division area.

> The National Child Labor School was established in Godavarikhani by the National Child Labor Society, especially at the residences of slum children, children of migrant workers, and children of nomadic races.

> By Rajiv Education Mission, A worksite school was set up in the place for the worker’s children where the workers came from Orissa and worked in the brick industry

> Deccan Development Society has organized various programs on Biodiversity Conservation in Ramagundam Zone.

> The Rajiv Vidya Mission conducted a survey of out-of-school children belonging to depressed families in the rural areas of the Revenue Division.

> By the District Legal Service Authority Karimnagar, Legal service assistance was provided to the people even when it came to the publicity program organized at the entire Mandal Tahasildhar office.

> Children’s films were screened in cinema theaters in different districts by the Home Department and District Collector for boys and girls studying in different schools.

> He organized the blood camp and medical camp in the village and donated the blood for the needy people. He financially assisted the poor people in the village and helped them in all possible ways.

> Through the Organization, Conducted Annadhanam Program, which is served and satisfied many hungry people in his village.

> They came forward to help the needy who have been affected by lockdown and distributed Food item packets to poor, needy ones, and Municipality workers by following the precautions.
