Maraboina Narender
AITUC City Organizing Secretary, Rangareddy, Telangana, CPI.
Maraboina Narender is an Indian Politician belonging to the CPI party. He is a well-known CPI leader with extensive political experience. He currently holds the designation AITUC City Organizing Secretary of Rangareddy district, Telangana state.
Early Life:
On 27th December 1966, Narender was born to Naraluri and Anasuyamma. He was raised in Badangpet village.
Political Career of Narender :
Narender always had the utmost zeal and enthusiasm to serve and help needy people. As a young boy, he offered his services voluntarily to the public. In 1985, He officially joined Politics and started his political journey with the Communist Party of India(CPI).
Narender made a huge contribution to the Party’s growth by attending every event. He was chosen as an Active Leader by Party Officials who recognized his ability as a social worker and party worker to aid the people in any manner possible at any given moment.
In 1992, Narender joined the All India Trade Union Congress(AITUC). The All India Trade Union Congress(AITUC) is India’s oldest trade union federation. It is associated with the Communist Party of India. According to provisional statistics from the Ministry of Labour, AITUC had a membership of 14.2 million in 2013. It was founded on 31 October 1920 with Lala Lajpat Rai as its first president.
In the same year as he joined AITUC, Narender took charge as the Organizing Secretary of the All India Trade Union Congress from Hyderabad.
His contribution to the party’s and people’s well-being impressed senior political leaders. Consequently, he was eventually appointed AITUC Rangareddy District Vice President and was acknowledged for effectively carrying out the role of District Vice President.
Later in 2019, Narender becomes Balapur Mandal Assistant Secretary from the CPI party. In order to fulfill his obligations and responsibilities, he faithfully performed his duties.
In 2019, He held the positions of Badangpet ZPHS Management Committee Vice Chairman and SMC Forum Balapur Mandal Convenor effectively. His constant dedication and pure effort made him promote SMC Forum Hyderabad District Co-convenor.
In 2020, He was contested as Balapur 21st Ward Corporator from the CPI but under certain circumstances, he lost the post.
Narender is a politician who began his political career as a party activist and swiftly came to fame as a public leader via his service to the public. His humble service captured the people’s minds, hoping they would connect with him.
During Narender’s 30 years tenure as CPI Leader, he rose to become one of the most powerful leaders in the Mandal itself. He led the party towards a landslide victory in Badangpet.
In 2022, The CPI officials offered him the post of Balapur Mandal Assistant Secretary in his second term and he is currently serving in the position.
A career in BC Hakkula Sadhana Samiti:
Narender has been associated with BC Hakkula Sadhana Samiti since 2019. He played an active role in BC Hakkula Sadhana Samiti by taking part in BC people’s welfare activities.
His active participation in BC Hakkula Sadhana Samiti promoted him to the State Level position in 2022. Narender was appointed and took charge as State Council Member from Telangana. In the same year, the party officials elevated him to the designation of District Assistant Secretary of BC Hakkula Sadhana Samiti in recognition of his tireless effort.
Telangana Movement:
The Telangana Movement refers to a movement for the creation of a new state, Telangana, from the pre-existing state of Andhra Pradesh in India. Lasting for almost a decade, this has been one of the most long-lasting movements in South India. From 2007-2014, Narender played an active role during the late 2000s Telangana Separate State Movement spearheaded by now-CM, K.Chandrashekar Rao.
He took part in Chalo Hyderabad, Vanta Varpu, dharnas, rasta rokos, protest programs, rallies as part during the Telangana Agitation.
Party Activities:
- CPI Balapur Mandal Mayor Chigurintha Parijata Narsimha Reddy and Secretary Narendra asked that the issues at Badang Pate Municipal Corporation’s government primary school be resolved. According to Corporation Commissioner Krishnamohan Reddy, the students are in significant difficulty because of the number of complaints they have filed in the 32nd division, which is within the authority of the local corporators.
- Telangana State Auto Drivers Associations JAC hold a ‘Chlo Raj Bhavan’ program with thousands of transport workers, demanding that the penalty fee of Rs.50 per day for the delay in auto fitness certification is canceled, that the state government not implement the new Motor Vehicles Act, that fuel prices, which are increasing at will, be immediately reduced, and that fuel sales be brought under GST. This activity was made a success due to the participation of Auto Drivers Association members and CPI leaders.
- A discussion on the challenges in government schools was conducted in the office of the MV Foundation Volunteer Organization under the aegis of the Child Rights Protection Platform.
- Representatives of the Children’s Rights Protection Platform spoke on the occasion, urging the government to work hard to eliminate the child labor system. The concerns of students should be brought to the attention of local public officials, and attempts should be made to remedy them. The program was attended by Child Rights Forum State President Rajendra, Swamy, Shaik Mahmood, Venu, Krishna Gow, and Lakshminarayana.
- Shaik Mohammed, a member of MV Foundation, said that government schools should be strengthened. The Child Rights Protection Platform Committee Meeting was held in Hyderabad. In this meeting, teachers’ performance in public schools, student’s education, the government’s work policy, elimination of child labor, etc., should be revealed to the government. Discussions were held on the topics of demanding the government. MV Foundation Rajendra, Swamy, State President of Child Rights Protection Forum Ganji Venu, and others participated in this program.
School Development Activities:
- Even though schools have opened across the state, the government has not provided textbooks and uniforms to students studying in government schools on time. Thus, students struggle to study and are deprived of quality education. Members of the Children’s Rights Protection Forum, Parent’s Association, and school management committees said according to the Right to Education Act – 2009, this would be a violation of children’s rights. They said the government should immediately respond to this matter and supply textbooks and clothing to all the students studying in government schools and work towards protecting the rights of children, the children’s rights protection platform appealed through the form of school management committees.
- The Social Democratic Forum team organized a program titled “Badi Nidra” to understand the status quo of government schools in Telangana state. Visited government schools in all joint districts. Discussed in detail with villagers, village public representatives, and school students. A report was implemented in one school in each district and the forum was produced.
- This activity involves mobilizing parents through ‘Education Movement’ meetings, publicizing the current status of the school widely through social media in collaboration with various social organizations, and conducting social audits to increase the pressure on the education department to increase the level of children’s abilities and bring some demands to the attention of the government.
‘Education Movement’ Demands:
- More than 20% of funds should be allocated for education in the state budget.
- Every primary school should have at least 5 teachers and 5 classrooms should be provided with funds and all infrastructure.
- The government should take appropriate steps to bring all the children who have dropped out of school and become child laborers to schools due to Corona.
- Bridge courses should be conducted for all students who are lagging behind in their academic abilities due to the corona epidemic to enhance their academic abilities.
- Trained English teachers should be appointed immediately to teach English education being introduced by the state government.
- 577 Mandal Education Officers (MEO), 62 Deputy DEOs (Deputy DEOs), and 23 District Education Officers should be immediately appointed regular officers for the supervision of schools in the state.
- Funding for mid-day meals for children should be increased commensurate with the increased prices.
- In the “Mana Uru/ Mana Basti – Manabadi” program, sufficient funds should be allocated to complete all the schools in one phase and not phase-wise.
Service During the Pandemic Covid-19
- Narender rendered his service to the Badangpet people even during the corona which terrorized the whole country.
- He distributed food and rice bags to the migrants and also contributed to them financially.
- He donates rice bags, vegetables, and medicine to covid victims who are suffering from covid and cannot go out to fetch food.
- He also supported the poor financially by providing essential goods for those who could not find employment or food due to the lockdown.
- Provided Annadhanam program to the Police, Municipal, and front-line workers who served a lot during the corona crisis.
- Conducted awareness programs on the maintenance of Physical distance and following precautionary measures to prevent the epidemic in Corona.
- Badangpet put effort even during the Covid second wave. He distributed vegetables and fruits to the village people and needy people.
- Awareness camps and seminars were organized on the Covid-19 vaccine and the effects of the virus. Organized awareness programs on precautions to be taken to prevent covid and said no need to panic.
- The area infected with the coronavirus has been declared a red zone and people have been given proper precautions and instructions.
