Kurasala Kannababu is the Minister of Agriculture in Andhra Pradesh and MLA(Member of legislative assembly) of YSRCP from Kakinada Rural.
He was born in 1970 to K.Satyannarayana in Ramanayyapeta, Kakinada, Andhra Pradesh.
He completed B.Com. Kannababu has completed MA (Sociology) from Kakatiya University & M.A.(Public Administration) from Dr. B.R. Ambedkar Open University, Hyderabad. He was worked as a Journalist.
Kannababu started his political journey with the Praja Rajyam Party and was served as an MLA(Member of legislative assembly) from Kakinada Rural from 2009-2014.
He joined the Indian National Congress in 2012 During The Merger of the Praja Rajyam Party With the Indian National Congress.
He quit Indian National Congress in 2014 and contested as an Independent in 2014 and joined the YSR Congress Party in 2016.
In 2019, He was serving as an MLA(Member of the Legislative Assembly) from Kakinada Rural of YSRCP.
