M. Babu is the Member of the Legislative Assembly(MLA) of Puthalapattu Constituency from the Yuvajana Sramika Rythu Congress Party(YSRCP).

He was born in 1972 to Munaswamy(Late) in Venkatapuram Village of Chittoor, Andhra Pradesh.

He has completed 5th Standard at ZP High School, Narasingarayanipeta, Chittoor District.

Basically, he hails from an Agricultural family. He has done Builder Business.

Babu started his political journey with the Yuvajana Sramika Rythu Congress Party (YSRCP) and was the Senior Leader.

In 2019, Andhra Pradesh Legislative Elections, he was won the position of Member of Legislative Assembly(MLA) of Puthalapattu with the highest majority of 103,265 votes from the YSRCP.
