Mallesham Velthuri

Mallesham Velthuri is an Indian politician from the Southern Indian state of Telangana. He is serving as the Congress Senior Leader & Ex-Youth Congress Warangal Parliament General Secretary.

EARLY LIFE & EDUCATION

He was born and bought up at Gurthur Which is a Mandal headquarter of Thorrur on 19-July-1984. His Parents were Ilaiah & Ramakka.

In 1999, He received his Secondary Board of Education at ZP High School, Gurthur, and intermediate from Vidhyabivardhini Junior College in 2001.

Later in 2008, He enrolled Bachelor’s degree from Kakathiya Degree College and completed his education in Kodi Ramamurthy College of Physical Education, Vizianagaram.

CAREER IN POLITICS

He has been very accustomed to political traits since childhood. He fights in the forefront to bring justice to the people. So, In 1999, Mallesham started his political career as an Active Member under Telangana Jana sabha by performing several activities for the welfare of people.

From the Student phase itself, Mallesham has been questioning and resolving the issues of students and the unemployed under the auspices of the NSUI Youth Congress.

Mallesham was drawn into active politics in 2001 with great enthusiasm and the goal of serving the people by Participating in the Telangana Movement and Simultaneously joined the Telangana Rashtra Samiti (TRS) party.

In a Sparkle of time i.e 2003, he was elected as the TRSV District General Secretary of Warangal and has been constantly worked for the people, thinking about their welfare, and gained immense admiration from the people.

Constantly striving for the welfare of the people and expressing his feelings of service, he provided a kind of encouragement with a passion to serve the people as an Incharge in 2004, where he executed his duties with extreme caution while carrying out the Party’s initiatives.

Mallesham quit the TRS in 2006 and join the Indian National Congress (often called INC, Congress).

He has been a Party Activist, working all day for village development and attending every organized Party meeting.

For his impressive performance during the course of his services, Mallesham was designated as the 6th Ward Member and has been served in the position in 2006 with gratitude and perpetually working hard for the well-being of society.

His persistent attention and selfless dedication towards the service made him promoted to the Youth Congress Warangal Parliament General Secretary in 2008 to promote the right perspective in people about the need for holistic and sustainable development by doing his part to alleviate the villager’s hardships.

Under the leadership of Challa Vamshichandar Reddy, many activities have been undertaken for party development.

From the day of inception into politics to the present day, he has been working tirelessly for the welfare of the people, constantly striving for the development of the party and the society, and was rendering desperate service to the society through the positions he has been appointed to.

A charitable trust has been set up to commemorate the death of Duggila Srinivasa Rao. Various service programs are being conducted in their name.

Mallesham played an active role in the Telangana Movement spearheaded by now-CM, K.Chandrashekar Rao, and also took part in Sakala Janula Samme, Hunger Strike, Million March, Chalo Hyderabad, Vanta Varpu, Bahiranga Sabha, Rasta Rocos, and Protest programs, Bike Rallies.

A Padayatra was made from Thorrur to Palakurthi for the process of formation of Telangana. In 2009 of December month a 3-day fast was initiated under the auspices of JAC to resume the initiation of KCR

Recent Activities

• He organized the blood camp and medical camp in the village and donated the blood for the needy people. He financially assisted the poor people in the village and helped them in all possible ways.
• He distributed fruits and medicines to the village’s unhealthy students and needy people.
• Conducted Annadhanam Program, which is served and satisfied many hungry people in his village.
• Money was donated to the families of the poor during the wedding to support their families financially. Mallesham assisted the death-affected family financially for their survival.
• If anyone in the village encounters any problem, he will be at the forefront of the problem. He will assist those who come to him for help and provide the essential things that they require.

Development Activities:

• He Participated in the Village development activities in the village like laying of CC Roads, Digging of Borewells, Putting up Street Lights, Clearance of Drainage systems, and Solving water Problems.
• Conducted many party meetings and development activities for community development. He stood up for the poor and ensured the development of welfare. He always raises his hands to serve the poor.
• Every Year he celebrates Freedom Fighters Birth anniversaries and distributes food packets to the villagers and also conducts Cultural and Traditional programs in the village.
• He accompanied many Mandal level party meetings in the town and also organized Party Membership Programs. Many party development programs were carried out in the village for the growth of the party

Party Activities

• In the Congress government, efforts have been made to provide Indiramma house and pension to the deserving people.
• He is constantly being fought over the People’s problems and petitions are being handed over to the concerned authorities. During Elections, he actively participates in the Door-to-Door election campaign and worked hard to win the party in his locality.
• His hard work and commitment towards the work made him struggle hard to make his dreams and goals come true, and finally, he is rose to the top. He served under the INC party by helping the below-poverty students unconditionally irrespective of their caste.
• INC Party responsibilities and policies are explained to party activists and workers from time to time.
• As a party activist, he will be available to the people in the village at their difficult times.
• He played an active role and raised his voice to ensure welfare schemes for the poor people and helped them to survive their lives.

Pandemic Services

• He came forward to help the needy who have been affected by lockdown and distributed Rice bags, vegetables to the villagers, needy ones, and Municipality workers by following the precautions.
• Food item packets for drivers and migrant laborers were distributed whose livelihood has been affected during this lockdown period.
• He apportioned Masks, Sanitizers, and food to the poor and also contributed to them financially. To spread awareness about social distancing and following precautionary measures to prevent the Epidemic Corona an awareness program has been conducted.
• As part of the drive to eradicate the corona epidemic, Sodium hypochlorite solution was sprayed all over the village for safety of the village.
• He worked all days(Day and Night) during the Covid period and looked after the people. He is constantly available mainly to the poorest people in the zone.
