Mahanthi Vasudeva Rao is the well known Indian Social Activist and the Chairman of Mahanthi Appalanarasayya Mahalaxmi(MAM) Charitable Trust and the Former TDP Mandal Secretary of Laveru in Srikakulam District.
EARLY LIFE AND EDUCATION:
On the 10th of July 1977, Vasudeva Rao was born to the couple Mr. Mahanthi Appalanarasayya and Mrs. Mahanthi Mahalaxmi and raised in Budatavalasa Village in Laveru mandal of Srikakulam District in the Indian State of Andhra Pradesh.
He completed his studies by obtaining his Board of Secondary Education in Budatavalasa village, Srikakulam District.
EARLY POLITICAL CAREER OF VASUDEVA RAO:
In 1997, soon after completing his Education, Vasudeva Rao became a Politician by joining the Telugu Desam party(TDP) and aspired to provide all of the services to the people in attainment, rising to become the Party’s Leader.
Vasudeva Rao became a Devotee of TDP as he liked the successful party style in doing justice to all sections and exposed his leadership skills by serving as the TDP Party Activist and working all the time for the welfare of humankind comprehensively. As a part of TDP, Vasudeva Rao expressed keen interest and performed every activity to recognize the respective party.
Vasudeva Rao established himself as a Public Leader as soon as he joined the party by contributing to the welfare activities of the party. Party officials designated him as a Party Worker and a Social Worker in recognition of his efforts and hard work.
His steadfast dedication and genuine effort earned him the Mandal Secretary of Laveru in Srikakulam District from the TDP Party. He has consistently worked for the people, thinking about their welfare, and winning tremendous public acclaim.
CAREER IN SOCIAL LIFE:
He had a solid ambition to engage in public service early. Vasudeva Rao has served in the service since he was a child. While pursuing his education, he has participated in several service initiatives.
With the sole intention of supporting people in any manner possible, in the year 2016, Vasudeva Rao established Mahanthi Appalanarasayya Mahalaxmi(MAM) Charitable Trust, which was officially registered in 2021 under registration No 132/2021 and has been serving as the Founder and Chairperson of the respective foundation and continued to provide his service to the public, as well.
Vasudeva Rao established the MAM Trust with the mission to serve society. The trust was founded in the Commemoration of Vasudeva Rao’s parents, Appalanarasayya and Mahalakshmi. He has contributed to Society in various ways as he was supposed to. Vasudev Rao educated poor students and established small businesses to provide a living for the uneducated through his MAM Trust.
Even when Vasudeva Rao increased his commitments by embracing respectable positions, there was no deficit in providing services to the people by satisfying the requirements of everyone who appealed to him for assistance.
Vasudeva Rao has been providing clothes for 200 members on the remembrance of Appalanarasayya’s death anniversary and distributes sarees to 800 women on Mahalaxmi’s death anniversary.
Service Undertaken by Vasudeva Rao on behalf of the MAM TRUST:
- Mahanthi Vasudeva Rao was given one month’s worth of medicines by his trust representatives Mahanti Dali Naidu, Mahanti Siva and Kunuku Rambabu to Vinay, who is suffering from a heart problem.
- MAM Trust Chairman Vasudeva Rao inspected the school where he was studying and distributed materials and books to 10th-class students. The event was attended by Budatavalasa Sarpanch Surendra and MPTC Narayana Rao village elders.
- On International Consumers’ Day, Mahanthi Vasudeva Rao handed the necessary facilities, fruits and writing pads to the 10th class students in Chellapalli schools. He says we have a right to everything we buy in the country. We must question our perceptions of the exploiters in the purchasing department.
- The MAM Trust has brought to the notice of Trust Chairman Mahanti Vasudeva Rao Tejesh, a young man suffering from jaundice. Mahanti Vasudeva Rao responded and handed over five thousand rupees.
- Harini, the daughter of Sanyasi Rao from Krishnalanka, was brought to the notice of Mahanti Vasudeva Rao through prominent farmer leader Erram Shetty Anjibabu that neither the Amma Odi scheme coming through the government nor any other projects coming up for the educated children were coming up. Mahanti Vasudeva Rao, president of the MAM Charitable Trust, responded immediately and was given tens of thousands of rupees. Governments have been appealing to the government to provide children for poor families with all the qualifications, not just those with all.
- Mahanthi Appalanarasayya Mahalakshmi(MAM) Charitable Trust Chairman Mahanthi Vasudeva Rao Trust has donated Rs 10,000 to a poor Brahmin family who lost their homes in the recent fire accident occur at Singh Nagar. Dasari Kanaka Rao, Paruchuri Prasad and Team Mahanthi Vasu youth participated in this program.
Services During the Pandemic Covid-19
- Vasudeva Rao rendered his service to the Budatavalasa people even during the corona terrorizing the whole country.
- He distributed food and rice bags to the migrants and contributed financially. He donates rice bags, vegetables, and medicine to covid victims suffering from covid and cannot go out to fetch food.
- He also supported the poor financially by providing essential goods for those who could not find employment or food due to the lockdown.
- Organized Annadhanam program to the Police, Municipal, and front-line workers who served a lot during the corona crisis.
- Conducted awareness programs on the maintenance of Physical distance and following precautionary measures to prevent the epidemic in Corona.
- Vasudeva Rao put effort even during the Covid second wave.
- He distributed vegetables and fruits to the village people and needy people. Awareness camps and seminars were organized on the Covid-19 vaccine and the effects of the virus.
- On behalf of the trust, Vasudeva Rao organized awareness programs on precautions to prevent covid and said no need to panic.
- The area infected with the coronavirus has been declared a red zone, and people have been given proper precautions and instructions.
