Kurangi Ajay

Kurangi Ajay is the Mandal President of Seethampeta of Srikakulam district from the BJP. He is well known for his simplicity. His theories and leadership values ​​are ideal for everyone.

BORN AND EDUCATION:

He was born to the couple of Mokalingam and Mangamma on 15-06-1982 in Seethampeta village.

Ajay completed his schooling at ZPHS, Seethampeta. He earned his undergraduate(Intermediate) from Govt junior college located at Gumalshanpuram.

POLITICAL LIFE:

Ajay began his political career with the Communist Party of India(CPI). He has contributed to every party activity as an Activist of the party. In 2013, He was elected as District Secretary of Srikakulam from the CPI party. His active participation in the party brings him to designate District President of All India Youth Federation in 2015.

In 2016, Ajay gained a State-level designation as CPI State Council Member. He resigned from the CPI party and switched to the Bharatiya Janata Party(BJP) in 2020. He has faced many setbacks since joining the party and has become close to the people by sharing in their hardships.

Ajay, who became popular shortly after joining the party, has been appointed BJP Mandal President of Seethampeta from Srikakulam district. Ajay said that his responsibilities increased as he took over as the Mandal president and that he would maintain the confidence that the party had placed in him.

He conducted state-level party meetings, spread party ideologies across the country. He has participated in the Samaikyandhra Movement took part in Dharnas, Rasta Rokos, Hunger Strikes, Rallys, as part of the Movement.

Ajay fought over tribals issues such as provide water supply to them and for sanctioning of government schemes. He made aware of updated technology to the Girijanas.

AJAY HAS BEEN INVOLVED IN PARTY WELFARE AND DEVELOPMENT PROGRAMS:

BJP zonal president Ajay Kumar cordially invited zonal committee leaders and activists during his visit to Kottakotta Tirupatirao zonal, the district general secretary, as an expander to the Seethampeta Mandal in the wake of BJP state president Somu Veerraju’s statewide “Vistaraku” program.

Under the auspices of the Seethampeta Mandal Committee, a dharna was held to provide housing, freshwater, and electricity to the eligible tribals, and a memorandum was issued to the ITDA APO. Ex-MLA BJP state vice-president Nimmaka Jayaraju, BJP president Penta Thirupathirao, constituency presidents Kurangi Ajay Kumar and ST Morcha state secretary Prasad were present on the occasion.

BJP Mandal president Ajay Kumar celebrated World Tribal Day under the patronage of the villagers.

Palakonda constituency Seethampeta zonal working committee meeting was held in Seethampeta under the chairmanship of zonal president Kurangi Ajay Kumar. Among the chief guests were ST Morcha state secretary Prasad Rao, district general secretary Kottakotta Thirupathirao, senior BJP leaders, and others who directed the party’s duties.

BJP state vice-president Nimmaka Jayaraju, St Morcha state secretary Himaraka Prasadarao, Seethanpeta Mandal president Kurangi Ajay Kumar and zonal committee members cordially congratulated former Bharatiya Janata Party state president and Ex-MP Kambhapati Haribabu on taking charge as Mizoram governor.

On the occasion of the completion of seven years of Bharatiya Janata Party and the second term of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi as the Prime Minister Sanitizers, Masks, Water Bottles, and Fruits were distributed to the poor under the patronage of Shri Ajay Kumar under the leadership of Shri Somu Veerraju, on the call of Shri JP Nadda.

SOCIAL SERVICE:

• Ajay protests and holds dharnas against the decisions taken by the government against the people and seeks justice for the people.
• He has been celebrating freedom fighter’s birth and death anniversaries also conducts annadhanam programs for the poor people.
• Planted plants as a part of Palle Pragati, Pattana Pragathi, Harithaharam for environment protection.
• He conducted Village development activities in the village like laying of CC Roads, Digging of Borewells, Putting up Street Lights, Clearance of Drainage systems, and Solving water Problems.
• Organized the health camps like Blood donation camps, Eye camps in the village and donated blood for the needy people.
• Ajay financially assisted poor people in many ways for instance health issues, Exams fees, funeral programs, etc.
• He fought and solved the issues like pensions, Ration cards, Health cards, and also the issues relating to Aadhar cards.
• Distributed Books, pads, and Stationary things to the School Students and motivates them to score high marks.
• Provided financial support to the poor students with the intention of no student can illiterate due to lack of money.
• Distributed food and clothes, blankets to the Orphan Children and helped them by donating a certain amount.
• Conducted many party meetings and development activities for community development.
• He stood up for the poor and ensured the development of welfare. He always raises his hands to serve the poor.

AJAY’S  CONTRIBUTION DURING THE PANDEMIC COVID-19:

-Ajay served a lot during the covid crisis. He distributed Essentials, Masks, Sanitizers to the village and poor people and he was financially supportive of many poor people during the pandemic.

-Distributed food, vegetables to the villagers who had no employment or food to eat during Covid.

-Provided free food service to the Police, Municipal Workers, Front line Workers who served a lot during the pandemic.

-Organized awareness programs on precautions to be taken to prevent covid and said no need to panic.

-Distributed face masks, sanitizers as part of Corona prevention.

-Arranged buses for the migrants to go to their villages and provided financial assistance to them.

-Awareness camps and seminars were organized on the Covid-19 vaccine and about the effects of the virus.

-Delivered food for the covid victims, made them mentally strong with his motivational words.

-He donates food and clothes to poor and orphaned children during the Second Wave Corona and satisfies the hunger of many orphans.

-Arranged oxygen cylinders for covid victims and saved many lives.
