Marri Mahipal is the Village Development Committee(VDC) President and Social Activist of Kachapur, Bhiknoor Mandal, Kamareddy district.

Early Life:

On 20th-February-1998, Mahipal was born to the couple Laxmaiah and Shyamala. He was raised in Kachapur village, Bhiknoor Mandal.

Education Background:

In 2003, He received his Board of Secondary Education at APRWR high school in Adilabad. He obtained his Intermediate from Sadhana junior college, Kamareddy. In 2001, Mahipal attained his Graduation(B.Tech) from Sabtriya Engineering college, Armoor. Mahipal gets into his higher education with his Master’s. He acquired his M.Tech at DRK college, Bachupally.

Professional Life:

Soon after finishing his education, he started his professional career. He has begun his professional career in the Teaching field. Since 2016, he has been working as a Lecturer. Mahipal initiated Krishna Chaitanya tutorials and further provided tutoring.

A career in Grama Seva Samithi & Village Development Committee:

Lakshmipathi, a Kachapur villager, formed Grama Seva Samithi to promote village development. Mahipal, Prem Raj, Sampath, and Srikanth were Samithi members. On behalf of the Samithi, several development works took place.

On the other hand, Mahipal has a crucial role in Village Development Committee. The purpose of the Village Development Committee is to establish Kachapur village as an Ideal village in Telangana.

Activities carriedout by Mahipal on behalf of VDC:

• They distributed Exam Pads, Stationery things, and school belongings valued at around $8,000 on the Independence Day 15th of August.
• Due to the waste generated by the MSN firm next to the Kachapur hamlet, locals were sick, and fish and animals perished when it rained. The hamlet residents of Kachapur responded swiftly, posting about the incident on social media and filing complaints with every government authority. Under the leadership of the villagers, the Grama Seva Samithi and the firm’s founder Presented a Petition requesting that the company refrain from releasing waste into the village again. Members of Gram Seva Samiti fought tirelessly for 45 days for justice for this occurrence. As compensation for the event, the corporation has handed the villagers of Kachapur village two lakhs for the village’s rehabilitation.
• The villagers of Kachapur have raised 2,500,000 rupees for village development projects. To counter the injustices occurring in the Gram Panchayat, the Village Development Committee constituted 36 representatives from each caste in the village. The Village Development Committee has 44 members, including four Grama Seva Samithi members.
• Due to the gate, there were formerly conflicts between the villages of Lakshmidaripalli and Kachapur.
• Complaining to the Sarpanch and MLA about the solution to the problem was ineffective. In the end, the Gram Seva Samiti and Village Development Committee members addressed the issue with the MPP and signed an agreement. It was stated that Lakshmidripalli would get 25% of the water, and Kachapur village will receive 75%. Finance Minister Harish Rao attended the ceremony and laid the foundation.
• Members of the Gram Seva Samiti and the Village Development Committee incurred the whole expense of cleaning the village’s clogged waterway.
• Mahipal met with the Sarpanch, MP, and MLA to discuss the removal of belt stores.
• For the Bathukamma event, lights and DJ equipment were placed around the pond.
• If someone dies unexpectedly in the village, Mahipal will give cash assistance and food on behalf of the Village Development Committee.
• The Village Development Committee seeks to give every kid a voice so they may raise questions without fear of being judged.
• Mahipal sprays the village twice a month to keep mosquitos at bay.
• Mahipal petitioned the MLA to provide basic village amenities such as water, electricity, and street lighting.

After the issue of MSN company, all the village youth leaders built a “Swagatha Thoranam” in the village. Mettu Sandeep, Mahipal’s parents played a key role in the construction of the Swagatha Thoranam. Pabbbati Raju, Lingam, Nikhil also gave their contributions to the construction. Some More Events in which Mahipal Served Effectively:

• A discussion forum on belt bandh in Kachapur village of Bhikkanur Mandal led to slight tension for a while. However, the public representatives, VDC and Gram Seva Samiti, patiently gathered them together. They calmed them down by telling them not to get angry and cause mischief due to the presence of scattered belt shops in the village. Many people expressed in the forum that due to the availability of alcohol, many people are spending their hard-earned money and become addicted to alcohol. Many people fall ill and die due to excessive consumption of alcohol.
• State Government Whip Kamareddy MLA Gampa Govardhan has assured that he will stand by Kachapur village in the Mandal. The members of Gram Seva Samiti met him politely. On this occasion, the Seva Samiti members explained the village’s problems to Gampa Govardhan. He had a long discussion on the village’s problems, after which Govardhan promised to solve the issues in Kachapur village.
• Nagaswamy Siddaram, a blacksmith from the village, who belongs to a small farmer family, noticed that the farmers in his town were facing severe difficulties during planting and made a rice planting mission to overcome it. In this program, Nagaswamy said that if there were encouragement from the villagers, he would provide many more valuable tools to the farmers at a low price.
• The representatives of the Kachapur village development committee of the Mandal respectfully honoured SS Anand Goud with shawls. Speaking on this occasion, SI Anand Goud suggested that CC cameras be installed to maintain the village’s peace and security. For this, he said that all the villagers should be united and cooperate with the police. Village Development Committee Presidents, Manipal Vice Presidents Kishtareddy, Treasurer Dasharatham and Advisors Shivanandam Goud were present in this program.

Significant Roles of Bhumani Prasad & Neela Chandrasekhar in VDC:

Bhumani Prasad’s wife fell sick due to her abnormal health condition. Bhumani Prasad was an accidental happening to prevent such a situation from anyone. He provided financial assistance to those in need of money and anyone in the village who needed help.

It can be said that Neela Chandrasekhar is an Ideal Person for all. He provided Books, pads, and stationery to the Students and motivated them to score high marks. With the intention that no student could be illiterate due to lack of money, he provided financial support to the poor people in the village. Also, he contributed a certain amount to the merit students for their higher education. He used to educate the poor students who had talent but could not afford to study.

Mahipal’s Effort During the Pandemic Covid-19:

-Mahipal rendered his service to the Kachapur people even during the corona, which terrorized the whole country.

-He distributed food and rice bags to the migrants and contributed financially. He donates rice bags, vegetables, and medicine to covid victims suffering from covid and cannot go out to fetch food.

-He also supported the poor financially by providing essential goods for those who could not find employment or food due to the lockdown.

-Provided Annadhanam program to the Police, Municipal, and front-line workers who served a lot during the corona crisis. Conducted awareness programs on the maintenance of Physical distance and following precautionary measures to prevent the epidemic in Corona.

-Mahipal put effort even during the Covid second wave.

-He distributed vegetables and fruits to the village people and needy people.

-Awareness camps and seminars were organized on the Covid-19 vaccine and the effects of the virus. Organized awareness programs on precautions to prevent covid and said there was no need to panic.

-The area infected with the coronavirus has been declared a red zone, and people have been given proper precautions and instructions.
