Early Political Awakening and Active Community Engagement:

My formative years in the early 1980s were deeply influenced by the political dynamics, sensitizing me to the issues faced by the people of the Medchal Region. Engaging in various social work activities exposed me to the diverse challenges within my community, inspiring me to serve and connect with the people. With a comprehensive understanding of regional problems such as irrigation, finance, socioeconomic disparities, education, and agriculture, I actively participated in discussions across forums. I presented these issues to the public, fostering awareness and dialogue.

Dedicated Social Activism for 15 Years:

For a decade and a half, I’ve been actively involved in successful social activities, making myself available to the people, leaders, and activists, ensuring a direct and impactful connection with the community.

In the Medchal Constituency, my advocacy extended to fighting for fair agricultural prices, addressing electricity concerns, and regularly organizing dharnas at the Jawahar Nagar dumping yard.

I visited households, ensuring the success of various programs in the Medchal constituency, including NEERU-MEERU, JANMABHOOMI, BADIBATTA, CLEAN AND GREEN, TELANGANA FLAG FESTIVAL DOOR BY DOOR, and CYCLING RALLY. Active participation at all levels, including with booth-level and senior leaders, ensured the success of these initiatives.

Since 2004, I’ve been organizing Dharna Programs addressing Rising Daily Needs Prices, Water Problems, Electricity and Gas issues, petrol price hikes, and the Registration of Houses for the Poor and Sanitation. I staunchly opposed corrupt government policies, collaborating with various welfare associations, young leaders, and activists, resulting in policy reversals in the Medchal constituency.

In the 2009 elections, I campaigned for TDP in the Medchal constituency, contributing to a successful outcome. In 2014, my support was extended to Shri. C.H. Mallareddy’s victory as M.P. from the Malkajgiri constituency. From 2014 to the present, I’ve been consistently participating in all regular activities of the TDP, showcasing a sustained commitment to public service.

Early Life and Education:

Kuthadi Ravinder Nath, a prominent political figure, was born on January 16, 1978, in Jawahar Nagar, a town situated in the Kapra Mandal of Medchal-Malkajgiri district, Telangana. Hailing from a humble background, his father, Mr. Kuthadi Narsimha, devoted his career to the field of politics.

In 1996, during his formative years, Ravinder Nath commenced his early education at Nightingale School in Yapral, Secunderabad. His educational journey progressed with an Intermediate in the CEC background in 1998.

Demonstrating a steadfast commitment to learning and personal growth, Ravinder Nath laid the groundwork for his future endeavors through his educational pursuits.

A Journey of Evolution: Venturing into the Political Realm

In 1998, Ravinder Nath embarked on a transformative journey by taking a decisive step into the realm of Indian politics. Under the mentorship of Dore Raju, he joined the Indian National Congress Party, recognizing the potential to effect significant change on a larger scale. This marked the initiation of his dedicated commitment to the ideals of the party.

Political Affiliation and Engagement in TDP Party:

Ravinder Nath has emerged as a stalwart figure in the political landscape, demonstrating unwavering dedication and commitment since 1998. Making a strategic move, he aligned himself with the Telugu Desam Party (TDP), showcasing admiration for the leadership of the former Chief Minister, Shri Nara Chandrababu Naidu, right from the inception of his political awareness. His journey in TDP underscores not just political allegiance but a deep understanding of and connection with the party’s principles.

Leadership in Student Movements (2003):

Ravinder Nath’s leadership prowess came to the fore in 2003 when he assumed the role of Telugu Student Leader. During his tenure, he spearheaded initiatives aimed at addressing local issues and fostering holistic community development. This marked the beginning of his impactful journey in leadership within the student community.

Expanding Responsibilities (2005):

In 2005, Ravinder Nath elevated his political responsibilities by taking on the role of Jawahar Nagar ST Cell Leader within the Telugu Desam Party. Notably, his focus on inclusive growth and empowerment of the youth became prominent during this period. This expansion showcased his commitment to multifaceted community development.

Continued Service and Youth Empowerment (2007):

Ravinder Nath’s dedication to community service and his proactive stance on social issues led him to serve as the Jawahar Nagar Telugu Youth President in 2007. From 2009 to 2011, Ravinder Nath assumed the crucial role of Balaji Nagar Gram Panchayat Leader within the Telugu Desam Party. In 2018, Ravinder Nath took on the pivotal role of Coordinator for Kapra, Medchal, and Shamirpet under the Telugu Desam Party in the Medchal Constituency. Nara Chandrababu Naidu, Ravinder Nath not only fulfilled his duties to the Lord but also stood steadfastly by TDP leaders during challenging times.

Embracing the Indian National Congress(INC): A New Chapter in Ravinder Nath’s Political Journey-

In the 2023 Assembly Elections, Ravinder Nath officially became a member of the Indian National Congress Party, driven by a vision for substantial change and a commitment to the party’s principles.

Swiftly, he was recognized for his leadership capabilities, taking on the role of Medchal Constituency Co-Ordinator in 2023, where he spearheaded initiatives to tackle local issues and promote community development.

1.NEERU-MEERU Initiative Led by Ravinder Nath:

The Neeru-Meeru initiative, championed by the Andhra Pradesh government and actively participated in by Ravinder Nath and TDP Leaders, addresses the critical issue of man-made drought and water scarcity in the state. This holistic campaign involves coordinated efforts at the state, district, and sub-district levels to promote water conservation.

The initiative adopts a sustainable development approach, emphasizing comprehensive planning for river basins and sub-basins. To ensure effective collaboration between departments and to intensify water conservation efforts, the government launched Neeru-Meeru, which translates to Water and You.

Ravinder Nath conceptualizes Neeru-Meeru as a means to create awareness and encourage public participation in conservation endeavors led by various government departments. Ravinder Nath played an active role in the Janmabhoomi program, a significant statewide initiative with three overarching objectives:

1. Prajala Vaddaku Palana (Administration to the Doorsteps of the People):

The program aimed to bring governance directly to the people. Ravinder Nath, extensively covering the Medchal constituency, visited households to facilitate direct interaction between citizens and government officials. Prajala Vaddaku Palana (PVP) served as a platform for individuals to express their concerns and grievances directly to state officials. This two-way communication fostered a better understanding of the challenges faced by both the common people and the government.

The program’s primary intention was to build confidence among citizens in the bureaucracy and the government by establishing direct contact during Gram Sabhas. This approach allowed ministers, district collectors, revenue officers, and development functionaries to engage with communities, discuss problems, and work collaboratively to find solutions.

2. Shramadanam (Donation of Labor):

The second facet, Shramadanam, emerged as a logical extension of PVP. Recognizing the public’s interest in contributing through labor and donations during PVP, the government initiated the ‘Shramadanam’ program. Ravinder Nath actively participated in Shramadanam, engaging in activities such as repairing irrigation canals, school buildings, roads, silted water tanks, and constructing compound walls. The program witnessed a spontaneous response from the public, highlighting its success in fostering community participation.

In response to the declining enrollment in government schools due to the emergence of private English medium schools, the district administration, under the leadership of Ravinder Nath, initiated a transformative campaign known as “Badibata.”

The primary objective of Badibata was to address the low enrollment of students, especially those in the age group of fourteen who had dropped out of school. This week-long student enrollment drive aimed to identify and enroll children back into government schools, ensuring inclusivity, quality education, and maintaining standards of sanitation and hygiene in schools, including special training centers for children from migrant families.

Ravinder Nath actively communicated to parents about English medium schools operated by the government, responding to parental demand. This strategic move was crucial in dispelling misconceptions about the quality of education in government schools.

Setting Targets for Enrollment:
Ravinder Nath set ambitious targets, aiming for a significant increase in student enrollment, particularly in schools facing challenges like zero enrollment and high dropout rates. He envisioned a minimum five percent increase through the Badibata program.

Promoting Cleanliness and Reducing Plastic Usage:
Understanding the severe environmental consequences of plastic pollution, Ravinder Nath initiated a comprehensive drive advocating the reduction of plastic usage. He organized campaigns and sought the collaboration of organizations to make the drive a resounding success. The primary objective was to raise awareness about the detrimental effects of plastic, emphasizing its slow decomposition rate and the ensuing harm to soil, water supply, and wildlife.

During the TELANGANA SAKALA JANULA SAMME period, Ravinder Nath engaged in numerous dharnas, connecting with the public at their doorsteps. With a dedicated focus on understanding the concerns of the people, he pledged unwavering support, assuring assistance whenever needed. Telangana, the 29th and youngest state in India, was formed in June 2014, with Hyderabad designated as the joint capital of both Telangana and Andhra Pradesh for a decade.

Annual Celebration of Telangana Formation Day:
Ravinder Nath annually celebrated Telangana Formation Day with grandeur, orchestrating a series of events that highlighted the rich cultural tapestry of the state. The festivities included diverse cultural activities, a food festival showcasing Telangana cuisines, and a vibrant rally featuring folk artists, all contributing to the festive atmosphere.

Honoring the Sacrifices and Contributions:
In his commemorations, Ravinder Nath paid tribute to the students who sacrificed their lives during the Telangana movement. The dumping ground, having reached its saturation point, emanates not only foul odors but also poses severe health risks to the local populace. The air is thick with pollutants, and the groundwater, tainted by the leachate from decomposing waste, has become a health hazard.

Health Hazards and Water Contamination:
The health repercussions for the residents are dire. In addition to the unbearable stench, water from taps carries an oily layer, signaling contamination. Groundwater analysis reveals alarming levels of Total Dissolved Salts (TDS) and harmful chemicals, potentially causing kidney stones and cardiovascular diseases. Magnesium abundance adds to the list of health concerns, impacting gastric well-being.

Advocacy through Dharnas:
In response to these alarming conditions, Ravinder Nath spearheaded numerous dharnas, rallying residents and social organizers. The objective was clear — the removal of the Jawahar Nagar dumping yard. The community, plagued by health, air, and water issues, found a champion in Nath, who consistently planned and executed dharnas, amplifying their plea for a healthier living environment.
