Mandla Gurrappa is an Indian Politician and current Ex. Water Irrigation President from Kurnool in the Indian State of Andhra Pradesh.

EARLY LIFE AND EDUCATION-

On the 02nd of June 1977, Gurrappa was born to the couple Mr. Mandla Gurrappa and Mrs. Mandla Venkata Subbamma in the Village of Chabolu of Nandyal Mandal in the Indian State of Andhra Pradesh.

In the year 1994, Gurrappa completed his Secondary Board of Education from the Zilla Parishad High School (ZPHS) located at Chabolu, Andhra Pradesh. Later, he acquired his undergraduate from Rao’s  Junior College, located at Nandyal, Andhra Pradesh.

EARLY CAREER IN PROFESSION-

To reach his family obligations, he has been employed as a Civil Contractor and sustaining the Fabrication Works since 1995.

EARLY CAREER IN POLITICS-

Gurrappa was influenced by many political leaders, among them are Late Sri. Rajiv Gandhi and Late Sri YS. Rajasekhara Reddy is prominent. Among the politicians, Gurrappa is an ardent follower of the late Chief Minister of AP Sri YS. Rajasekhara Reddy.

In the year 2004, Gurrappa began his political career by joining the Indian National Congress Party (INC) which is ruling under the leadership of Sonia Gandhi.

He exposed his leadership skills by serving as a Party Activist and working comprehensively all the time for the welfare of humankind. As a part of INC, Gurrappa expressed a keen interest and performed every activity for the recognition of the respective party.

Gurrappa contested for the reputable position as MPTC in Chabolu from INC during the 2004 election poll, but the slight margin of votes made him lose the position.

After governing the people in the respective party, in 2014, Gurrappa commenced his political career by joining the Telugu Desam Party (TDP) and continued rendering services to the people as an Active Member of TDP.

Gurrappa was a sincere TDP worker right from his joining and propagating its principles from the beginning. He has been deeply attracted by the policies and ideals of the party and the vision of our great leader former Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh and was immensely inspired by the unique schemes introduced by the Nara Chandra Babu Naidu.

He upholds the trust that the people have placed in him and maintains his service, he was selected as the Water Irrigation President at Chabolu Village in Andhra Pradesh by concentrating on the welfare of the people at the moment and dealing with the activities till 2019.

In the year 2019, he debuted the Yuvajana Sramika Rythu Congress Party (YSRCP) founded by Y. S. Jaganmohan Reddy current Chief Minister of the State of Andhra Pradesh.

Since the day he stepped into it, Gurrappa has worked above and beyond his means as a Party Activist for the development of the party and the betterment of society by carrying out his duties properly and adhering to the party’s rules and regulations.

In 2024, Gurrappa joined the Telugu Desam Party (TDP) and continued rendering services to the people as an Active Member of TDP.

Social & Welfare Activities-

• Gurrappa provided financial and humanitarian assistance to the victims of fires in the villages, who had been assaulted by the fires themselves.
• He fulfills his obligations while also looking after the welfare of the people living in the village and zone by resolving concerns relating to water, sanitation, and any other minor problems.
• He served the elderly and needy people in the community by supplying them with the necessities of life and assisting them through times of financial hardship.
• Many service activities, such as blankets for beggars, Slippers for the Migrants, and meals for orphaned children, were distributed.
• He fights for the people’s concerns and the welfare of the people, and many of the colony’s development plans have been a resounding success as a result of his efforts.

Blood Donation Camp-

Gurrappa conducted a Blood Donation Camp in the region of Chabolu and donated blood to the extreme people.
This was started by the Youth Members, with the thought that no INDIAN should die because of lack of blood implemented into reality started a group with countable members and started donating all the blood- Normal groups, Negative Groups, and Rare Groups across INDIA with the help of donors.

Services Rendered During Pandemic COVID-19-

• Gurrappa sneaked away to assist people who had been affected by the lockdown by giving vegetables and fruits to villages, the homeless, and Municipality employees while following the procedures in place.
• He helped the poor by distributing items such as masks, hand sanitizers, and food, as well as monetary assistance.
• An awareness demonstration was performed to raise awareness about social distancing and the need to take precautionary steps in an attempt to eliminate the coronavirus epidemic from occurring.
• When the coronavirus was finally exterminated, sodium hypochlorite solution was sprayed across the whole village to ensure that the villagers were not exposed to any harmful effects.
• The COVID Immunization Drive was organized in response to Prime Minister Modi’s pleatoo increase awareness among the general population about the need to acquire a free coronavirus vaccination.
• During the pandemic, a door-to-door survey was organized and raise awareness about the virus covid and provide precautions to be followed.
