Maddileti Yerriswamy

Yerriswamy is an Indian Social Activist and politician from the Indian state of Andhra Pradesh in Pamidi Mandal from the BJYM Party.

Early Life:-

On the 12th of June 2001, Yerriswamy was born to the couple Mr Maddileti Chidanbarappa and Mrs Maddileti Krishnaveni and resided at Katrimala Village in Anantapur District in the Indian State of Andhra Pradesh.

He studied at the Board Secondary School Education in Zill Parishad High School, located at Yeddulapalli, in 2017. And he completed his Intermediate in CV Raman Junior College, Anantapur, in 2019.

In 2021 he acquired his Graduation (Degree) from Master Minds Degree College located at Anantapur.

A Career in ABVP:-

• From his childhood, Yerriswamy was in a view to encourage students from impoverished families who were in desperate need, and he felt compelled to play an essential role in their successful futures.
• To realise this dream, he joined Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad (ABVP) in 2019 with determination and worked as an Active Member of ABVP.
• ABVP, with the aim of national reconstruction, commenced its multi-dimensional and diverse activities as a nationwide student organisation, touching every aspect of the societal spectrum. Yerriswamy has participated in this meeting as an ABVP Member.
• He has a lot of faith in the hidden strength of the entire education community. He thinks students’ responsibilities should be coordinated and directed toward positive activities. As an ABVP Member stays out of partisan politics and looks at every problem through a progressive lens.
• Yerriswamy attended every student’s war meetings. He discussed to the problems of students.
• He also participated and engaged the students in several constructive activities. Running Samskar Kendras, Reading Rooms, Blood Donation Camps, Blood Donors, Book Banks, Health Camps, Employment Training Centres, conducting seminars and symposiums on national and social issues, study groups, etc.

A Career in SFI:-

• After serving as an Active Member of ABVP,  in 2019, Yerriswamy joined the Students Federation of India (SFI) and worked as an Active Member.
• Yerriswamy has protested against the National Education Policy, hike in colleges and school fees, and under-representation of reserved students in IITs.
• He participated with SFI members in the Multiple Citizenship Amendment Act protest organised by SFI members in 2019.
• During the COVID-19 pandemic lockdown in India, he distributed sanitary napkins to students. And assisted isolated students.
• SFI members, along with Yerriswamy and students from various schools and colleges, participated in the march, which continued till the Collectorate demanded recognition of their ‘rights’.
• As an SFI Active Member, Yerriswamy has participated in all student meetings, marches, rallies, and dharnas.
• He fought for the student’s problems, fee reimbursement, and scholarships.

A Career in Social Service:-

• As an ABVP member and SFI member, he fought for students’ problems. And as well as his determination to stand with public issues, he started Social Service in 2020.
• He regularly visits the orphanage and helps integrate disabled, sick, and lonely people.
• He Assists patients in emergencies by taking them to the hospital and helping them with medicines. And he donated personal care items, clothes, blankets, towels etc., to hospitals for some patients.
• Yerriswamy has committed to providing food, clothing and household items to the poor, essentially supporting families with essential items.
• He provides financial support for charitable purposes such as schools and social organisations or teaching basic knowledge of medicine to people and humanitarian activities.
• He gives support in everyday life situations for poor people. 
• He discusses social justice issues with his village members, and he helps people.

A Career In Politics:-

He started his political career as a Party Active Member of the Bharatiya Janata Yuva Morcha (BJYM) Party in 2021.

In 2021 he was elected as a Mandal President from BJYM Party in Katrimala Mandal, Anantapur District. He worked for the people with commitment as the Mandal President. And he led the youth from the front.

As a Mandal president, he rendered necessary service to the people on behalf of the party in his village. And organised village meetings and went door to door to strengthen the party.

Activities Undertaken Recently:-

• During the general election season, he campaigned as the party’s full-time leader, tirelessly assisting the incumbent and recruiting more members to ensure the party’s success.
• Yerriswamy participates in numerous rallies, dharnas, deekshas, and other events. In addition, he played a crucial role in organising gatherings attended by a substantial number of activists. He participated in every party activity.
• On the occasion of the Birth Anniversaries of Political Leaders, Yerriswamy organises a Blood Donation Camp and conducts an Annadanam programme at his Village and Mandal levels.
• He helps poor people who are suffering from illness.
• Conducted the Annadhanam Program, which served and satisfied many hungry people in his village.
• He provides necessary help to the people in his village.
• He enrolls uneducated students in government schools and provides them with the necessities.
• Yerriswamy, as a part of party programs In his village, carried out village development activities, such as removing garbage on roadsides, repairing damaged culverts and wires, rehabilitating dilapidated tanks, repairing roads, and removing seepage.

Services rendered during the Pandemic:-

• He provided financial and humanitarian support to those impacted by the lockdown during Corona’s first and second waves. During the crisis, and responded with compassion, aiding people in distress and offering further assistance to those harmed by the locking down.
• Yerriswamy came forward to assist people affected by the lockdown by giving vegetables and fruits to villages, the homeless, and Municipality employees while following the procedures in place and distributing Covid Kits who were afflicted with the appropriate sickness while in their home quartine.
• An awareness demonstration was performed to raise awareness about social distancing and the need to take precautionary steps to eliminate the Corona Epidemic.
• When the coronavirus was finally exterminated, sodium hypochlorite solution was sprayed across the whole village to ensure that the villagers were not exposed to any harmful effects.
• The Covid Immunization Drive was organised in response to Prime Minister Modi’s plea to increase awareness among the general population about the need to acquire a free corona vaccination.
